I absolutely loved this game. I felt completely transported into the world of Hyrule. Even though it runs on the Switch, the graphics made me fall in love with it. Game Freak should seriously take notes—this game feels like a living fairytale. It moved me emotionally with its beautiful atmosphere and world design. Every area is iconic, the enemies are fun and unique, and you even grow attached to them—some of them can be pretty tough too. The characters are amazing and easy to care about. The dungeons are beautiful, and the puzzles are clever and satisfying to solve. Riding your horse across the map, discovering new places and finding Koroks is pure joy—impossible to find them all, but that’s part of the charm. The story isn’t the strongest aspect, but I think that was intentional. It still manages to be emotional and meaningful in its own quiet way. The gameplay is incredible—it teaches every other developer how open-world design should be done. You can use the wind, physics, and your imagination to solve things in your own way. A true masterpiece of creativity and freedom.

A great cooperative game with a nice art style that fits the story and setting perfectly. The gameplay is enjoyable and really shines in co-op, which is clearly the game’s biggest strength. Technically it’s not amazing, but the story is interesting and keeps you engaged while making you care about the characters. The ending made me pretty angry—I won’t spoil anything, but if you’ve played it, you know what I mean. Overall, I really enjoyed playing it. It’s a solid game, nothing groundbreaking but definitely worth experiencing with a friend.

Mafia III: Definitive Edition

I didn’t like this game at all. It’s boring and repetitive. Graphically it’s okay, and the setting inspired by New Orleans is nice in theory, but I never really felt immersed in it. The story is basically nonexistent—you could sum it up with the opening mission and the final one. It actually starts off pretty well, and the first few hours are decent, but then it turns into pure repetition. You take down rackets in each area, kill the local boss, move on to the next district, and repeat the exact same thing until the end, where you face the city’s main boss. It gets old very fast. The return of Vito Scaletta is a nice touch, but the rest of the characters are completely forgettable. I almost dropped the game several times, but after suffering through hours of the same routine, I decided to finish it anyway. Mafia III: Definitive Edition could’ve been something great, but instead it’s a repetitive grind with wasted potential.

It’s a good game overall, but technically it’s much worse than Mafia: Definitive Edition. Graphically it looks really dated, which is disappointing for a remaster/remake. The story is less engaging and less original compared to the first one, though it’s still enjoyable enough to keep you playing. Despite its flaws, if you’re a fan of classic mafia movies, it’s definitely worth playing at least once. It still manages to capture that crime-movie atmosphere that makes the series special.

I really liked this game. The story is fantastic, and I loved how it’s told—it feels like watching a great old-school mafia movie. The characters are very well written, and you quickly grow attached to them. When someone dies, you actually feel bad, which says a lot about how well the story is done. The gameplay is average overall, and I didn’t really enjoy the driving mechanics—I skipped the driving parts whenever I could. But for anyone who loves mafia movies, this game is a must-play. Narratively, it’s incredibly strong and keeps you hooked from start to finish. Graphically it is very enjoyable. It’s a short game, but that’s actually a good thing—it never feels stretched or repetitive. A tight, well-crafted experience that fully delivers what it promises.

I really enjoyed this game, even though I’m not a fan of the Star Wars saga. It’s very enjoyable overall and doesn’t have any major flaws. The graphics are great, and the characters are well done—you quickly get attached to the little droid, who’s really cute. I also liked being able to customize the lightsaber, a nice touch that makes it feel personal. The gameplay is solid, with beautiful environments and decent enemies—not amazing, but not bad either. The skill progression system is pretty classic, but it works well. It’s one of those games that just grabs you and makes you want to keep playing. It even made me want to go back and watch the movies again. For Star Wars fans, this game is a must-play.

Hollow Knight was my first metroidvania, and I absolutely loved it. The animations are incredibly smooth, and the art style is beautiful and iconic. At first it might look like a cozy little game, but you quickly realize it’s not—it’s challenging, but never unfair. The more you play, the more satisfying it becomes, especially during the amazing boss fights. Beating them feels great every time. My favorite boss fight was the Mantis Lords one, which almost feels like a rhythm game because of how perfectly timed everything is. The developers created a deep and fascinating lore, full of mysteries waiting to be uncovered, even though the narrative itself can be a bit unclear at times—it’s not always easy to fully understand what happened in Hallownest. The map is huge and packed with secrets, and every single area is memorable. After spending several hours in the game, you start to know your way around instinctively. All the characters are wonderfully designed, each one iconic in their own way. Hollow Knight is a masterpiece of atmosphere, challenge, and exploration—an unforgettable experience.

