Trials of Mana Remake on PS4 Pro/PS5 is a great homage to the original! Everything is intact with some extras here and there to make the gameplay more fun. Graphics have been heat to the original vision of the sprites but made 3D and it wasn’t like the failed attempt that was the Secret of Mana game that came out a few years back. The music is nicely done and sounds beautiful. It’s orchestrated yet it keeps the original vision of the SNES’s music to a tee. There are some quality of life improvements, like the Lil’ Cactus’s you can find all over the world of TOM. The more you collect the more benefits you can have like more occasional XP from battles, discounts to stores, and free nights at the hotels. It’s amazing! The characters you know and love are still there and you can have up to 3 party members total our of the 6 characters there are. Each have their own techniques and strengths and weaknesses. You can pick which ever 3 out of the 6. For my original playthrough I did Kevin the Beastman Prince, Charlotte the little Priestess, and the Swordsman man. I changed from PS4 Pro to PS5 and my data got erased so I had to start over. This time I picked Kevin, Charlotte and Angela the Mage class. I finished it with the latter party and the game was very good, it can get long and tedious but it’s okay because the fighting is in real time and it’s so much fun! You get to see your characters grow throughout the game as you get more Mana Stones and more of the iconic Mana elementals. Moving forward I just want you to know that I stopped playing the original Trials of Mana to play the Remake because the Remake was easier to move forward with the Stars point the way to do what’s next. That’s great when you’re an adult and don’t have all day to wonder what to do next so those stars are much appreciated and makes your time feel valuable and respected. Just wanted to say that if I leave out stuff that was in that one compared to this one towards the middle and end of the game. After you beat the game and have the fun you know and love with some additions there is added content and another evil that awakens. It actually is supposed to take place before you fight the last boss, but it happens after you beat the game so there is more to do! Apparently there is an awesome 4th class you’re able to get as well. Then there is the vile witch named Anise who wants to destroy the world too, but decides to halt that to challenge the chooses mana warriors. You! After you beat her and the normal boss you’ll unlock New Game Plus! It wouldn’t be a fun, and classic RPG without that feature introduced for the 1st time ever through Chrono Trigger which is one of the greatest RPG’s of all time! You are very strong by the end and feeling very powerful. I started another save with the other 3 characters I didn’t play with originally which are Duran, Riesz, and Hawkeye. So gonna enjoy that now. As you grow stronger and level up and get more Mana Stone and Icons, you will get more classes which are more powerful. In addition to that you must collect ??? seeds and plant them in the item seed planter thing. After that you’ll have the certain item for the certain character to switch to the new class. The game is a lot of fun and I felt very good when I finally beat it. It’s RPG Gold at its finest. I recommend it to anyone who loves real time beat em up combat and all RPG’s in general. It wasn’t released in the USA so I was happy to finally get my hands on it. I give Trials of Mana a 10 out of 10! A must have for your collection! Peace, love and gaming everyone! On to New Game Plus with new characters!

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is amazing! Technically it’s a marvel, and gameplay wise it’s as fun and addictive as ever! I played it all the way through! And I’m this day and age that’s rare for me personally. The reason I say it’s a tech marvel is because it does what systems that boast of more power can’t even think to do. 7 characters during it out at the same time in real time on an open world that has next to no loading times when out there! MonolithSoft knows what they are doing and they are doing it very well! So many heroe characters that can accompany the normal characters not to mention the generous helping of side quests and DLC that come with the game. It’s just so much but they put it together well enough that you are so satisfied. Of course they have to leave you wanting more and they definitely do! The other game that’s attached to it where you play a whole other party at a different time in Aionois’s time is probably even better than the original game in some ways. I’ll have to do a whole other review for that one though. The gameplay and story are woven so very carefully and intricately you wont have lack of either. How this game didn’t get GOTY is beyond me and proves that the Game Awards are either very racist or very biased. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 gets a 10/10 a must have for your collection of fun games/RPG’s. Packed with content! My personal game of that year. This is what I call Nintendo’s best! You can only get it there! Happy gaming and peace everyone.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Jedi Survivor is an amazing continuation to the decent Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. It’s a lot better in ways and in other ways it takes some steps back. Let’s get into it. Let me get the bad out of the way first. You know those parkour sections? Well maybe some of you liked them. I didn’t, and they double down on those way too much for my taste. You ever wonder how normal people traverse the area? I asked myself, “so everyone on this side of the Star Wars Galaxy are parkour masters?” Unless you have a jet pack or a ship to fly past all that I don’t see why anyone in their right mind would want to climb up stuff by hand unless this was God Of War ancient times or something. Lol! If that wasn’t enough they added ancient High Republic era Jedi tests similar to Zelda Breath of the Wild’s shrines except it’s not always as clear what to do, and apparently not as fun. I know, I know. It probably isn’t fair to compare this EA title to anything Nintendo can pull off but I had to mention it. If you can push past all of that you will definitely have a blast with the combos and lightsaber combat. There are more styles/stances, and force ability’s and quality of life improvements. There are also things akin to Relics from Sea of Stars where you can get more XP and stuff. To make your time more worth it I recommend you actually get that as soon as you possible can. The story is surprisingly good with some very big twists and turns here and there. You can tell that there may not be another one though as the story is pretty well closed out with certain characters. The. Again I could be wrong on that. We will see if EA sticks it out and makes a 3rd and final game to close it out in good Star Wars Lucas Film fashion. I give The game an 7/10 and say buy it but wait for a sale if you can. Of course if your like me and love Star Wars, you’ll get it anyway. Peace and happy happy gaming everyone.

