Call of Duty: Ghosts1
Nov 10, 2013
How this game is even credited to the Call of Duty franchise is unbelievable. The performance on PC is absolutely terrible, you have a locked FoV, view bob is by default on and cannot be changed, the game doesn't run with more than 1 Graphics Card and it is not well optimized at all. The game requires 6GB of RAM just to start up, which it definitely doesn't require as the graphics engine is nearly 8 years old now, and there seems to be absolutely no change from the graphics seen in Black Ops 2 or Modern Warfare 3. Gameplay wise it's your average Call of Duty game; set pieces, set pieces, set pieces. The story mode doesn't even need you to take part in some cases, as your AI companions simply clear out all the enemies as you move up, and the clear reskin of the ending to Modern Warfare 2 in the first sequence of the game is just hilariously lazy. Online the game has removed all the core gamemodes such as Search and Destroy and Domination, and gave us what? Cranked. Yep, this that about sums up online. The Extinction game mode is quite simply an attempt to gain players by reskinning the popular Zombies mode from Treyarch games, and it is probably the best part of the game, which is worrying. Activision is clearly only in it for the money now. Don't buy, just get Battlefield 4

A Valley Without Wind 23
Jun 22, 2013
I was a massive fan of the first game, A Valley Without Wind, so naturally I was looking forward to this. The music is great, but all greatness ends there. The removal of mouse controls was a bad move, and the controls they put in it's place are appalling. The new story looks promising, but lacks depth, which is required in an RPG, though this is a hybrid between strategy and RPG granted, but Arcen Games could do better. The enemy design is basic, and the difficulty increase is a huge jump from the standard difficulty in the first game, which might not be appreciated by those who were not veterans. I liked how Arcen Games set up the first game, but the attempt to add a detailed story takes away from the main game and slows it down, which is not good for a platformer at heart. My view may be outdated, as I played the game in very early alpha, but recently I did play it again and not much had changed. I recommend heading to the Arcen Games website, downloading the soundtrack to A Valley Without Wind 2, then jump on Steam and buy the first game. Right now this is definitely not worth it.
