Pokemon Legends: Arceus9
Jan 29, 2022
Overall I am thoroughly enjoying Pokémon Legends: Arceus. I’m about 6 hours in, and haven’t wanted to stop playing. Like any Pokémon game, the first hour or so (basically the tutorial) is a little slow, but that’s to allow players of all ages to learn the mechanics of the game. As others have said, visually the game is a little lackluster (it looks like what I would expect a launch title for the Switch to look like). Graphics aside, the game is a breath of fresh air for the series in my opinion. I’m enjoying exploring the world, learning the mechanics, and doing everything there is to do in the game. I’m definitely taking my time with the game and am enjoying every minute of it. I’ve read the reviews, and I think a lot of the 0 ratings are trolls who watched the trailer and didn’t like the direction the game has taken. Please don’t listen to the trolls, but also don’t take the perfect 10 scores too seriously and think the game is perfect. If you’re a Pokémon fan or a fan of open world games similar to how Monster Hunter Rise works, then I think this game is worth taking a look at.

Paper Mario: The Origami King9
Jul 21, 2020
This is a fun, creative, and comical adventure through the world of Paper Mario. The visuals are bright, vibrant, and gorgeous, the music is grand and epic, the writing is witty, and the boss battles are innovative and interactive. The only negative I’ve experienced in the 25 hours or so I’ve played is that the normal enemy battles can get tedious after a while. They really only serve the purpose of earning coins and confetti. Many enemies are skippable, thankfully, and I think this helps make up for the tedium of the regular battles. I am glad they tried something different with the battle system, even though it isn’t the greatest approach in my opinion. Other than that, I am thoroughly enjoying my time with Paper Mario: The Origami King. There are twists and turns around every corner, and I love all the collectibles. If you enjoy grand adventures through the Mushroom Kingdom with surprises, comedy, and references to other Nintendo titles, then you will enjoy this game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild10
Mar 4, 2017
As I get older, I find that I am more critical of video games. It takes a lot to impress me nowadays, but this game delivers. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is absolutely amazing. The attention to detail is impressive and the open world is a breath of fresh air to the series. I haven't been able to put this game down since I started playing. While I am only a few hours into the game, it appears that I am only scratching the surface, and I can't wait to continue playing. In my opinion, this game is a must buy if you have a Wii U or Switch. Do yourself a favor and buy this **** is something you owe yourself to experience!

Pokemon Rumble Blast9
Jan 29, 2012
Pokemon Rumble Blast is a game you can pick up and play for 5 minutes or 5 hours. While the gameplay can get repetitive if played for too long in one sitting, its simplistic style makes it the perfect game to help you unwind after a long day. It is not as involved or well done as the main games in the series, but it is a fun game for Pokemon fans who want to collect all the toy Pokemon in 3D and is a good sequel to the first game, Pokemon Rumble for the Wii.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition10
Dec 18, 2011
This is a great game for any Legend of Zelda fan and is perfect for The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary. I was unable to play the original Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventure bundled with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the GameBoy Advance, so this was a welcomed release. This game is fun and easy to play, but does have some challenging puzzles later on. If you have a friend with a DSi or 3DS and this game, it is even more fun with the multiplayer mode! You can't beat the price either: FREE! :-)

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword10
Dec 7, 2011
After finishing this game, I can truly say that this game is one of the best Legend of Zelda games I have ever played. I rank this game on par with my other Zelda favorites, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (although I haven't met a Zelda game I didn't like). The storyline is amazing and the musical score is one of the best I have heard! The controls are fluid and intuitive, and after about a 2 hour learning curve, you forget they are even there. The puzzles are challenging, but not overwhelming to where you get stuck for hours on end. While the graphics are not high definition, they fit the game perfectly and are colorful and interesting to look at. If you want an adventure game, with puzzles and challenges, where you can immerse yourself and forget about your real life troubles, then this is the game for you!
