Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour

I haven’t finished the game because the game literally doesn’t let me. This game is supposed to show the user everything about the Switch 2, its gimmicks, specialties and more. A tech demo you have to pay 10 euros for. I honestly didn’t really mind spending a few bucks on a game that, in my opinion, should be free, but now I fully regret it. You can play the game for quite a while until you get to specific mini-games that require your monitor or TV to meet certain requirements, or that you need a specific accessory for. This is outrageous! So now you’ve paid for a game you can’t even finish because you need extra requirements on top of it! NOWHERE on the Nintendo eShop does it say that this is necessary (I'm talking about Monitor/TV requierments, it does say you might need certain accessories). So what looks like a 10-euro game stacks up to a 500+ euro game if you don’t already have all the accessories and equipment requirements! Absolutely outrageous! This game should have come free with the Switch 2!

It's just a cash grab. It has some funny puzzles and can be challenging the further you go but that's about it. Unless you play the free version on phone i do not recommend it.

Why should you be paying money for transferring Pokemon from one 50 euro game to another 50 euro game. They are at this point just trying to get money out of every action you wanna make

Mario Kart World, the successor to 8 Deluxe,... I don't really know how to feel about this game. I was really enjoying it when I played it at the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience in Amsterdam and also did like it in the first 2.5 weeks after release and had 100+ hours in that period, yet stopped being "hyper active" after that. As someone who was addicted to (Competitive) 8 Deluxe and wanted to jump right into the new installment, I have trouble starting up the game now. I think I had to many hopes for this game and now am disappointed with what we got, especially for the high prize of 80 euro's. Mario Kart World is an great racing game that can be enjoyed by anyone. Its an easy game to pick up and play for all ages yet incredibly difficult to master with the new wallride and rail mechanic. New and returning items make this game really fun and chaotic and makes every GP both Single Player, Local and Online Multiplayer unique. Not only that, instead of the usual 12 players from the few recent installments, this one features up to 24 players in a race! This game also comes with 2 new game modes called Knockout-Tour and Free Roam. In Knockout-Tour you race against 24 players from point A to point B on the world map while trying to qualify yourself at a high enough position before you get to the checkpoint. In free roam you can explore a beautiful world and drive everywhere you want to go. You can find P-Switches to enter challenges and collect ?-Panels and Peach Medallions to unlock stickers for your kart. This game also comes with the biggest character roster ever made. Overall a great game, but it does have its flaws. My first point: the lack of content. Jumping back from 96 tracks (or 48 if you dont want to include 8 Deluxe DLC) to 32 tracks is a big jump. Eventho this games feels so big with its huge world, only 32 tracks is really disappointing. Yes the tracks have multiple variants and can be played in many ways, the 3 lap versions of these tracks only have 1 way to be played. Talking about the open world, its really empty. Yes its full of coins, panels and missions, but thats it. there are loads of empty spaces and boring straight lines. Same goes with Knockout-Tour, the mode i believe the open world was made for. The straight lines are so boring to drive on, its just holding the A button and pressing X to look behind to see if any items are approaching. Its just not fun unless you are playing with people online and even then I prefer 3 lap races over this. They also removed kart customization from the game, something that made the 7 and 8(DX) games so interesting. 200cc is also not in the game and we have a lot less VS Mode and Friendroom customization. I just still cant get over the fact that they added Custom Items to 8 Deluxe because the players wanted that and they completely abandoned that in the new game. And now with the recently new update, forcing people to only play these straight lines/intermission tracks is just diabolical. They really push a whole game mode away that has been in the game since day 1 just to promote straight line races. So overall my opinion of the game: Its fun, it can be a lot of fun. its a great and challenging game, but I'm highly disappointed in the decisions made by Nintendo for this game and the actions after they made after seeing that the new game mode isn't as populair as they wanted it to be. The game is pretty much empty when talking about its world but has great potential to become awesome. I will continue to play the game hoping stuff will change for the good and also because I want to learn this game on competitive level, but this game is not worth 80 euro's from a casual view. It lacks a lot of content to justify that amount of money.

Played the Wii U version for many years and can say that Deluxe is an awesome upgrade to an already great game. The great tracks, characters roster and racing mechanics makes this game a blast to play with friends or online with people all over the world. This installment in the series mixes both arcade racing and a bit of simulation racing into one which makes it an easy game to pick up for everyone and a great but challenging game to master. More customizable options, like custom items, for VS mode and Online Friendrooms makes every new GP you play a new challenge. Battle Mode has been upgraded more battle modes, new battle maps and a new interesting item. Now also with the DLC for this game makes this the biggest Mario Kart game ever made. 96 tracks is an insane amount and can sometimes even feel overwhelming for newer players. The newly added characters fit well into the roster and makes what already was a great roster into an amazing one. Yet there are some changes they've made to the new version that I believe makes the game a little bit disappointing for people that liked the casual grind in the Wii U Version. Besides the Karts, Wheels and Gliders, you cant unlock Characters like back on the Wii U version. Its a small thing to be disappointed about but since you can unlock almost everything for the kart builder within about 4-6 hours of playing (not including the Golden Kart Parts) makes the game feel a bit empty on unlockables. Also I personally liked it that on the Wii U we were able to battle on actual racing tracks in Battle Mode and instead of adding more maps and maybe tracks for battle mode they desided to remove the battle tracks and only add the new battle maps. I think that leaving the tracks in would have resulted in more battle mode possibilities. But overall a great multiplayer game! Highly recommend it!
