This game is exactly what we imagined the gaming industry would become 30 years ago, and even more so, to be honest. It represents a much-needed breath of fresh air amidst the cursed addiction that studios have to 'games as a service' or the idea of 'buy 500 DLCs.' Not to mention Gacha, which is a pocket-draining trap!Gone are the days when games were complete and satisfying experiences right after purchase. The times when you unboxed your game, and the whole world unfolded before you, without microtransactions or content locked behind paywalls. Baldur's Gate 3 is a response to that nostalgia and a reminder that games can be a work of art in themselves, without the constant exploration of players' **** game is truly impressive, from its technical choices to its creative ones. The quality is undeniable. I'm on my fifth journey through the game, and I still find myself surprised by new discoveries every time I play! It's an experience that never loses its charm.Baldur's Gate 3 offers a rich and complex narrative, memorable characters, and gameplay that challenges and engages the player. It's a breath of fresh air in a world of games that often seem to focus more on sales numbers than providing a genuinely captivating experience. This is the kind of game that reminds us why we fell in love with video games in the first place. A modern masterpiece that honors the roots of the RPG genre and leaves us eagerly anticipating the future of the series. Baldur's Gate 3 is a true treasure in the world of gaming and an example of what the industry could be if it prioritized quality over greed.

This truly is a game. It's not a good game, but it's also not entirely bad in every aspect. It's like a bland dessert that lacks a bit of everything. It lacks customization, immersion, and a sense of individuality. It has a weak narrative and a poor storyline. You can have some fun shooting people, if you don't mind that the game only offers three types of laser weapons and tries to trick you by giving them fancy names and merely reskinning those same three. Ship customization? It's just a simple marketing ploy that, honestly, I can't even fathom why it made its way into the game. It's quite limited and, as I mentioned before, rather bland. The game really needed another three years of development, a new game engine, a fresh narrative, and an overhaul of crucial systems. But are they going to let modders "fix" the game, right? I genuinely believe it's a shame that they're using this engine in its current state. I felt like I was playing Fallout 3 but with a super lighting mod applied – you know, those ENB mods that were basically just a file you dropped into the game's main folder? That's it. I'm truly disappointed with the state of this game, and I can't help but draw comparisons to Baldur's Gate, where everything they set out to do seemed to have reached at least an acceptable if not superior result, surpassing all expectations. Even during the tumultuous release of Cyberpunk, the game didn't feel as horrendous as my experience playing this game (and I played it hoping that something would genuinely captivate me). It's quite sad that this seems to be the direction Bethesda is heading, and their RPGs no longer evolve as they did, say, 20 years ago.
