I loved the last Deus Ex. I haven't played this game, but I've read dozens of reviews now. Microtransactions? Installing apps to your phone and scanning things in game? Selling your data? No thanks. I can't support this and will fight to lower the score as far as it can go.

This is a decent game that was almost a pretty good game if they would have added one thing: a sound track. There is no music in this game at all... just a bunch of "spooky" sounds for 8 hours or whatever it takes to complete the game. At first, I thought the voice acting was bad... but then the voices started to grow on me and I realized that it was just that the dialog was so slow - they just needed to speed up the dialog a bit so it didn't sound like you were listening to a couple of slow drug-heads having a deep philosophical debate. One thing I really hated was killing the demons. It was time consuming, and it didn't add anything to the game for me - but then, I don't get much enjoyment out of getting spooked, so maybe that's why I didn't find it a good addition.

This game is very enjoyable to play. It is MUCH simpler than most adventure games, but in a good way. You don't really solve many difficult riddles, but there is enjoyment in the very rough, simplistic, yet very creative and unique art work. The environment and story are enough to keep you engaged. Voice acting and story are great. I also like that I was able to play this on my tablet. If it were a complete game, I would probably give it 8/10. However, only after paying $25 for it and "finishing" it, did I find out it was only half finished, and the rest would only be developed if Act 1 made enough money. Well, it did make more than enough money, but that's not the point. The principle of only delivering **** is not one I can stand behind.

This is a great puzzle/platformer game! The greatest thing about it is how fresh they keep things. Each level feels like a completely new puzzle. There were a few puzzles where I sat in awe for a second at the creativity. The flip-side of that is that without the repetition that most games have, I completed it in only 2 hours. I'm OK with that. There are some collectibles that would make the game last longer, but collectibles have never appealed to me much in games. So as long as you pay as much as you think 2-3 hours of entertainment is worth, this is a good purchase.

I wasn't expecting much from this game... I just bought it because it was on sale. But I was very, very surprised. This is the most fun first person shooter I've played in a long time.

I was expecting this to be a game very similar to Osmos, which was a great game. However, this feels like a tablet game, not a PC game. It is far too simple and the physics aren't meant to be realistic. For example, if you just get close enough to a planet, it grabs you into a perfect orbit. And when the solar flare should push you into the planet, it waits until you're in a spot where you won't crash into the planet and then you are pushed out of orbit. As another example, once you're in orbit, if you want to get closer to the planet, you should be able to do so by thrusting against your direction. But that just magically throws you out of orbit. If you like puzzle games and don't care much about the physics being written for a table, it may be worth a try for you. I could only make it to level 10 before deleting it, though.

I play this game on co-op with a couple of my siblings every night, and the fun we have is only rivaled by Portal 2. You'll never find a game with more a more beautiful atmosphere than this has.

I admit, I was expecting a first person version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, one of the best games I've ever played. This game was not that. At first, I almost stopped playing because this game felt way more first person shooter than tactical. It could be because the battle never slows down enough for you to think out your decisions, or because the beginning battles are in such small rooms/areas, or because the battles barely lasted long enough to actually flank anybody, or because if you actually did try to flank somebody, you'd die on your way there. Additionally, none of the powers you start with are very tactical at all. At any rate, it didn't feel like I had much control over the battlefield. However, the story, characters, graphics, and voice acting were good enough to keep me trudging through. Eventually, though, the powers started getting better, the battles started getting larger scale, and it started to feel like what I ordered my team to do mattered a *little* more. Toward the end, you can still win a battle without leaving your starting spot, but at least it feels a little more like Mass Effect 1, now. And I'm enjoying myself. I think the reason this game is getting such bad reviews is because of 1) the expectation of it to be similar to XCOM: Enemy Unknown and 2) for whatever reason, the beginning is pretty weak. But it does get better and the graphics, story, acting, etc. are great. I'd classify it as a slightly weaker copy of Mass Effect 1. I also think the one thing they could have done to improve this game *tremendously* would be to actually pause the battle when you bring up your command screen, rather than just slowing it down. Just slowing it down makes things rushed and chaotic. You care less about making the "right" decisions and tend to just spray and pray, instead. You also have absolutely no time to "scan" the battlefield as you were meant to (it's a power) because if you actually spent time doing that, it would remove the small window of time you have to flank an enemy before they die.