Vampire Survivors is one of my games of the year my friends!!! Very fun and addicting in a way I haven’t felt since games like Dragon Quest XI S, Metal Gear Solid The Phantom Pain, or Final Fantasy XVI. You know, those games you cannot put down until you actually finish them and you play them through more than once they were so good. It’s a very simple concept but the gaming mechanics are geniusly implemented to cool up a very fun and addictive time with it. It’s a bullet hell game but it has swarms. The bullets is coming from you against the swarms and you simply try to survive while getting treasures and upgrades by leveling up and keeping Dracula’s hoards at bay. So I’d call it a Bullet Heaven game. The monster are the ones suffering! Lol! This is a indie game that does what AAA games are supposed to do. It’s cheap and well worth your time I can assure you. As a lover games in general, but especially RPG’s I recommend it to everyone! Hours and loads of fun and even though I did most of it I’m not done, I’ll definitely be returning to the world of Vampire survivors again and again. They even have extra stuff packed in there. The kazoo themes are always welcome. The music is nicely done but it got to the point where I just wanted to listen to the Hide and Kazoo! Yep, that’s my favorite track on the whole game but the others help set the tone for all the levels! I give this game a 10/10 a must buy! It’s out on all systems now I played it on the one of a kind Nintendo Switch!

Sea of Stars is a unique game that takes me back to the golden age and good ol’ days of RPG’s. When I played it I immediately harkened back to Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, and Chrono Trigger which happen to be some of my favorite games of all time. It has awesome quality of life options in game known as Relics where you can get more XP, and make the game much easier as well as handicap yourself negatively if you wanted to. I like feeling powerful in my RPG’s so the negative stuff I don’t waste my time with. The story is about Solstice twins born and brought by a bird akin to a Stork to a landmark where Solor and Lunar warriors train from when they are very little to when they are ready to go out in the world and make a difference in their own way. That alone reminded me of the Jedi and I love that. The game eventually make you more free and branches out with side quest and optional things to do to really power up your characters. The sun and moon (night and day play a great role in the story and gameplay helping to solve certain puzzles. Monsters and battle is handled much like Chrono Trigger where you see all the enemies before you fight or they can also ambush and surprise you too. There are Action commands in battle much like Super Mario RPG for those who remember that. I felt the battles drug on a bit and some of the puzzles overstayed their welcome. The game is amazing and great and you WILL feel powerful however it takes absolutely forever to get to that point. I had to psyche myself up to get through some of the middle portion of the game where it can be very slow and arduous. It’s no Chrono Trigger or Super Mario RPG, but it was great to play it and you could tell despite its shortcomings it was made with tender love and care, and showed respect to those legendary RPG games that came before it. I give this game a 7 out of 10, and I would recommend it to everyone, especially those that love RPG’s. Happy gaming everyone!

