You should only play this co-op and even then you're going to need a lot of patience. Very pretty, awesome gore system. Great music. Didn't need a card system and it's terrible. Map system blows. Environmental layouts blow. Weapon system blows. Enemy scaling blows. Enemies phasing in constantly so you can't clear an area blows. Story was mid at best. But worst of all- the safe/key system. Whoever was in charge of making things need keys should be banned from the industry.

The difficulty spike between the easiest mode and the next one up is being able to do it in your sleep or having to go full super sweat and tryhard. There's too much of a spike. The amount of items and mechanics takes away from the run vs adding to it. The amount of reading required, affixes, subsystems, etc all overwhelm a really solid base game. If they would have just focused on simplicity with the solid base and shooting mechanics it could have been awesome. Instead there is way too much going on, the card system creates a ton of confusion, and there isn't a easy way to distinguish what is going on. Everything devolves into chaos. It's fun with a friend but it's one of those games where the more you play, the worse you feel about all the wasted potential.

Was very much looking forward to this title after all the positive buzz. Sadly, if you're not pre-invested in the world of Indiana Jones, this might not be the game for you. The visuals and sound design are excellent, but everything else is just recycled mechanics that you've seen a million times before being delivered at a level intended for children. The puzzles are boring, the gameplay is boring, and in my opinion, the main story is boring. Compared to the likes of Tomb Raider 2013 and 2015 and the uncharted series, this is a distinctly more boring alternative. I think if you already love the Indiana Jones world and are looking for what is basically a playable movie, then you'll enjoy it. But for those of us who are not already invested in the universe, the game does not stand on it's own.

I love the Alien franchise and really enjoy isometric games, especially in the XCOM style. It's a shame that this game got dragged down by so much jank and never got the support it deserved. It's a great game buried under enough buggy nonsense that it makes it no longer worth playing.

This game has the sad curse of getting worse as you play it. Instead of ramping up into something fun and exciting, you beat the story and are just sitting on a mountain of stuff with the best gear possible and nothing to do with any of it. If this game had worthwhile endgame, it would be so much better. I enjoyed what I played until the story ended and I realized there was literally nothing to do. No big reveal. It really makes all the overlooked tedium and weak combat systems sting that much more. I just felt like there way no pay off.

For me, the previous game was a 10/10. This game definitely falls short by comparison. As pretty much everyone points out, it's short. It ran me 8 hours and I was by no means plowing through the main story. I think if you were you would probably wrap up in something like 6 hours. The other huge issue didn't really become apparent for me till you start the final chapter at the point of no return. Once you get there, bugs, bad combat encounters, bad boss encounters, and full game freezes are all at an all-time high. I had significantly fewer of all of those issues in the first 2/3rds of the game. Sadly, the longer you play, the worse the game gets. Story, combat, performance, everything. So you have a game that starts as a 10, and by the time you finish it, it feels more like a 7.5. Definitely worth playing, just not at full price.

An excellent game in terms of graphical fidelity, immersion, and story telling. The only real drawbacks are occasional bugs that are small and mechanical rigidity. I wish I played it sooner.

For the first time in a very long time, I am having fun playing call of duty. Zombies alone makes this one worth picking up for me, but the campaign was great and multiplayer is pretty good as well. It launched with standard hxc as a mode which is more than I can say for the last entry. Additionally, everyone isn't running around with a shield, which is nice.

If you would have told me in 2009-2010 that one of the greatest games ever made would eventually lead to this, I would have never believed you. We went from some of the best grim and dark and bloody story telling to literally focusing on gender identity, using pixar characters, and shifted from pause/play tactical combat to bullet sponge nonsense. I hope they go under. Imagine putting this out after the likes of BG3.

One of the most immersive games ever made. An excellent story and story-telling. The game is handicapped by hardware performance and requirements on PC, combined with bugs. Given that it's a detective game, it is often the case that you don't even realize you're trapped in a bug. Cutscenes often suffer from random muting and stuttering.

Not a perfect game, but one of the best, if not the best, in the 40K universe. This is one of the few times in my entire life where I actually wish I would have ordered a Collector's Edition.

People giving this game a Ten are choosing to selectively ignore modern features that have become commonplace, that they individually do not care about. There are keys that can't be remapped, many lacking accessibility features, and frustrating in-game interactions with combat and terrain that bring down the game. Additionally, there are no difficulty mode selections. This is an excellent game for sure, but it's just missing things that I would consider standard for modern games.

They didn't deliver on basically the most important promises they made about the game and then found ways to nickel and dime. Deserves all the hate and the company ruined their entire reputation doing things like this.

