Played this game for two years since launch. Enjoyment was very high at first but fell slowly as game evolved into grindy mechanics, unbalanced gameplay, constant nerfs, full opposition policy against player-driven plots and broken game mechanics that never worked (like multi-crew). For a single player, there is little to do with BGS as everything is designed for large player numbers, but then for a big squadron there aren't proper mechanics and efficient net code to support complex operations. Still there's some fun on it, but not like the old times where people went open motivated to do things rather than fearful of losing their ship...

This is a hard, complex and long to play wargame (if you go with the entire campaign at least), but quite satisfactory when you get into it. Good to learn about the conflict and reason because some things happened that way. Has some flaws, but still very worth of playing.

The most accurate simulation of modern air and naval warfare command and planning. This is not a videogame. Don't expect beautiful 3D graphics or cinematics, just a very hard war game to master... the best one indeed.
