Great game, some changes on how the campaign map works (cities, regions etc.), which works nicely. Same awesome battles, now with astonishing graphics. There are some problems though, where some people (as always) cannot play the game from release. They seem keen on fixing this though. AI is a bit ambivalent some times really 'smart', some times amazingly dumb.. Really heavy game to run, as it feels like it was not optimised at all. I have only small problems, but I read that a lot of ppl have great difficulty even running the game. I expect this to be handled in patches. I believe they will fix a lot of the problems, though it does not seem likely they change the ai too much, as it is such an advanced part of the game. As with all Total War-games, I still love this title and must give it 9/10 so far. I understand ppls frustration and why the rating is so negative right now, but releases has been rough on all aaa-titles the last 5 years, so this should, unfortunately, be expected by now.

Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai

One of the greatest expansions of the Total War series, in my opinion. It fixes a lot of the 'faults' of Shogun 2 with the two different unit-compositions (modern vs traditional), which makes the armies feel diverse and interesting. Also brings up a lot of new tactics if you want to be successful (especially with the modern armies). The navy aspect has gotten a new and improved aspect with the bombardment. This is great as it makes navies important as never before. The navy battles are also improved compared to Shogun 2, but that might just be the guns.. There are now multiple ways to win the game, as everybody does not turn on you in the end (if you choose to support the common cause), but you can also go the total war-style (war with everyone) if you like. The expansion supports (multiplayer)battles with the original Shogun 2 armies and that is also great fun. I think they have balanced the games pretty well against each other. The only complaint I have is the tendency of the modern units to bug when they shuffle into lines after getting shot. This makes the unit unable to fire in the meantime and while under fire, even more troops will die which equals to even more shuffling.. Oh well, still love this expansion and you should go buy and game it!

Do not like this game very much with the mediocre graphics, wannabe total war battles and a small, kinda irrelevant rpg-element. I do not know if it's because I like the total war series a lot and also play a lot of 'real' rpgs, but this game just felt like a b-movie and didn't give me anything of an enjoyable game. Kinda boring actually.

Love this game, especially how it combines rpg with medieval warfare and economics. It is a whole new way to feel the traditional medieval tale of a young man (or woman) going from nothing to everything. The game scales great from you having nothing but a sword and your horse to you controlling an entire army of a hundred men or more. Especially if they are all cavalry to charge the enemy down.. I spend many hours on this game, trying different methods, armies, factions and character developement. You can do so many different things and it is amazing how such a small team of developers can create something so wast and full of entertainment. The only really bad thing about the game is the sieges, where the AI is somewhat stupid and you can have a hard time to get into a castle (as the only way is over the wall by a ladder or two. But it is not that big of a deal and you should really try it out! Remember to set settings on realistic, as it gives the best experience in my opinion.

Great rpg game with lots of possibilities and nice graphics. The story is brilliant and the combat feels intense. The only problem with the game is the number of similar, unimportant and boring sidemissions, the money that you get is of no importance and the stats selection and item management is way too complex. If no side quests are made, you can play through the whole game relatively fast, which is a shame, as it has such a great story to tell and so many possibilities to make even more. But still a great game and definitely worth your time.

Great game with a nice cinematic like gameplay and beautiful graphics. You can play it through multiple times and experience new things each time, and especially learning about your teammates is interesting. The only negative side is balancing the different classes, but at least they simplified the character developement/stats from the first game, and also made the item system work by removing the constant looting and checking details of every item to get the strongest character. They also made side quests interesting, as it is not just a visit to a random planet/moon where you kill some guys and leaves (the fist game, red). Every action has consequences and it is a brilliant rpg. Can't wait for the third game next year where my Shepard will save the universe once again!

