As an app, it's great. But even the best app isn't as good as an average console/handheld game. With future updates it may be able to expand its lifespan, but this game is to just hold fans of the franchise over until Sun & Moon come out.

Madden NFL 104

A fresh feel to the long running football series offers some fun min-games, but is ultimately too shallow and too cartoon-ish for a genre where realism is key to success.

Homefront5
Jan 12, 2016
There is incredible potential, potential that's wasted on a game that can be knocked out in an afternoon. The multiplayer has its moments, but it's not enough to help just a largely forgettable game. Homefront feels like a discount Call of Duty with Red Dawn thrown in just for fun. This game has rightfully been forgotten.

Star Wars Battlefront5
Jan 7, 2016
The graphics are incredible. It truly feels like Star Wars is being brought to life. The game play is about what you'd expect, and that's in a good way. There are some nifty innovations (polarizing to remove the class system for players, but it's a nice, new idea to the series) which define the game as a reboot. However, what pieces there were from the old series that made the games so beloved were removed. The lack of a legitimate campaign mode is a big one as Star Wars: Battlefront II was on the verge of something with the story on the 501st. The beloved Galactic Conquest modes fails to make an appearance which is a big head scratcher. Finally, with no space battles or prequel era battles, this game leaves much to be desired and feels more like Battlefield than Star Wars Battlefront. While it was important for EA to make a unique reboot game, they did so too much and it feels they just made a game to cash in on the hype surrounding the new movie instead of legitimately trying to make a good game.

Madden NFL 153
Aug 25, 2015
The more Madden 15 is played on the Gen. 3 consoles, the more the player realizes it's a big slap in the face to loyal consumers from EA Sports. Perhaps the only reason EA Sports releases games on last-gen. consoles is simply to sell more copies because Madden 15 on 360 is by far the most disappointing installment of the esteemed, and often acclaimed, game franchise. Where do I begin? Unlike some, I prefer career modes and franchise modes over Ultimate Team any day so I'll start there. To get an idea of the Connected Career Mode (CCM) on Madden 15, pull out your copy of Madden 25, and, voila! You have Madden 15's CCM! If you were expecting even small additions, such as a new city to relocate to, or a new legend to play as, or even new uniforms for relocated teams, then like me, you'll be disappointed. The only change made to CCM was taking out pre-made draft classes. It seems to make sense because often in CCM Online in Madden 25, players found out who the gems were, and ended up taking projected 5th rounders in the 1st round, but now with computer generated names, generic story lines and unfortunately dull Adam Schefter commentary, the game is, well, that. It's a game. The aspect of unique characters and story lines made drafting an experience, now what a move that was to enhance the game, only hurt it more. Now the game play. No one buying this for 360 and PS3 will expect a graphics improvement, they're older systems, as with the game play, but when EA Sports says they improved the defensive A.I., one expects that they did, but they just really didn't at all. Still defenders just freeze on the field while the player's receiver is running his slant route, said receiver is stalled by the statue-like defender, no flag. If the player doesn't feel disrespected and hurt by EA Sports, they didn't even bother to update the commentary. When playing a game involving the St. Louis Rams, Phil Simms will say (not a direct quote but the gist) "Remember, the Rams lost one, and tied one against the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers last year." Except, they didn't Phil. That's the commentary from Madden 25. In fact, the Rams lost both 2013 match-ups against the 49ers by a combined score of 58-24 and obviously, it's interesting Madden 15's commentary declares the 49ers defending NFC Champions when the NFC Champs and Super Bowl Champs were the Seattle Seahawks. The only salvageable piece of this installment is that Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) is vastly improved with more chances to earn coins, cards and new players don't feel as much at a disadvantage. It's a little hurtful honestly, No one had high expectations for an installment on an inferior system, but it's like EA Sports didn't even try most aspects to improve on Madden 25 and instead, just copied and pasted, even those with the mildest of expectations will be disappointed in by far, the worst Madden on X-Box 360.

Deadpool7
May 10, 2015
It's understandable why critics felt the gameplay was repetitive, but it's difficult to expect alot of variety in gameplay from a classic beat-em-up game, and therefore, Deadpool should lose no marks for that. Deadpool is a game that will make anyone laugh until they cry, and really make any gamer enjoy it. It seems a bit short though, and there's many missed opportunities in areas like un-lockable costumes, and a more variety in game modes. That said though, Deadpool is still worth almost any price it's listed at.