Fire Emblem Emgage is an awesome Turn based tactical RPG that continues to amaze all these years later. I also must give a shout-out to Intelligent Systems for their awesome music team. They also did music for games like Warriorware. Their chord progression and dreamy orchestral feel for Fire Emblem never ceases to amaze and I must talk about that too. Tithe game’s got something for the casual and hard core vet players as well which makes it a welcome addition to my collection. The story is great to go along with it to boot. You okay the Divine Dragon in human form of course and you gather your forces together from different kingdoms across the land to prepare for a strategic fight of epic proportions against the Evil Dragon. Mostly every character you come across in the game you can have on your team. I call this the Goku approach. It gives you something to look forward to, and I can say I like it a lot! To me the game for multiple reasons is hard to dislike because they stick to the formula and along with that they give you all the older characters via Spirits from the Engage Character Rings. Marth is the first one you start with but it steadily expands to other characters from past FE games. They even are doing DLC where more characters via rings and bracelets are available as well. You have a home base called Somniel floating in the sky. There is where lots of things go down. You can train characters and teach them new techniques from the rings they have with bond fragment points which are earned in a number of ways. You can increase bonds with characters by doing all sorts of things together other than battling. You can increase bonds with characters and the engage rings/bracelets too. It wouldn’t be Fire Emblem without classic permadeath and it’s there if you want it. It’s so funny if the main character dies he will still be alive for the story but he’s never with you in battle. So technically from a gameplay standpoint even the main character isn’t exempt from permadeath if you so choose that option. Every character is well written and thought out and the interactions with each other is priceless. It was nice to see character diversity. They do a very good job with that. I dare say that Japan is better at marking dark/brown skin characters than most American games and that says a lot. That’s one of the reasons they will always have my support, plus their games are just so fun! It’s hard to not like them! The music!!!! Oh My God! The music is absolutely banging on this game from the orchestral arrangements to how the best kicks in when things get serious in battle. From your side to the enemies side when it’s their turn to fight. You can even control what music comes on how often and on which side during combat! I love little things like that! The game overall is incredibly fun and the DLC is very worth it. For me it was the first time for most of these characters. Sadly the only ones I knew were Marth and Roy way back from Super Smash Bros. Melee. I of course got educated from the amount of other games and lore out there eventually, but I love how the game has these characters in there and shows their significance! I give Fire Emblem Engage a 10/10! Absolutely amazing and I almost forgot to mention the animations and facial expressions of the characters were amazing and felt so real, you could feel for them and their struggles. I recommend it to anyone and everyone! A must buy for one’s RPG collection! Peace and happy gaming!

Persona 5 Royal to XB1X (I also bought P5 Original on PS4 Pro) is a an extremely well put together and very long game. It’s a slow burn and little bits and pieces make up the monstrous whole, so when you get to the end, it’s ready or not here we come big bad boss!!! I’ve stated this game multiple times due to having it on different systems and getting the Royal version which is the best version of it. That’s the one I wanted to play and beat. As mentioned the game is very long. So having that speed up feature for the text and in battle is highly appreciated. More turn based RPG’s need to have that and I’m always pleased when I find out they do. It’s good when you feel your time is being respected. On top of that it’s great when you know you don’t need to play a Rom and Emulator to be able to speed up your game a bit. So as stated it’s always a welcomed feature. There are little things you can miss if your not paying attention. The constant going back and forth between the supernatural world and your normal world and school life and spending time with friends is something I can honestly say I’m not fond of. This is where my appreciation for Shin Magami Tensei V comes in where it was just battling and combat most of the time and not going to school and eating out at restaurants and all that nonsense that can seem like a waste of time. I’m an RPG man through and through and when an RPG feed as though it’s doing too much to pad it out or make it longer by not allowing you to fight and level up I can feel that and I don’t too much care for it. It’s all apart of the big picture though. The big annoying picture. I finally beat it which I can say I never want to play another Persona game again. The music was awesome and I get what they were trying to do and say, but it’s not my style of RPG. They have a tactical Persona 5 game coming out in the future I may look into because I love my tactical RPG’s which will bring me to my next review. I give Persona 5 Royal an 7/10. It felt stretched out and linear. It wasn’t a open as I’d like and there were little to no choice on the matter. I had fun but it’s not my kind of RPG. Anyway I hope you liked my honest review on the game. Peace and happy gaming to all.

