Is it fun for moments. There are some very questionable editing choices, ugly slowmo action scenes and weird static during on the dialogue tracks but they're just jarring not too distracting and honestly I just noticed them because the story was so boring and confusing. Overall this feels like the adaptation of a footnote in a history of magic text book.

I am not a star wars fan. I've never watched the original trilogy nor the prequel trilogy and even then I knew the moment the title crawl appeared with some dude's name we've never heard in this trilogy before we were in for a ride. A messy, incomprehensible and overral frustrating ride.

A very quiet and subtle revenge story full of beautiful visuals and great performances. Not for the impatient

What a wasted premise. It could've been an interesting piece exploring the nature vs nurture part of the crew but it just kinda devolves into your average "kids with no adult supervision" film.

Though a little exposition-heavy at the beginning, Villeneuve manages to maintain tension throughout making it a joy to rewatch
