PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale10

I seriously cannot get enough of this game! Even the single-player is well thought out, charming in its writing, and fun to run through with any character. The balancing is perfect, as promised. ;) The multi-player both online and offline is smooth and addicting.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is the best LBP game ever made. I can't believe they both outclassed and outfeatured (I'm allowed to use made up words for an LBP review.) the previous titles. Touch controls are usually a nice alternative and/or addition in most games, but in LBP Vita, it pushes the game well beyond what I thought it was capable of. Level designing alone is worth the price of admission. Seriously. I get lost for hours at a time in it. That and the single-player campaign is the best in the series...loaded with both original content and various arcade-like titles. I'm talking about full iPhone/Android games WITHIN LittleBigPlanet. It works well, too! Very well. This combined with seamless online incorporation makes for a game that deserves a 15/10.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes10

Much like the Harry Potter 5-7 that has been released on Vita, many reviews have stated that the graphics aren't very good. Those reviews are completely incorrect! Both Harry Potter and Batman 2 look phenomenal on the Vita! They rival the PS3/360 versions of the games, as well. They may be ports of the PSP versions, but they don't look it. They look like console versions, gorgeous in every respect. Then, we come to the gameplay. This game stands head-and-shoulders above the rest of the LEGO games for me. The open world approach is much appreciated! That and the boss battles make for a very unique experience. I would highly recommend this to any Vita owner!

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-710

At first, it had some game-breaking glitches. They were all fixed with a patch, however. Now, it is a smooth and fulfilling experience. I absolutely love it! I previously had Lego Star Wars III on the 3DS. This game is a HUGE step up from that. Also, it's gorgeous. They did not skimp on the graphics in the least bit. It also went down to $20 on the PS Store this week. Download it now!

After playing through the single player campaign, I can safely say it's a very enjoyable experience. :) Not sure what the reviewers were playing, but it's a good story with pitch-perfect game play mechanics. It is anywhere from 5 to 8 hours, depending on which difficulty you choose. There is some replay value here, specifically with gun upgrades. This will keep me busy for weeks, at least. Then, there is the multi-player. THIS is where the game got addicting. I absolutely LOVE the multi-player. You get into the matches very quickly, also...unlike any PSP game. Lol. If you pick it up for nothing else, get it for this. I highly recommend the game to any Vita owner. **** idea why anyone would give it a low review. The graphics aren't terrible either. They're fairly good for a handheld title. It may not look AS good as Uncharted: Golden Abyss or Wipeout 2048, but it's pretty close. It's a must-buy!

Starhawk10

I can't believe this game isn't selling that well. It is the best multi-player experience I've ever had! The single player campaign alone is addicting and well choreographed. It may not have the deepest story in the world, but the gameplay more than makes up for that. The mechanics are pitch-perfect and it never slows down. It's a constant onslaught of lasers and bullets. Not only does it give you a fun 2 player co-op through the campaign, but it gives you the option to have 4 players splitscreen online! Other games like Halo and Haze have done this before, but none as well as Starhawk. Getting into a game is quick, too. I can't stress how quickly they get you into a game. They even give you the option to run around empty versions of the maps, so you can finely tune your strategies. The build mechanic is possibly the most important new multi-player mechanic of this generation. It is brilliant! The game lends itself to both new players and Warhawk veterans. I don't see any balancing **** I'm a great judge. I **** at shooters. Please pick this up, if you get the chance!

The best baseball game ever made. Everything about it is fantastic! My only real gripe is lack of intro music editing...like on the PS3 version. There are a few features missing, but nothing game-breaking. It really IS a perfect title. A couple of people are complaining about the graphics, but I'm not sure why... The graphics are fantastic!

Journey10

How are you people beating this in an hour and a half?!? I'm confused by this. It took me four and a half hours to get through it the first time. I didn't even explore! I just went through the game! I never died. I never slowed down. I simply went through the game. Did I get a longer game or something? Regardless, I do love this game. I don't get the "emotional" aspect of it though...that critics seem to talk about. I honestly think they're just trying to be even more pretentious than all the other critics. It is a phenomenal game, however. Story? No. No story. Characters? Not really. There is no reason to care about your character, the people you meet online, or even about a plot. You are simply taking in the atmosphere and trying to work toward a goal. it is beautiful and, at times, awe-inspiring. Emotional though? No. That is Shadow of the Colossus, Heavy Rain, and Kingdom Hearts territory. Journey is simply an interactive piece of artwork, much like Linger in Shadows, but there is DEFINITELY more interaction in Journey. Flower still remains my favorite game by Thegamecompany, but Journey is never leaving my PS3. Would it kill them to give us a platinum trophy? Seriously... What the frick, guys? Also, can we get a 3D patch? This is a gorgeous game and 3D would really push it over the edge for me. The same goes for Flower. ;)

A fresh story that is actually fairly easy to understand, at least compared to past titles in the series. While short, it definitely has replay value in the trophies. I spent a good six hours with it every day for a week and a half. I still haven't gotten the last trophy. The controls are perfect, the integration with Vita's touch screens is perfect, and the load times are very very short. I honestly don't have a single gripe about this game. For $30, it's a must-own for anyone who likes fun...especially when you can take that fun anywhere!

I'm sorry to disagree with everyone, but this is actually a pretty fun experience. The mechanics are inventive, the atmosphere is memorable, and the level design is actually something I would expect from a top-notch developer. THIS is how you make a licensed game when you have no time or money. Take the game for what it is, people. I'm twenty-two and I actually enjoyed my weekend with this game. :)