The Outer Worlds

User ScoreJWil
Sep 26, 2023
The Outer Worlds is a great game with some strange things sprinkled in, but overall a grand First Person Shooter experience. I enjoyed it and it really is an Obsidian game through and through with choices that hold weight. You won’t be able to please everyone. You can customize your character and even choose what traits you want to be very good at or things you want to be very bad at too. There are lots of skills to know, and characters and companions to use. At this time it was a big thing to have more than one companion out at a time and they capitalize on that. You can have your and 2 partners out at any given time off of your ship the Unreliable which is great. Make sure your team covers all the bases they can. You do it well and you could see the benefits play out in and after battle. Do it wrong and you could suffer unnecessary blunders and game over screens. Just a hint for free though. You want to level up fast go to Monarch as soon as you can. They’ll say it’s deadly and dangerous and even call you crazy for wanting to go there but it’s the best for the Experience point gain. If you’re a RPG lover, and want the time to be worth it you’ll head there right away. Depending on your choices you could side with the corporate world which hold a monopoly on everything and are lying about the whereabouts of the Hope, a big ship where the good yet eccentric doctor Phineas retrieved and rescued you from. With that being said, they are basically his enemies too. So the game is pushing you to go against them but you don’t have to. I went against them on my playthrough and it was funny. Even though the head of the organization was an idiot I didn’t kill him especially because he was in the middle of recording a commercial to all the corps and people in the Galaxy. I wouldn’t think it would have done me any good. The game is fun and the choices are important. But it can get a bit weird and strange in some areas. For some these topics may be irrelevant, but this is my review and so I want to talk about them. It seems the game also pushes a weird woke new age agenda as we not only see many alternative lifestyles represented it seems they are pushing way too hard on the same sex thing from the crew speaking on watching shows about it, NPC characters in the game being attracted to your characters you have with you. Normally this doesn’t bother me because I’m aware it’s just a game, but it seems like they were really pandering to a certain audience that wasn’t there, and going really hard in that direction. For what is my question. Did they have a lot of gay supporters or people on staff? Were they trying to be political with it and use the gay audience for the sake of wanting to be new or to be different? There were times where it got really awkward fast because of those kinds of things. You’re gonna have those kinds of people around once in a while, I get it, but the way it was delivered seemed like it was forced and strange. It didn’t affect my gameplay at all but my overall experience with the game was affected negatively for it. Let’s just say I wanted to get through the game without having to think about it. I bought it and played it and supported Obsidian, so I have a right to express my feelings on the review. But that’s enough about that. Obsidian was apart of Bethesda so naturally they’d have a bit of their DNA in there with the loot and how it’s handled by weight. Be prepared to upgrade how much you can hold of your like me and like storing as much as you can on you. There are many upgrades to Taylor your character and party to your particular play style which I absolutely love. The music was good and the gameplay kept me engaged. This is a game that’s been a long time coming for me to finally finish in my backlog and I’m glad I could get to it. I give The Outer Worlds a solid 7/10 and would recommend it to those that like RPG’s especially First Person Shooter western style RPG’s, because that’s what it is essentially. There is some political stuff in it that doesn’t help it along the lines of same sex and it can be troublesome to those that may not want that in their gaming experience. Peace to all and happy gaming.

