This game has the worst tutorial ever designed for a game, PERIOD. You get to move for 3 seconds and then it gives you a tutorial/cutscene. You get to move for 3 seconds and then it gives you the next tutorial/cutscene. This goes on for 10-15 minutes. By the end you don't remember anything it taught you because it just shotgunned everything in your face. Then you still have a bunch more garbage to click through and watch before you actually get to move your character freely around without getting interrupted by a tutorial or cutscene every 3 seconds. It's about 25 minutes of Hot Garbage before you get to play the game. It's so bad, I literally don't want to play this game anymore.

The game is shockingly linear, for what's supposed to be an open world. Game is very Buggy. Had to reset checkpoint 3 times in first hour of game play due to Glitches. No Easy Difficulty. No Accessibility Options. You spend more time fighting humans than zombies. (The Walking Dead, which I love, has screwed up Zombie video games because they are all now about fighting evil humans with zombies now just there for easy carnage to fight through.) Tutorials are horribly lacking. Good Survivors make same exact same sounds as Evil Survivors. Why can Evil Survivors fight but Good ones can't. Doesn't make any sense. You have a Digital Camera that only holds 50 pictures. So you have to waste time locking the pictures you like so you don't lose them when they could have just given you 300-500 or so picture slots, for quality of life. The game looks good, but it feels like a bad BAD clone of Dead Rising not an Actual Dead Rising Game.

This may seem harsh, but when the weakest part of an Alien game is the Alien, that is inexcusable. Seriously, you could remove the Alien from this game and it would be better. There is nothing random about the Alien. He is going to be close to you no matter what, the Alien doesn't obey the rules of the ship. He gets to move in vents that you can't access. It's really dumb. Even when you know the scripted moment they put you in a dead end so you have no choice but to set off the scripted event. Killed the immersion factor. It's a linear game trying really really hard to make the Alien seem life like but it's just a SOLID FAILURE. This game is still playable, just don't expect much from the Alien. This game should should be called Isolation: ignore the Alien. I was terrified when the Alien showed up, but not for long. Sorry, I can't get over the terrible AI.

THIS GAME IS AWFUL!!! It can be completed with collectibles in less than 20 minutes. The game plays longer because they remove the map and do a bunch of other things to pad out the game. 4 users reviews are on all versions of the game and these users don't have any other reviews. Seems like they have come from the game makers or friends of the game makers. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! It is BAD!!!