Jul 21, 2014
What truly makes L.A. Noire great is how different it is, not just from Rockstar games, but from games in general. You play as a detective solving murders and other crimes. I love it, it's truly a thinking man's game and requires actual skill.

Marvel Heroes5
Jun 26, 2014
This is essentially a poor man's DC Universe online. Marvel tried to respond with DCUO's success and failed big time. it pales in comparison and without is comparison, is decent at best. MMORPGS have customization, which is key and is what makes them successful, Marvel Heroes takes that away, it takes away the ability to make one's own character, it's lack of controller compatibility and generic controls isn't bad, but it's just the same as almost every other MMORPG game. It seems like Gazillion was too scared to do anything ground breaking or new. What bright spots this game has is almost immediately forgotten with its many short comings.

Jun 26, 2014
The Godfather is an obvious chance to cash in on GTA's success by using the greatest film of all time, but it's actually a great game. It does a great job of blending the classic story with some other elements. Although there are some very infuriating glitches and bugs, this is a very enjoyable and very well made game

Team Fortress 29
Apr 13, 2014
I'm not sure what it is about Team Fortress 2 that makes it so great. At first glance, it's very generic to comparison of most online shooters, but there is something that makes Team Fortress 2 unique stand out, perhaps it's the effort developers obviously put into it, perhaps it's the funny side remarks, whatever it is, Team Fortress 2 is a one-of-a-kind game.

I didn't think 2k sports could do it, but they keep getting better with each and every installment. I'd still like to see a more open choice to skipping games in myCareer mode and I don't like the lack of multiple mycareer player appearances, but it's still a very well made and executed game

South Park: The Stick of Truth10
Mar 5, 2014
If you've seen my other reviews, you'd know that I'm a 17 year old whom has an undying love for Pokemon. I've always said that the Pokemon games, specifically X & Y, are the greatest RPG games of all time. That was what i said before I played the Stick of Truth however. Trey Parker and Matt Stone do anything they can to piss everyone off by making the best, most **** up game possible while referencing their entire careers in little Easter eggs. From earning an achievement by farting on a dead aborted **** fetus (cleverly titled "Too Far"), giving an abortion to a man, to un-friending Al Gore. South Park: The Stick of Truth has it all and does it all to perfection.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril4
Jan 6, 2014
I honestly hope this game is better on the consoles. Lego, when it aint broke, don't fix it. They did exactly the opposite. What I loved about the previous lego games (aside from Lego Batman 2) The game was the same on DS and the consoles, they didn't dumb it down at all. Well they did this time. Free roam? No. Not only do you not get to explore New York City's Marvel twin, but you don't get to explore anywhere. This game can still be fun though and is a time wasster, but it is very flawed. If you were planning to buy the 3DS version, don't. I'm sure the PS3 and XBox 360 versions are much better.

NCAA Football 119
Jan 6, 2014
I merely bought this game to complete my collection of NCAA games. Little did I know I would be getting one of my favorite NCAA games yet. It's a nice transition between NCAA 10 and NCAA 12. It features quality features from both eras of the franchise. Although a lot is unplayable now because EA decided to shutdown their servers, it is still a very enjoyable game.

Previously, I thought this franchise was just another mainstream Call of Duty-esque franchise. Until I realized the historical aspect each game carries. Being the US History buff that I am, I decided to teast this game **** I loved it. It's so amazing to interact with huge historical figures, travel colonial America, and well, kick some ass. This game also brings in the issues of freedom for all and slavery and questions our own morality of killing. Assasin's Creed 3 is truly a masterpiece.

Madden NFL 109
Dec 16, 2013
In my previous review, I bashed this installment. mentioning it was better than the Wii version, but not by much. I based that review purely on the Superstar mode, which I still believe isn't the best. But after playing franchise mode, I take back everything I said about the game. It really brings you back to the old Madden. (Old as in 2004-2008) It's very Nostalgic to long time players whom have played the newer Maddens.

In some cases it's not as good as Arkham City. But brand new developers to the series, WB Montreal, they obviously put a lot of effort into Arkham Origins, and in my opinion, it's better than Arkham City. If Arkham City is a masterpiece (Which it is) then Arkham Origins is the sculpture David.

All though there are few changes from NCAA 12, there are just enough, and they have just enough impact, to make the game great. People need to stop whining about it being the same every year. It's football, and follows the NCAA, so not a whole lot will change from year-to-year.