Street Fighter 6

Sep 26, 2023
Street Fighter 6 is amazing. This is a much better entry than SF5 was. New characters are introduced and you can even see originals still around. There is World Tour Mode, an Online gathering spot which I haven’t tried due to no internet connection where I’m currently at, and a normal 2 round match mode where you fight 2 rounds against fighters you know and love. The World Tour as my favorite because you get to create your own character and travel around the world. The fighters you come across are your masters and have a level rank with them. You can learn their moves and supers if you train hard enough bough with each. Don’t fret though if you have a style you like and can’t part with it you can transfer those experience points to a master who needs it and level them up as well. It’s like one big Street Fighter RPG which I absolutely love. As you know I love all kinds of RPG’s and have a special place in my heart for RPG fighters such as this. It all started back on Nintendo 64 with a game called Flying Dragon, but that’s another story for another day. You follow the story by doing missions in the starting city. You find out that’s the same city from Final Fight where they have a memorial to Haggar the Mayor who helped fight to rid the city of gangs and hoodlums. It would make sense, fighting is in these peoples DNA so you can literally fight everyone you see on the street from big buff dudes to old ladies. It’s kind of funny but it works very well with THIS particular city. More areas unlock later on. It’s interesting how the characters are introduced in the story. I haven’t fully seen everything the story has to offer but I’m in my 70’s when it comes to levels. The story mode kind of keeps going. I did play a normal match and it appears for Ryu the new character Luke is the last boss. He’s the featured character on the game so him being the next up and coming guy it’s natural he’d be looking for the legend Ryu. Anyway I don’t want to say much else. The game is what you’d expect from a Street fighter game. Characters are stylish, handsome and lovely respectively. Beautiful visuals that are a pleasure to see. My only gripe about the game was while it was downloading Capcom seems to think I want to see the beginning intro movie all the time with the very feminine male character hosting the fighting event. I mean it’s different but I’d rather not see it more than once. Also I was surprised to see the lack of characters in the story and world tour mode. Other than that I have no complaints about it and I’m sure you’ll love it. SF6 it’s. 9 out of 10 for me. Almost perfect. Happy gaming and enjoy my friends!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is a masterpiece! So much so Xbox, Sony and people from Steam had to congratulate Nintendo publicly for it. It again does what systems that boas of power and technology marvel can’t even do. Link is exploring Hyrule again but it’s not the same as last time! There is now sky portions and also the depths (beneath the ground) portion! I explained it to a friend and he was like. “Oh shoot! So you go to hell?!” I cracked up so hard!!! I told him no you don’t go to hell but you’re deep underground and becasue there is lava in certain parts it’s kind of like hell. lol! Not only that but there are new sages of the elements to help Link and not just with a little measly attack like the last ones. There aren’t any divine beats this time but you can take avatars of those elemental sages with you all at once in Hyrule! Yes that’s right you can literally go around with your own mob and mob on the moblins and other monsters for a change! This was a breath of fresh air for me to see Link not alone all the time. There are the usual weapons and items you can collect on your own or buy from vendors. There is so much to do and I know I didn’t do everything, but the dungeons are absolutely amazing! They all have a theme song but the theme changes depending on what stage of the dungeon you’re at. So basically every dungeon actually has about 5 different songs to it. There are 4 main dungeons so that’s 20 songs. They way they blend it with the story is incredible and it’s so fitting not intruding on the gameplay at all like many AAA games seem to like to do. No area is off limits and you aren’t penalized for going out of bounds or some other silly crap like that. If anyone wants to make any game open world or not, you should definitely take notes from Zelda TOTK. Wherever you see you can go. One of the new features this time around are the being below and going above through the earth. This power is great and definitely makes scaling certain areas they you may remember in Zelda Breath of the Wild much more easy now. The upheaval happened and due to that there are more caves than ever in Hyrule. Use that to your advantage! The depths are great for finding a new raw mineral called Zoneite. This is integral if you want to use the newly descovered ancient tech. To top it all off you know who is the last boss. The big bad! He’s back in full force this time not just as some ethereal mad being but as the man the myth and the legend that is Ganon/Ganondorf! He’s everything you’d expect from a top tier villain, and depending on how you played the game it can be more or less challenging leading up to him. Nintendo once again outdoes themselves and pushes the hardware to the max with this one, continuing to set the standard for games anywhere and everywhere. I give Zelda TOTK a 11/10, and it greatly exceeds my expectations so much! It’s packed with content! An absolute must buy! I recommend it to everyone! Love and peace! happy gaming everyone!

Mortal Kombat 1 Reboot to PS5 is amazing! The story is cool and rich. The voice acting is amazingly done. Videogame movie quality at its best. The characters are fleshed out wonderfully and make sense why and what they are fighting for in the absolute stunning and also very rough/bleak Outworld. The game is fun and can be tailored to how you like it from Very Easy to Very Hard. If you wanted to the Test Your Might challenges can be automatically done to keep you in that story that’s written so well. Liu Kang is the is the God of Fire this time and he’s in Raiden’s place while Raiden is the new Liu Kang. Liu Kang has created it all in his image but there is someone working against the peace that he wrote in the creation. I’ll stop there because I ain’t about to blow anything for y’all! There is online gaming and leaderboards and worldwide rankings but I wasn’t able to try those at this time. The game will keep you on the edge of your seat and Ed Boon and his team did very good here. Other than the main story if you don’t have Internet there isn’t much else to do except the Towers. You get a number score after it but as far as getting XP and MK having and RPG mode…. They don’t have that. So after I beat the story I was done as far as I was concerned. I was able to score the Premium Edition and just to let everyone know I buy all my games. I don’t get freebies. I support the game but purchasing it everytime. I give MK1 Reboot an 8/10! Amazing story. Very nice visuals! Story is rather short, and there isn’t much else to do aside from it. Peace everyone and happy gaming!