I found the game full of bugs and limited. You cannot edit decks, only add or not add new cards you win. The decks are very unbalanced and few are interesting. You cannot make the gamephase very fast, as the 'fine' animations must be played out, which I find irritating. Why not make it simpler, with more edibility and possibility for a faster gameplay. Also, you cannot chose what mana to use in combat, which renders some combos impossible, to your frustration. I played it a bit for a while, but found it so boring as you're set in a fixed position with no possibility to get something new out of the game (new decks, combos) and not to mention the bugged Two-headed giant is not playable, that I quit playing it. Do not buy it. Do not buy the 2012 edition either, it is not that different from this at all. I just don't understand how you can sell a game that has broken features and not fix it before you make a new game to sell.....

Very humorous and a great way to kick back when you're feeling tired and don't want to commit to a complicated/serious game. The achievement system is fair, and you almost always, when you play, get a new item, which is a nice reward, as you slowly try to play different styles of the classes. It feels very balanced, also with the gear, and it really comes down to teamplay. Great game that keeps you laughing even after 40 hours of playtime!

It is a great game with a very humorous singleplayer aspect and especially multiplayer with friends, when you can get it to work, is fun as hell, as you have to not only look after killing yourself but also your teammates; and when you finally get your teamwork flowing you feel almighty. I have not tried anything like this gameplay and it feels very innovative to combine the elements to make different spells. For the cheap price, it is definitely worth it - but have some friends buy it too!

A new type of game, at least I have never tried a tps/rpg/td game before, with lots of possibility. It has some good humor and good different levels (both design and difficulty), but I find it lacks something. I am not sure whether it is the somewhat limited number of levels and traps or what, but it feels a bit shallow. I almost always end out using the same array of spells and traps and it gets kind of repetitive. Anyways, it's great when just passing time with something you don't have to commit to and you can play it through multiple times with higher difficulty settings, why I give it 7.

I liked this game very much. The graphics, the music and the storytelling are amazing! As it is very cheap, it makes up for its somewhat shortness (about 8 hours), but I cannot give it 10 as it does not bring enough for multiple playthroughs, other than the opportunity to upgrade everything and take it up on a harder level (as I tried, but there were not that much to it really). It is still a game I recommend to every gamer who seeks something different now and then.

It might have some initially bugs, as any other game, and I agree that it does not bring that much new to the franchise as it maybe should have - it could have used a prolonged beta and half a year more development. I especially dislike that it is clearly imported from xbox along with the bugs that comes with that. But then again, I loved Oblivion, and I certainly love Skyrim, as it is one of the best games I have ever tried (without focusing on the bugs and glitches). Your possibility to make your own decisions of what is going to happen with your character in this wast open world is brilliant, as is its gameplay where they have corrected most of the bad from Oblivion and it is one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen (a long with Mass Effect 2), why I cannot give it less than 10. I still hope they make a major patch where they fix the greater bugs and the imported part on the PC-version..

Total War has with it's newest installment made a fantastic game. They have listened to users of previous Total War games and created a beautiful mix between historical fact and in-game balance. The game AI is now more intelligent than ever both in the campaign and in the beautiful battles, which it surely lacked in battles in previous games. The difficulty settings are a lot more accurate now, making very hard - very hard! My sole complain about the game is the different types of armies. The armies of the different clans are almost similar (containing the same units and skins) except the stats of the individual units, which creates a somewhat boring game in length. These units are however so fantastically made in both animation and model and the individual fights between the units look so real and unique. I do however suspect the release of DLC containing both new units and individual units for each faction. One other problem with the game is that it needs patching and they should have waited a few weeks more before releasing. There are problems for people with starting up the game, errors in the game and the multiplayer is not working very well at the moment. It also lacks Direct X11 at the moment (along with AA). This is a great game with the best gameplay and most beautiful battles made so far in the Total War series. If you have played one of the previous Total War games or loves strategy games either real time or turn-based (or both), then you should definitely try this one out. Rating at the release of the game it should only receive 9/10, but as I expect it will be patched thoroughly, I rate it max. I find that the game needs Steam to run is the best solution to anti-piracy and I do not think it is a problem as most people use Steam now a days. Also, to all you people who comment (and therefore rate the game) before trying it out - could you please wait until you have tried the game, otherwise you CANNOT rate the game and also you look like idiots!
