Captivating after a single episode, although outlays the actual main characters in episode 2 as those whose life changes. The story resolves around quite a few characters, and can be very emotional to watch. I have not read the book this series is based off, but good to know the story is underpinned by a successful novel.

Straddles the line between a drama and a comedy, seems to pay homage to both quite well. An interesting take on how major events in life can change you, either for the better or worse.

Good show! The trailer made it seem infinitely boring! So I was going in with a low bar - it was interesting watching a differential method of psychology due to being pushed over the edge on the impacts of death and how you reflect on how you live your own life. Note this is less drama and more of a comedy to relax and enjoy! It seems to straddle the line between both, actually quite masterfully.

Hard to turn it off, only because I don’t enjoy high paced always on the brink of death shows. After the tenth of almost but not death of the characters I had to stop! Reminded me of Gravity (the movie) except with infected humans.

Episode 3 continues the journey of the characters impacted by the event and keeps you guessing to where it may all lead. Very wholesome.

This was a surprising show, this is a wholesome drama which is well paced, with many plot points. I watched the trailer and didn’t think too much, while it seems it is completely centred around one boy, it actually revolves around all characters impacted. I’ve watched all 3 available and you get hooked after the first episode.

It’s fun just to watch her detect lies! Amazing and unique show. Surprisingly decent, with interesting characters.

Compelling, different, surprising. I honestly thought I’d hate this and it turned out to be actually a good post-apocalyptic drama. As much as it should veer on unbelievable, it actually does well to hold it together into a cohesive story.

Clever blend of comedy and sci-fi drama. Has elements of Invader Zim brought to life.

Love the sass from Malory, clever and punchy comments. Definitely enjoying watching this.

I tried so hard to like this but the humour is not there. It had all the makings of a funny sci fi and Hugh Laurie - but it’s just silly and has rough edges. Cannot recommend.

One of the best season one finales I have watched. There was an aura of suspense, a dash of surprise and a wealth of emotion.

I thought this show was a one trick pony on Season 1 but boy was I wrong! If you enjoyed Breaking Bad you’ll probably love this show. I think Jason Bateman plays Marty Byrde masterfully.

Love the world building element to this show, feels very much like an alternative timeline. Just sometimes it is a little slow to develop...

Definitely a hidden gem on Netflix, feels a lot like The Fosters except a slightly more serious note. It can be emotional to watch but that’s what makes it so good as a show.

After six episodes the morning show just keeps getting better and better. The characters are all so interesting all with their own stories which come out to blossom - and the cinematography is just so stunning throughout.

This gripping drama oozes with originality where it may have some parallels with Breaking Bad, it takes the situation in a very different direction. This show provides a side of psychological thriller and unique family relations. I think most people will be drawn in only after a single episode given the story and pace. The acting by Jason Bateman is just superb and believable and illustrates his acting ability is far beyond comedy. I have never felt compelled to leave a review before - but this is one show I consider to be another Netflix masterpiece.