This was very unexpected when I heard the announcement! But once I realized it was about the original good mini games and game boards from the N64, GameCube and all other Mario Parties, I had to get it! The last Mario Party I didn’t even buy because my distaste for the one on the Wii U was so great. The fact that Nintendo was kind enough to bring this back is awesome! You have control over which games you play how many turns on a game board, if you want to play online or offline. I’ve played all the boards and even a few of them twice now. I’ve only been playing offline so I can get good at those games again before I even think of going online and playing with people!

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Nov 4, 2021
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is Square Enix’s attempt to come back after the disaster that was Marvels Avengers. Well I’m glad to say this game is better in a few ways. Let’s get into it. The game is quite linear and there aren’t many paths to follow but the paths there are are few. You’ll have to keep an eye out for components that Rocket works on Peter Quill’s suit for upgrades. Being an RPG man myself I would have liked abilities to be unlocked via levels and natural progression rather than finding things in each level. For the special moves there are skill points earned in battles with enemies. You can only upgrade Star Lord’s (Peter Quill’s) suit via the found components. Not anyone else’s suit. The other character have 4 different special moves they can do like Star Lord. I didn’t realize this til later chapters though. Silly me. The suits are only cosmetic and give no in game effect. This being a square game and a somewhat of an RPG I expected the suits to actually do something in game since the price of the game was 70$ with those extra suits bought for the preorder. I was let down due to that. I’ve never been that into the GOTG but this was a nice Action RPG from Square so I wanted to show my support. The games story is okay I suppose. The crazy cultists bad guys always seem to be in media these days and it gets annoying. It especially gets annoying when they don’t know wether they are a cult or a church. They are two different things but the characters don’t seem to be educated enough to know the difference. I was surprised at the music that Star Lord liked in this particular game. It was much different than that of the GOTG movie. No Jackson 5, no Come and Get Your Love…. There were songs missing that could have made the game more enjoyable. The huddling mechanic where the team comes together to have a pep talk mid battle seemed a bit out of place and when fighting enemies mid battle you really wouldn’t even dream of doing that or you’d definitely die. Overall the game is a unique experience but it isn’t without flaws. The game had glitches in it multiple times. I can count them on one hand but they made me redo parts of the game which wasted precious time and I didn’t quite enjoy that. I feel Square has a long way to go to get this genre of game to be enjoyable as their classic JRPG works. It stated to fee repetitive and exhausting toward the end. They talk a lot!! I mean ALOT!! I wanted them to be quiet sometimes, but I’m an introverted person maybe that’s why. That made me not able to play this game all at once. The customizing options for the game was good however and it makes it accessible to anyone. That I was glad about. I didn’t want a Dark Souls or Sekiro title here every thought those have their place. I’m glad GOTG doesn’t play like that. So for the conclusion game is better than Avengers. No online. Single player, fun to a degree. The story isn’t very good. The music wasn’t all that. The voice acting was good. Glitches may throw you back a few hours. The game gets repetitive and looks beautiful but lacks something older Square Enix titles have. It didn’t feel all that special. The gameplay takes a backseat for the narrative which pushes you where it wants you to go rather than you having the freedom to choose. I give The Guardians of the Galaxy a 6 out of 10. I played may Square games over the years so maybe my expectations for this one was a bit high. I hope they get the formula for their superhero games down in the future. I’ll see y’all later. Hopefully this review makes you consider wether this title is for you or not. Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

This game took me by surprise honestly. I wasn’t even going to get it but once I seen PlayerEssence’s video about it and checked the trailer out and seen some gameplay I had to get it. If anyone remembers that game called Bop It back in the day? Well it’s like that but of video games. Short mini games you can play with all of Wario and his friends. All of his friends control differently so how you apply each character to the mini games will be different. It’s fun how after you beat the games story mode you can then level up different characters even further so the game can be even more enjoyable. The music is awesome! I wanted to find out why so I did some research and the same folks who did the music for Fire Emblem to the music for this game, so no wonder why. This game is something you can pick up quickly snd put down and pick back up. I loved it a lot more than I thought I would and I’d recommend it to anyone! Enjoy!

