Old review from 2011. 6/10, This game have a problem, and not just one. League has great potential, some times when you play you had so much fun, that you don't mind not about lousy crashes at servers, not about huge balances issues in champions design and mode challenge, not about moron(s) with you had to play previously game, not about over priced content that offer this game. You just play and have fun, true fun. But when you start new game, and all these issues comes back, and you haven't getting fun anymore you wanna stop this for god sake. Another thing that developers almost every week make some change in balance, that comes in increasing and decreasing champions and items stats, some times changes is good some times it's can make your favorite champion just useless. All league players know such pains in ass who fall down so much that become just not a "good" choice to play at all. One more thing is community, is not growth enough, and i mean not only by the age in my point of view, too many rage, crying, and morons you meet, some times not. I know that in almost every online game, but still. So game is worth a 10 from 10 point, but the issues of the League keep me from that score. Review from 2021. 9/10. After 10 years of playing from time to time and with recent release of Arcane, i just must change rating from 6 to 9. Why 9 you ask me? Because they show that there is always way to to improve. This is the game which you come back from time to time and have fun.

Logged into Metacritic just because of the all negative reviews to the game, to write positive one. Read why all those people give to the game such score, and read carefully. I was not able to play first day, but this is The Diablo Game which we all know and love. Gameplay = 10, Music = 10, Sound effects = 10, Replay ability = 10. Graphics = 11/10, this is how i (or may be we all) remember the game from our childhood. So if you loved D2/D2Lod you should love to play D2R. Also game for now is clean off bots (at least from public one) there are actual people (many of them) play the game. 11/10. Overall Solid 10.

All those who said that the game is bad, not worth the money developer is asking, did not have proper PvP system, is hypocrites. They can't stand the changes where new edges going. Me personally is hardcore Diablo 2 fan, i was playing so many hours into endless battles against hordes of Baal, Diablo and Mephisto that i even can't count now, but i accept the change. Game become more casual, more friendly to users. What bad all says about it? Always online drm - 90% of all who play diablo 2 where always playing online (ladder/non ladder). High price? Tell this to such greedy masters of endless dlc as EA, Squer Enix, and Sega, and others. Over all game has its bad sides. As all games do. In current state game is 8/10 (still no proper pvp), but cus of all you who complain about everything, i give 10.

I don't understand all that negative comes from launch, when servers wasn't ready enough to hold all that numbers of players, and the game still doe's not ready to be finished, but Blizzard doing all what they think is right to get it done, when i start to play (almost after release tho) i had the feelings that i still play beta, but with patches games come better. I don't know is it better then Diablo 2 or not, these are different games, but i 95% sure that games does not deserve that kinda of negative responses that it gets. All that i see now, is that game get some additions and changes all over the patches, same as was with previous part of franchise. And you must to know that game have plenty of space to progress: arenas not out yet,more random events can be added to game in any time, normal items can get some use, crafting system can be improved, new cases, act, areas can be added. Only one negative thing about game is AH and RMAH, cus all game work around it, but hey it better that blizzard get some cut of real money (or gold, hehe) paid for items (if some one want to pay, and can, why not?) than some creepy illegal shops get it. So for now game is 7 of 10 but i put 10 to get some heads up for the good developers.

Its total arcade. If you bored of the entire new race games meta building, and looking for some hour or two of just relaxing driving its game for you. However, the game has some bad things in, i didn't find ability to turn off vibration on controller. If you like good looking surrounding like in burnout or hot pursuit, or high end modeling that game not for you. There no story at all. But overall great arcade, if you manage to get this game on sale for 5-7$ you wont regret it, but i wont recommended to pay full 20$ price for game, for 20$ better get hot pursuit or burnout. And this game has one surprise, its total size of the game, only 850Mb, so small, i'm wonder why that game does not have "indie" tag on steam.

If you are looking for great relaxing game you got it. If you are looking for challenge you got it, again. What i'm mean, is that game can give you a great time of slaughtering legions of aliens with good balanced and designed turrets, although good soundtrack, nice graphics and easy controls. About bad in this game, is that when you learn all kinda tricks in game you can get boring, but that can be fixed by download content, if you like the original game.

Critics are fools. Ss3 is old school shooter in modern dress. Its saves his perfect spirit, has nice graphic for, and awesome gameplay. For now i shoot 10 for 10 for this great game.