I really loved this game. I played it with my girlfriend, and we both absolutely adored it. The graphics are beautiful—colorful, charming, and full of life. The characters are super funny and well written, and you instantly grow attached to them. Every single chapter feels different from the last, each one fun and creative in its own way. There are so many different gameplay ideas packed into this game—it’s honestly impressive how much imagination the developers had. The ending really moved us, it was emotional and heartfelt. Every time we progressed through the story, I was amazed again by how unique each environment and gameplay style was. You never get bored, because the game keeps surprising you all the way through. It Takes Two is one of the most creative and enjoyable games I’ve ever played, especially if you experience it with someone you care about.

Death Stranding: Director's Cut

I loved it. Death Stranding is one of those games that stays with you, something you don’t forget. The story is incredibly intricate and complex, yet emotional and meaningful at the same time. The main characters are fantastic, you get attached to them right away, and the cast is just amazing. Visually, it’s stunning—probably the most beautiful game I’ve ever played. Every landscape, every little detail, every animation feels crafted with insane attention. And the soundtrack… it’s incredible. Every song fits perfectly with the mood, and I still listen to it on Spotify to this day. It’s definitely not a game for everyone, and honestly, I thought it wouldn’t be for me either. I usually hate walking in games, but here it’s different—walking is the game, and it feels essential. You really feel like you’re keeping Sam company on his journey. The networking system is genius: all the small helps from other players make you feel less alone, like you’re part of something shared and meaningful. It’s impossible not to get attached to the characters, especially Sam and BB. The cutscenes are breathtaking, and sometimes it genuinely feels like watching a movie—the direction and cinematography are that good. At first, you fear the creatures you encounter, but as you progress, you start to understand and overcome them. It’s a journey about fear, connection, and what it means to keep moving forward. For me, Death Stranding is a masterpiece. A unique, emotional experience unlike anything else. It’s not for everyone, but if it clicks with you, it never lets go.

Red Dead Redemption 2

For me, Red Dead Redemption 2 is simply a perfect game. It’s more than a video game—it’s an experience, it’s life. From the very beginning, you enter a world that feels truly alive and believable. Every detail, every interaction, every person you meet makes it feel like you’re really living in the old West. It’s like being transported to another time. Technically, it’s incredible even today. Sometimes the horse would bug out a bit, but when you look at the overall beauty and complexity of the world, it’s something you can easily forgive. The story is beautiful and makes you fall in love with the good characters and genuinely hate the bad ones. When characters you’ve grown attached to die, you really feel it—at least that’s how it was for me. The side missions are amazing and add a lot to the main experience, especially the one with the nun that actually changes a main story cutscene. Arthur Morgan is written perfectly. I loved him, I rooted for him, and I genuinely cared about him—a feeling I’ve rarely had for any other video game character. The original voice acting is fantastic, with accents and performances that make the world feel even more authentic and immersive. It’s a game that should be enjoyed slowly, taking in every moment and every detail. Personally, I even prefer it to the GTA series. GTA games are fun but more goofy, while Red Dead Redemption 2 feels like a mature, emotional work of art. In short, it’s a masterpiece—an unforgettable experience that sets a new standard for storytelling in gaming.

Pokemon Scarlet

The technical side is completely outdated—it honestly feels like playing a PS2 game. The level design is awful, with a huge but empty and confusing map. Dungeons are basically nonexistent, just simple corridors. Pokémon are ridiculously small, so you spend more time watching your feet than exploring the world, which you’ll never really remember anyway. The Sierra Napada area is terrible, a real insult to players. Cities are totally empty, and NPCs have nothing interesting to say. The camera control is horrible. Most battles end up with the camera clipping through the ground, walls, or simply missing half of the Pokémon on screen. The lack of voice acting is becoming more and more painful, especially during key story moments. The idea of having three main questlines is nice, but it’s ruined by the lack of automatic level scaling. You can easily end up fighting a gym leader with level 20 Pokémon when your team is already level 50. Gym challenges are extremely dumb—the Psychic-type gym is probably the worst example. Characters are cute and well designed, but there are no side quests or events to interact with them, so you never get attached to anyone like in older games. The teachers are a bit more present since you attend classes and can talk to them between lessons—my favorite is Guaro. Pokémon models look bad; you can literally see the polygons. The new Terastalization mechanic is awful, especially compared to old systems like Gigamax or Mega Evolutions. The game is way too easy and lacks any difficulty settings. The idea of giving you the legendary Pokémon at the start is nice, but it’s not enough to save the experience. The post-game is almost nonexistent—basically locked behind paid DLC. In short: a game with some good ideas, but poorly executed in every way.
