Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 28
Sep 14, 2025
At the start, the gameplay feels a bit stiff, with few combos and abilities that consume a lot of energy. But after the second stage, when you get through the city, the game becomes smoother and you can really feel the characters leveling up and getting stronger, which makes it much more fun. The graphics are average, with cutscenes shown only as static images, but during gameplay the visuals are pretty decent, especially in the fight against a giant boss. Overall, it’s worth it for Marvel fans, and if you play in multiplayer, the fun can be even greater!

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension6
Sep 8, 2025
Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension is a creative game that makes good use of the DS features, with varied minigames and a highlight in the final boss battle using both screens. The graphics are okay, and the fun comes mainly from the boss fights. Although it tries to avoid repetition with different scenarios and stages, it still falls into the same platform and minigame mechanics, which can get tiring in long sessions. Even so, it’s an easy and ok game

Mario Hoops: 3 on 38
Sep 7, 2025
Mario Hoops 3-on-3 is another success in the franchise, with good graphics, fun gameplay, and characters full of unique abilities. The use of the stylus makes matches creative, though it can also be played with buttons. It’s an easy game that can become repetitive over time, and it could use some minigames or extra features to add more dynamism to the matches. Still, it’s a great basketball experience on the DS.

Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day9
Aug 31, 2025
Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day shows 100% of the Nintendo DS’s potential, delivering a unique, fun, and educational experience. The graphics are solid, the minigames truly train your vision, and it’s even better with friends, creating fun challenges to see who has “eagle eyes.” Simply 10/10, as it proves the DS wasn’t just made for traditional games, but also to deliver creative and different experiences.

Bakugan: Defenders of the Core8
Aug 31, 2025
Bakugan: Defenders of the Core is a fun game with solid gameplay and surprisingly good graphics for the DS. It doesn’t get repetitive, as it mixes exploration moments on the map with Bakugan battles, where you can also customize them with cards. It’s easy to play and great for passing the time. For fans of the franchise, there are virtually no negatives, but if you’re passionate about fighting games, Bakugan might feel a bit too simple for you.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold - The Videogame9
Aug 17, 2025
The Batman: The Brave and the Bold – The Videogame for DS is a fun game that recalls classic 16-bit platformers. You can play as various heroes, each with different abilities, face bosses in diverse stages, and the gameplay is solid. The game doesn’t get a perfect score for two reasons: it lacks real difficulty, since dying only sends you back to the checkpoint, making lives almost useless; and the story is shallow, with the villain simply trying to do evil. Even so, it is aimed at a younger audience and focuses on fun. It deserves more recognition and visibility, being a true hidden gem on the DS.

Mini Ninjas8
Aug 24, 2025
Mini Ninjas was very well adapted for the DS, surprising with its graphics and detailed environments, featuring varied stages such as forests, rivers, snow, and lava. The game also makes great use of the handheld’s features, using the stylus in minigames and puzzles and even the microphone, especially in one of the boss battles. It’s fun and creative, but the clunky controls and troublesome camera get in the way, especially in the final boss fight, which can be frustrating. Still, it’s an adventure worth playing little by little, and it guarantees plenty of fun.

Mario Kart DS10
Aug 16, 2025
Mario Kart DS is undoubtedly one of the best games in the series. The gameplay is comfortable on the DS, and each racer has distinct characteristics. The tracks are very beautiful, including the retro ones, each with its own unique features. The missions are a special highlight: at the end of each stage there is a boss, and each one presents a different challenge. A fun, engaging, and memorable game, among the best on the DS.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing9
Aug 16, 2025
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing for DS has very good gameplay, lively music, interesting character specials, and many tracks that don’t feel repetitive. The game is fun overall and well adapted for the DS. The only downside is the graphics, which sometimes make it hard to see curves and enemies to use powers, leaving the image a bit pixelated.

Beyblade: Metal Masters7
Aug 16, 2025
Beyblade Metal Masters is fun because each Beyblade has different combos, and you can chain attacks if you learn the tricks. The story is very simple, arcade-style: you defeat several enemies to reach the boss, and unlock characters as you beat the game with each one. Still, it’s enjoyable! Fans of the anime will like customizing their Beyblades and defeating opponents.

Naruto: Ninja Destiny5
Aug 16, 2025
The game has clunky controls, with few and hard-to-discover combos, which makes battles frustrating. The story follows Naruto’s exam, but only through text dialogues, without much engagement. Still, the visuals are faithful to the anime, and the game can be fun to pass the time, but it could be much better with smoother and more enjoyable gameplay.

Inazuma Eleven9
Aug 16, 2025
The first Inazuma Eleven game is fun and very well made, with engaging matches, good gameplay, easy player recruitment, freedom to build your team, and post-game challenges. However, random battles that appear out of nowhere can spoil the experience for some players because they are repetitive and quite punishing if you try to avoid them.

Aliens: Infestation10
Aug 16, 2025
I think Alien Infestation is one of the best Nintendo DS games. The game has a good level of difficulty, and the permanent death mechanic for characters is amazing, adding depth and tension to every mission. The game makes great use of the stylus, such as in the stage where you control a tank’s weapon while being attacked by multiple aliens. Alien Infestation stands out for its unique personality within the DS game library, offering memorable and well-crafted experiences.

Rock Revolution7
Aug 16, 2025
Rock Revolution on DS is fun and offers three instrument options. The touch screen works very well, with good synchronization and challenge. However, the sound is very disappointing: noisy tracks, low-quality covers, and even silence in the credits, which feels strange for a music game.
