Beast of Reincarnation

Beast of Reincarnation feels like Game Freak’s attempt to prove they can do more than Pokémon. Unfortunately, they don’t quite pull it off. The story and characters are forgettable, while the small variety of enemies and bosses gets repetitive fast, especially when you keep fighting the same bosses with only a handful of attacks. The combat and open-world movement, however, are excellent. The Sekiro-inspired parry system combined with tactical turn-based attacks from your wolf Kuu makes both fighting and exploring genuinely fun. There’s a lot to like here, but also plenty of room for improvement.

Big Walk is an absolute blast with friends, the more, the better! The puzzles are creative and varied, and my friends and I had plenty of moments where we couldn’t stop laughing. There’s not much replay value, though, and some puzzles are definitely better than others. My biggest complaint is the slow movement. If you want to complete every puzzle, getting around such a large world can become pretty tedious.Still, a fantastic and hilarious co-op experience!

Marvel's Wolverine

Marvel’s Wolverine is a great linear hack-and-slash game with stunning visuals, convincing performances, and an engaging superhero story that really picks up toward the end. The combat is incredibly fun, satisfying, and brutally fitting for Wolverine. At around 12–15 hours, it does feel a bit short, making the €80 price tag hard to justify. I also wouldn’t pay too much attention to the unnecessary hate and negative reviews based on incorrect information about "hand-holding" and "wokeness". It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s a very solid and enjoyable Wolverine game.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Onimusha: Way of the Sword was my first experience with the series, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. While feudal Japan might feel like an overused setting by now, the combat system makes the game stand out in a big way. Deflecting, parrying, blocking, dodging, Issen attacks - the variety feels almost endless, and every fight is incredibly satisfying. The real highlights, however, are Musashi’s charisma and the boss battles. It’s rare to see bosses presented this spectacularly in a video game, with incredible cutscenes, memorable conversations, and fantastic fights. An absolute action-packed spectacle and easily one of my favorite games of the year!

Mortal Shell II

Mortal Shell 2 is a massive step up from its predecessor. The combat feels satisfyingly heavy and impactful, the different Shells and weapons are a lot of fun to experiment with, and the open world genuinely rewards exploration. Unfortunately, it still suffers from many of the same issues as the first game. The boss fights are incredibly frustrating and often feel more unfair than fun, enemy variety is severely lacking, and the map makes it far too easy to get completely lost instead of actually helping you figure out where to go. Despite its flaws, Mortal Shell 2 is definitely a step in the right direction for Cold Symmetry. I’m excited to see what they do with their next game!

Resident Evil Requiem has easily earned its place as my second-favorite Resident Evil game of all **** manages to satisfy both old-school fans with genuinely terrifying survival horror sections as Grace, and new-school fans who just want to play as Leon and blast their way through anything and everything in their **** absolutely incredible horror game and an outstanding Resident Evil experience!

An absolutely fantastic RPG with a gripping story, well-written characters, and tons of fresh gameplay mechanics that breathe new life into the genre. The time mechanic is a brilliant addition and constantly makes you think carefully about your decisions and how you spend your time. The combat system is incredibly fun as well, especially on Duelist difficulty, where fights feel challenging and rewarding. For any fan of The Witcher, this is an absolute must-buy! The only reason I’m taking off one point is the balancing in the second half of the game. As you progress, playing as a vampire becomes significantly more powerful than playing as a human, to the point where staying human can sometimes feel almost pointless. Overall, an incredible RPG and an easy recommendation!