Fun times on this game. This was awesome as a 1 player adventure against CPU’s and an awesome multiplayer party game as well. This started the whole franchise. It would be nice if Mario party’s could go back to this yet still be fresh and new. Awesome music and even voices characters, and for the time. That was magnificent thing to experience. Kudos for all those that had their palms jacked up due to spinning the control stick with it. Warriors! Lol! Definite 10 out of 10.

This game is right here!!! The first games of the middle Dragon Quests I was eager to play! This was the first ever JRPG to introduce the monster hunting mechanic before the likes of Pokémon, Shin Magami Tensei, and Digimon, and any other game you can think of. It introduced it in a subtle way forward the middle of the game. Each monster has its own stats and everything. They can equip weapons and armor and learn skills. I’ve just played it up until the demon world so I know I still have a ways to go but I had to comment on this masterpiece of an RPG which the creator Yuji Horii said it’s his favorite of the whole DQ franchise. You play as the hero traveling with his father, then later on play his children which you have after choosing your wife of course. There are 3 women to choose from. You have Bianca which is your childhood friend, a Beaty you will just meet with blue hair (I forgot her name) and then a new wife option added when the game was upgraded on the 3DS which of course got printed over and optimized for iOS. It’s definitely the best phone game to get because it takes no data and there are no micro transactions. Good ol’ RPG of the golden era gameplay. Priceless. I recommend this game to anyone. Now this came out at a different era so some of the later dungeons and areas may feel absolutely brutal but if you put in the time and grind it out when things get tough you’ll overcome anything. It plays like a good RPG should. Definitely the best out of IV V and VI to at least start at. Review for DQ VI to iOS coming soon. Thank you for reading it.

This game was the only game is MJ fans could have for a long time. The last one being the moon walker to Snes and Sega. I was supremely happy to play as the King of Pop and dance to his classic well choreographed tunes. Because of that I had to give this a 10. There is nothing wrong with it. I could play it on the go on the phone wherever I was. It’s no longer available which **** but it’s awesome while it lasted. All I wish for is more songs. It would have been cool to have more. I only remember Thriller Billie Jean, Beat It, Remember The Time, Rock My World, Don’t Stop Til Ya Get Enough and a few others. Much fun always. There won’t be another Michael Jackson so this is the closest thing we will get to him in game form. Please play it if you haven’t yet. I can’t recommend it enough.

Forza Horizon 4 is awesome. The graphics are some of the best you’ll see and I’m not even a big graphic guy. The gameplay loop is addicting as you unlock more races and challenges to do. As you drive around you get experience points for stunts and narrow hit and misses of other vehicles. You can do all sorts of things around the map. I like how you get your own house where you can customize your vehicles by the numbers in great detail of all things from tires to suspension, size reduction, engine swaps and more. I was late to the party on this one but I must say this is clearly the best Racing RPG experience I’ve ever been apart of. Oh yeah you don’t only race other cars but you race against trains trucks and huge hovercrafts I could believe the absurdity of it all yet it makes so much sense. Also you can customize what they call you in the game by last name or first name, also titles like Sir, Mr. President or Your Majesty! Lol! Absolutely incredible! I recommend this game to anyone with an XboxOne or PC. As a matter of fact I got the systems for this game among many others. Thanks Forza Horizon 4 Team for a racing masterpiece and I’m not even a big racing guy.

After the Torna DLC and other expansions this game shines so bright! It’s an awesome RPG with awesome combat. Not to mention in depth leveling up system and world building with linking up with NPC’s and the blade system! The base game is awesome and the music and atmosphere is epic. I was thinking you could ride in Skells, Gundams, Artifices... whatever you want to call them but you cannot. Your blades are with you in the field. The games story and cutscenes are legendary and the gameplay is right up there with them. The Torna DLC outdoes the normal game because of the music and the faster paced gameplay and level up system. I’d recommend this to RPG lovers and first time players of the series! Happy gaming and stay safe out there!

I loved this game! Any game where you can create your own character and it isn’t brutal (like a Dark SoulsBourne game) is definitely something in all about. Plus the RPG mechanics and systems for all your different chained animals characters that are from this void like place. You harness their power and they help you. It’s so cool. There is even post game content I have to get to but this is one of my favs! Enjoyed it every bit!

