This game is a good game, a fun game and a good Mario game, but: If you wonder why the scores are so bad is because is obviously a half game, like pokemon SwSh when it went out, like AC, like Mario Party Switch. If the game gets popular and sells a bunch of million it will be updated a few times making it 30-40% bigger and making your 60 dollars or wathever worth it, if not, is border line a beautiful indie game full price They most likely have killed this game like they killed Mario Party on release because of that, Pokemon was lucky to be on the peak of popularity worldwide cause of Pokemon Go, and Pokemon TCG, if not would have been one of the worst release on the series ( is today the best seller) So im gonna bomb this review for Nintendo to stop this **** system, please don’t do this to Zelda 2

If u are looking for a positive review here, you are in the wrong place. Not gonna talk about politics, don’t care, not gonna talk about the art style, is up to you if you like it or not (is not a jrpg with beautiful characters tho) What I really wanna say about the game is that it has one of the worst combat system ever, and slowest paces ever. Regular enemies are usually damage sponges, that u have to kill using the few options of attacks that every character have. They took the “undertale” microgame battle system and made it somehow more slow, more repetitive and boring. You will hate the combat on this game after the first hour of gameplay. You will not feel more powerful as you progress, all the new mechanics that you can unlock get old after the 3rd time u use them. On top of that there is nothing amazing about the history, the writing is borderline stupid and seems made by pre teenagers. Conclusion, how the f*** managed to made a game that has a slowest and more boring battle system than any early FF or DQ, yet making a script and a history that no one will get invested at any point. Nothing fun, epic, heartbreaking or catastrophic happens in this game at all.

The game is just beautiful to watch in a big TV and amazing to play with the pro controller. The RE engine uses the power of the switch to a degree that I didn’t think was possible. The art direction is amazing, the village sounds and looks gorgeous. If u liked MHWorld u are gonna like this even more, the loading times are super short (comparing it with PS4 MH) the dog riding and the silkbind insects made the farming and exploring a treat. I played all the games since MH3 and I can say that the old slow pase super hard farming is dead like it or not. I will recommend Rise to everybody who liked World, to old players, and to new players. Amazing game , can not wait for all the updates that capcom have prepared.

Is a full price port, region locked, im living in japan and I can not play with my brother and friends in Spain. Loading times super long for outdated graphics. Don't buy it until Square fix this **** or discounted it under 30 US dollars or so...

The game is a 8 technically, but the ending just killed it for me. Don't expect anything good for now on from this project, u are gonna die not seeing a real FF7 Remake. Expect btw, Aerith not dying (or resurrecting in some way) expect Zack coming to help Cloud and so on...
