Overall a good JRPG. Graphics : 6/10. Mostly pixelized and old tech but art is good. Cities are well drawn. Characters are well drawn too. Monsters look alike to each other. Sound : 9/10. Voice act is really good, both in English and Japanese. Effects are well done. Soundtrack is sometimes awesome but mostly ordinary. Gameplay : 7/10. Combat is button mashing in start and most of the game. There are lots of mechanics including block, dodge, commands, spells etc. and you have to use all of them properly in higher difficulties. But in normal difficulty you just smash and smash. To say in my first playtrough in normal difficulty i mostly set all of my characters to auto combat and watch it , especially near the endgame. It is a long game with repetitive places which bores the player after some gameplay time. It would have been perfect to finish the story in 30 hours or so. It is just so long and becomes dull near endgame. Story : 7/10. Story is fine. Some bold moments and talks. Most original thing is this is the first game with gay main protagonist. Characters interactions are very good, mostly funny, sometimes sad. Other than these this has the same old save the world while being super good theme. Buy it if you love JRPG. This is a solid and good one at all. If you can play it on higher difficulties with lots of free time devoted to this game.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force4

Very overrated and ugly. I can't really believe why critics give this game good scores. * Graphics are not good. Too many sparks there and there. Animations are not accurate. Cut-scene art is nice though. * Soundtrack is good but oddly arranged. Most of the time soundtrack is inappropriate to situation. * Gameplay is Turn based disguised as action play. Mostly old Tales game style. * Characters are dull. They are anime characters with no real personalities. Last word : Avoid it.

World of Final Fantasy8

As a Final Fantasy lover i liked this game. Too much fan service, some funny moments and pokemon alike combat system feels good for me. * Average graphics, which doesn't impress but doesn't make your eyes bleed at all. Cute colorful graphics doesn't feel too childish yet mature. * Soundtrack is good like most other FF. Some spin-offs from other FF soundtracks. * Story is nicely build between world of final fantasies. The ending parts are really good. * Combats are turn-based , good at it. Last word : Must buy if you are Final Fantasy fan. You can still buy it if you are into turn based JRPGs. Overall a good experience.

Feels good to be the bad guy in this game. Overall a very good JRPG. Not the best in Tales Series but one of the good ones. *Graphics are fine. Animations are not the best but does its job. Environments doesn't look good and seems outdated. * Combat system is a mess. It doesn't require any strategy just button mashing which i didn't like. Most of the time you don't understand what is happening. There are some minor differences between characters gameplay but overall it is an hack and slash. * Story doesn't impress but doesn't disappoint too. It is good. * Best part of the game is its characters. They are well designed, alive and likable. Really good character relations development with lovely cut-scenes. This game would be a 10/10 for me if it was a visual novel. Last word : Buy it if you like JRPGs. Doesn't taste perfect but fine.

Torment: Tides of Numenera6
Aug 7, 2017
Tides of Numenera is a long wait failure to me. I loved the original Torment back , there was so much magic in it, very good characters and ideas. Sadly Tides Of Numenera doesn't impress at all. * Graphics are good but art is a mess. You can't focus on anywhere or your characters , So colorful and ugly. * Soundtrack is below average too. Most of the time you don't even hear a sound at all. * Most of the time you don't even understand the story at all. It all comes too fast and gets you in chaos. No character building at all. I spent hours on trying to decide what to do next. Quests are all a mess too. Last word : Avoid it. Only play if you are a die hard RPG player.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age8

Definitely a good game but doesn't impress as a Final Fantasy game. One should know that this game is the same game from PS2, just some minor class system which doesn't add much to the game. What's in it ? * Good battle system to grind ; although boring and slow : you can write your own AI to the characters and watch the combat happen. But it is so repetitive and fails to impress late game. Techniks are not needed at all. Magic is good for buffs and debuffs , unnecessary for damage. Most of time you let the team combat themselves by direct attacks. * Impressive world theme, unoriginal scenario : The world consist of so many good places and stories. The Judge system is a really good fiction. But the scenario gets stuck after a point. Very traditional scenario. Get relics, defeat villains and save the kingdom, etc. * Characters are likable but dull : You can't get used to most characters even after hours. My personal favorite character is a villian. Most of the cast are dull and doesn't talk much. Balthier and Fran is nice others look dumb. * Soundtrack is awesome as all other FF games. * Lots of bosses and side quests which are better than the scenario itself. Plenty of time to spend in Ivalice. * Loading times are so-so. * Dungeons are well designed, monsters are variable and cool, boss fights are very good. * Summons (espers) are useless , takes too much grinding to get useful, overall ****. Last word : If you like to play JRPGs this is a must buy. If you played this on PS2 or PC (with emulators) pass this one.
