IMHO Silent Hill 4 is "the most silent-hill-able of silent hills". Though i don't think many people feel the same Anyway, it is so so so surreal that that charm just makes u love it. And also i love monster design and some levels here (water prison is genious imho). And, of course, the music. It's smth unbelievable in feelings..though i love most Yamaoka works. So Silent Hill 4 is _psychedelic_ one. Plot also is pretty interesting one, though the most cool thing is this game is just conception of everything in it. So why do i just give it 8/10? Well, it's a bit boring in gameplay, and i can't play it in long sessions, that's why.

Ah, hell how i'm tired of all that "Daikatana is bad" things. Let's see: it has beautiful and catchy music, that will find a place on your player. Level design varies from "interesting" to "just really great" (Ancient Greece levels, for example). Overall epicness, different epochs different enemies and weapons, and funny ones also. And, while it was alive, multiplayer was really fun. I can critic Daikatana only for stupid AI of sidekicks and different bugs and glitches. Well, maybe also for colours of first episode. What am i doing wrong? Hm..maybe coz i played Daikatana first 6 years later than it came out...

I played this game first...7 years after release, something like that. So i was surprised how haven't i played it before. Excellent gameplay, great soundtrack (especially menu song), pretty nice environments, overall epicness. ..and it took my breath, really

This was one of my first games, and i still love it. I just immerse in it while playing. There are two states of it peaceful, relaxing, when you build your village, cut down trees, make new mountains, train warriors and priests, build watch towers and boat stations. And then, the WAR comes. You lead the army, you come from air with fire, you create tornadoes and volcanoes, sending destruction to where you want. That's it. And it does taste good.

IMHO, it's the only true inheritor of first Deus Ex. Yes that maybe sounds strange..hope you understand me. Anyway, VtMB just makes you fall in love with it the atmosphere, characters and dialogues, decisions and actions, music and visuals all is mixing into the masterpiece.

All in this game is amazing. Graphics? They were ahead of it's time. Art direction? Just great. Music? The score is perfect and always fit the game. Plot and characters? Great and u will be interested in story and world until u finish the game. Developers even created the whole language for habitants. Gameplay? Excellent mix of adventure and action. And did i mention absolutely fun voice cast here?

Pretty hard game to review. But it's very interesting game. There are no others like this one GOOD: 1) the plot! omg, imho it's one of the most interesting plots of any videogames ever made! If you love David Lynch movies, then it's for you here. 2) Music excellent jazz arranges of classic mucis some nice electronica here 3) Humour. Yes, this game has very much funny things. Like the game is just joking at player..while also it doesn't. 4) Aesthetic. Very beautiful thoughts come to mind when you playthrough FSR. BAD: 1) Gameplay is just "go here and return there and do it 20 times again". THOUGH that was made specially to hurt player's feelings. 2) NDS version has very reduced graphics (and sound) comparing to PS2 original.

What a game! For me, it's like a "Revolver" movie, if anyone watched. Surreal atmosphere, weird characters, interesting plot (with several layers), AWESOME visual style (close to both noir comic novels and some 80's anime) and, of course, music that suits the game ideally.

A forgotten (by masses) masterpiece PRO: - wide variety of interesting, breathing worlds; - awesome camerawork; - great dialogues full of humour; - memorizable characters and epic plot; - tons of details; - nice music and excellent voice cast; CONTRA: - fights are pretty boring until you get MythTechs - different bugs & glitches (c) - Quake2 Engine with it's limitations P.S. No one is making games like this nowodays, sadly.

Game industry needs more games like this, especially nowodays. PRO: unique, interesting world with weird habitants; beautiful views of landscapes & cities and often interesting details such as furniture or ornaments; funny voices and nice music; fightings are fun sometimes CONTRA: some bugs; maybe boring for different kind of gamers; gameplay is pretty repeatative