It’s so much fun yet different In good and some not so good ways. I love the gameplay and the music. There are times when the game drags on at parts it shouldn’t. I understand it took a lot of work to lovingly make this game and recreate certain things and add to others. Overall it was an awesome experience. Sometimes they can make Barret the butt of too many jokes. I understand comic relief but sheesh Square.... Prepare yourself for the end if you haven’t played it yet. Good for those who played the original like myself and those who are new to the franchise. Action adventure and RPG mechanics and systems make this game one of my favorites of the year. How will they top this though?! We will have to wait and see for the next parts! Definitely worth a buy!

Game is great especially if you played many times before and love how it was the first game ever to implement and properly do the New Game Plus feature. It’s launch on PC was terrible but I have played in PC and it’s just as fun as it is on iOS and SNES. One of the best RPG’s out there for the gameplay and what your able to do. I definitely recommend this!

I liked Symphony of the Night because of its RPG and level up system. That always keeps me coming back for more. The Rondo of Blood is more traditional. It’s cool but Symphony makes this collection worth it alone for sure. Check it out. Hours of fun, exploration and leveling up the way Castlevania knows how!

This game was the first of its kind and it was made to be unlike anything we ever played before. It’s a walking delivery simulator with RPG upgrades added in there. To grow your character and become better is what I absolutely love. So even though it isn’t your typical game at least they made you want to keep playing exploring and delivering packages to make traveling easier. If you have patience to get over the beginning parts then you will learn to live and appreciate this game. I’d wish they’d stop making the brotha man in games have to be a “sorry ass” as he calls himself in this game. Why can’t the brown/dark skinned individuals be cool calm and collected like the main character? Sheesh. Anyway that’s all! Enjoy the game if you can.

The game had awesome combat! It was a bit short but EA doesn’t really like the single player games anyways I guess. The music was wonderful and the gameplay was pretty solid after the buggy launch. Too many bugs. Lol! They have added a photo mode. That ending..... it’s surprising and not in a good way as far as I’m concerned but I won’t spoiler anything. Get it if you can.

Felt really incomplete. It was fun when you got to play characters Star Wars is known for, but there were other characters that may have been cute to look at but they weren’t as interesting. The multiplayer missed a lot of stiff in its original release but it’s gotten better over the years. It still doesn’t measure up to SWBFII the original back on PS2 and PC. Try that one if you can it’s way better.

Totally wish the new BF2 could have been this fun and cool. This one will be my forever favorite! I loved this title so much. I ended up playing it on PS2 first and then got it again for PC later on. This is what inspired the new BF’s but they are not nearly as good and everyone who played the older BF’s know that. Give this one a try if you haven’t! You upgrade your troopers by getting high scores and chains. You can play the Jedi’s too and pick your levels to play on. The one player campaign is great as well but the multiplayer is where this game shines!

I love this game. It’s reasons why I love Nintendo and what they do. The games are fun. Simply that. They don’t need a political narrative. They don’t need to test the waters of what’s acceptable in society or not. They just need to be fun. Nintendo gets this and they got this with this title. Hours upon hours of fun and I’m still playing it and finding new things. I haven’t even seen all of the map yet. It’s just amazing what Nintendo was able to do. I recommend this to everyone who loves games! The Big N is still setting the standard in their own ways!

I didn’t like it. A chore to play. The story was trying to be something new at the cost of us actually enjoying the game. They wanted a reaction and didn’t care what reaction it was they were going to get out of us. Workers obviously don’t like working there too which is why stuff got leaked. But even before that my gaming senses were tingling that this game was going to ****. So much cringe. So many reasons why It’s not fun to ply or memorable at all. Nonsense. I can’t recommend this hame with a clear and good conscience. Save your money. Music and graphics were good, but that’s about it. It’s beautiful trash. Stay safe out there.

Awesome! A real game that’s fun and enjoyable to play. It keeps you interested with the Zelda BOTW type explorations and the Red Dead Redemption 2 style narrative cutscenes but with a Samurai Japanese twist of course. I’m so thankful they made it in English and it was an option. I have to read so much for college classes and other things so I’m not into reading subs. The game doesn’t make you hate it. Anyone can pick it up and enjoy it with multiple skill levels. I’d recommend this game to anyone who loves action adventure Real Time Open World RPG Samurai type games. I’m an RPG man so I love this style of gameplay and I hope others game studios take notes. Not to mention any names but you know who I’m talking about with their naughty K-9’s over there. Enjoy and stay safe out there! Thank you **** Punch for this game I truly believe it will get GOTY!
