This is one of the most boring games I have ever played. No NPCs, no supply lines, just a stripped down version of Fallout 4. Lucky for Bethesda, they didn’t release on Steam or I’d have gotten a refund.

I’m not digging the fact that domes can’t be connected. The game should also have an in-depth tutorial available since it has a bit of a learning curve. Luckily there are plenty of YouTube videos that help figure things out. My biggest concern so far though is the level of challenge, it just doesn’t seem to be very difficult. It would seem as if the game would need to be tough especially right at the beginning instead of the challenge only increasing as you play. The game seems to be mostly focused on logistics. It’s annoying to have to spend most of your time moving materials around. Hopefully with some updates, this game can be all it’s cracked up to be.

Overall I have neutral satisfaction with this game as I feel it lacks in content. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of stuff in this game but it feels like it's mostly scenery. I would have liked to have seen more rides. The game also fails to incororate basic ride functions such as reverse chain lift and dualing coaster operations. I'm a bit shocked that weather was not included in the base game. All along, since the Alpha, I've seen the sunshine in the bottom right corner and just assumed weather would naturally be part of the base game, but that's not so. Our information kiosks are missing umbellas from the old franchise, as a matter of fact they don't even have park maps, which seems like would be easy to add. I was pleasantly surprised in the amount of bugs that were fixed between the very last beta update yesterday until todays launch today, however some bugs do still exist, even bugs that were made aware to Frontier during the beta. Guests are too picky about queue lengths in my opinion, it's understandable that 60-70% of guests may not want to wait in a very long line but once a line gets so long, nobody will queue for the ride, regardless of how much scenery that you have in the queue. Speaking of scenery in the queue, I believe that the requirements are a bit high. The graphics in Planet Coaster are absolutely stunning to say the least. I'm truly still amazed to this day of how beautiful the game looks. A lot of folks were really upset about the size of the parks and PC made them 2.5x larger but I fail to see how all of this land is going to be used considering the lack of content available in the game. The biggest issue that I have is that the game has very few management options for people like me who really want to get into the grind of running a theme park, not just building one. We really need more content, for free, in the base game. With nearly 40 hours on record with this game, including Beta, I'm already bored. That button that you're about to push says was my review helpful? It doesn't say "does this review agree with your feelings towards the game", so stop pushing that it's not helpful just because you like the game.

Overall I would recommend this game to others, however I feel like the game is limited in a lot of aspects. I hate to compare the game to SimCity at all because overall SimCity was just not very good but there are a few things that SimCity got right such as expanding onto a building, for example, adding more garages to an already existing fire department. I also love all of the specialization in SimCity that I'm having a hard time finding in Cities, such as gambling. I really liked how you could see everything actually happening in SimCity, for example, if someone went to school, you would actually see them physically go to the school (by the way there are no school buses here). However, I do understand that each and every person actually doing something in the game could cause it to run slower or use too many resources. I love how big the maps are in this game and overall I'd give the graphics a 7/10. Even with the graphics turned all the way up on my PC, there seems to be some fade in the corners, I suppose this helps the game run smoothly but on a top notice PC I feel like I shouldn't be seeing that. I'd love to see this game go to the extremes though. I mean I'd even like to see things such as cell phone towers added in and having the responsibility of maintaining coverage, as well as other things such as ISP and Cable TV contracts and things of that nature. I'd just like to see more of what really goes on in a city, in Cities: Skylines. My biggest complaint is that there just isn't enough to do in the game.

You really shouldn't have to try this hard to get someone to buy some cupcakes. The expansion pack does pack a great amount of new features but the some of the aspects are just bad approaches.

I've been anxiously awaiting the release of The Sims 4 for quite some time. I was recently made aware of the missing pools and toddlers but I've been playing The Sims since the beginning so I decided I wasn't going to let that keep me from giving this game a shot. At last the game has arrived! I get on to play and start creating my sim, the create a sim tool is great, I mean it's missing some simple things from TS3, like body hair but no biggie. So finally, I'm done creating and I get to start playing... Select a house? Okay, but why is this neighborhood all divided up into sections? Well... you can't simply travel around the neighborhood like before. What, are you joking? No! Remember what it was like in TS2? It's like that, loading screens to travel to and from a lot of places. Meh. Fine whatever, let me just go get my usual job in the business career and it'll all be good. Nope, you can't do that either, sorry! My Sim just vanishes into thin air, I can't see his needs or anything while he's gone. There are many other things that I've found missing from the game compared to previous versions. While the emotions of the sims are an interesting addition to the game, they most certainly do not make up for the all of the things that are now missing. The graphics in my opinion are only slightly better than before. I remember the day the first Sims came out, I was glued, for hours and hours. It's only taken me about 3 hours to get bored with The Sims 4. Keep your money and stick with The Sims 3, you'll be glad you did. I'll probably be returning my copy tonight via the Origin Great Game Guarantee because in my honest opinion, the game is a very stripped down version of the Sims 3 that is not worth the price tag.
