Kill Bill: Vol. 210
Apr 7, 2013
This film is less of a sequel and more a continuation of the Bride's story. This one contains more philosophy and a sense of urgency leading to the final confrontation with Bill. Tarantino has succeeded in creating a masterful story and will go down as one of my favorite sets of films.

Kill Bill: Vol. 110
Apr 7, 2013
This film is a combination of everything I love: Japanese cultural aspects, swordplay, a revenge plot, philosophy, and above all else, wit. Definitely one of the greatest films I've ever seen.

The Number 237

This is a good movie. Despite what the media may think of the plot and Jim Carrey's performance, it is a film that got me hooked the moment it began. Sure, there may be some scenes that fall below others, but as a whole, it is better than many may think.

This film, in my opinion, really captures everything that is great about Jim Carrey: from a down-on-his-luck guy to a fun maniac. This is easily one of his best films.

Though the setup of the film is pretty original, it would have benefited for more wittier lines, especially from Eisenberg. Ansari's performance can be pretty aggravating at times, but McBride delivers amusing dialogue to keep the film going.

Hayao Miyazaki has created a film that captures a beautiful world filled with colorful and bizarre creatures. He places a young girl into this world vulnerable to her surroundings who develops into a daring heroine. This film is a masterpiece in story and visual imagery. Miyazaki has done it again!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey8

The idea of producing three films based on a medium-sized book seemed quite absurd at first. However, the amount of detail, accompanied my the beautiful visual works of Peter Jackson, makes this film work and better lays the foundation for there to be more films. Personally, I'm glad to be back in Middle Earth for another adventure!

Though I am not a fan of musicals, and though it took me a good 15 minutes into the film to adjust to the constant musical numbers, I became immersed into quite a theatrical experience I haven't felt in a long time (with an amazing line of acting from talented actors to support it). This movie will perhaps open my eyes and force me to reconsider the genre of musicals.

Argo10

Argo is a true thriller, bringing together suspense as well as an edge-of-your-seat experience. Were the people able to get out alright? I was granted a solid and well developed answer to this question. Unbelievable.