Like everyone else has already said, this game is fine, but it just doesn't do anything Dead Space hasn't already done, and it doesn't improve upon anything Dead Space already did. It's just a worse version of Dead Space in pretty much every way (story, sound, combat) except for visuals. It's pretty. That's not enough.

This game is incredible. It's one of the titles worth getting a VR for. It's not perfect but it's excellent.

Grabbed it for $14 on GMG- not sure why they insist on making the fan base hate them with their constant greed?

The only reason this game is scored as well as it is, is because of the IP. People are giving something they love a free pass when they wouldn't give it to anyone else. The game has poor video setting options, poor performance, a nightmare camera, and gated content. The story itself is largely meaningless. It's just a very pretty cash grab set in a beloved universe.

Replaced Divinity Original Sin 2 as my favorite game of all time. I am so glad this came out so close to Starfield so they could showcase just how BADLY companies like Bethesda are by what should be modern standards.

An absolutely terrible experience, and a shame that Bethesda is hell bent on ruining any good grace they had with their fan base. Heavily modded Fallout 4 and Skyrim both provide wildly better experiences. There is no reason to play this game. Definitely not without mods. There are so many basic quality of life things they failed to implement it's very evident they only care about money.

Looks good- feels bad. The PC controls are floaty and the movement is clunky, no doubt due to being a console port. It's a beautiful game, with excellent setting and immersion, but the mechanical controls, terrible narrative, and obnoxious story telling make it feel like a chore, rather than an enjoyable experience. It's pretty, and it's on Game Pass, so not a huge loss there. But, I'd probably be upset if I paid full price for it. Bioshock Infinite did it better a long time ago.

If you would have shown any Harry Potter fan this game in 2001 their head would have exploded. Strictly looking at this game in it's own and not comparing it to similar titles, this is the best Harry Potter experience to ever come to PC. If you just focus on the game on it's own merits and don't bring politics into it, it provides a very magical experience.

One of the worst multiplayer experiences I've ever played. The only thing that was good about the game was the graphics and attention to detail. It's just a very shiny turd. No one who actually enjoys multiplayer games would have designed anything in this game the way they did. Bad movement. Bad enemies. Bad scaling. One of the worst end boss fights of any game ever created. It was terrible and I hate myself for actually completing it.

People giving this game a ten are choosing to ignore quite a few bugs, choppy gameplay, and dated elements that could be modernized. That having been said, it's pretty good. My main reason for dropping the score is that the difficulty scaling is pretty much broken right now. Even the devs have told people not to play on certain settings. If you have a difficulty setting that is so high that it actually breaks the game, then that's just a bug. On the other hand, even if you're playing on a reduced difficulty, some fights are still incredibly difficult if not impossible, while simultaneously allowing other fights to be completely trivial. The difficulty balancing seems unfinished from what I can tell. It's a real shame.

It is criminal to have released this game in its current state. I LOVE everything Tech Noir, and was willing to overlook things like occasional bugs or silly stuff like T posing, but that isn't the issue here. The issue with this game, is that it feels like an early access title, from six years ago. The AI, the vehicle behaviors, the crafting system (literally worthless), the inability to change your hair or customize your look, the inability to scale UI- all those things, COMBINED with tons of bugs and very very poor optimization make for a game that CDPR will NEVER live down. They have now joined the ranks of EA, Ubisoft, and Bethesda. More disappointing than TLOU2 by a long shot. What a horrible way to end a horrible year.

The story alone is 10/10- but the game isn't without flaws. NPCs can get caught in walls and terrain and it really kills the moment. Also, any time you're not playing as Spider-Man is pretty painful. The game also contains a lot of meticulous tasks and puzzles which aren't all that enjoyable. I only highlight all the flaws up front to say that those are really the only flaws. Everything else, the visuals, the music, suits, combat, gadgets and story are all top tier. However, the experience of trying to Platinum the game really emphasizes all the flaws I outlined above. If you're just going to pick it up, only do the story, and put it down, it's more like a 9/10. 85/100 from me.

I don't really understand what the intent was with this game? Like, they did everything they could to bring in elements that the community was actively shouting that they didn't want, all while ignoring taking corrective actions for all the requests the community made from Fallout 4. Bugs that had been in 4 since launch made their way into 76. When 4 launched, most people were very vocal about their displeasure with NPC interactions being pre-recorded and bland, so in 76 they just took away NPC interactions entirely. In favor of what? Nothing says immersion like server disconnects and some random a-hole shouting at me over his mic and punching me in the head in the first five minutes of creating my character. There is just an absolute truckload of bugs and disappointments in this title which the community can't even fix, which is traditionally how all of those problems got fixed. I LOVE Fallout 3 and NV and even 4 holds a special place in my heart, but this is really quite bad for a multitude of reasons. People are voting it 10s because for some reason they're so brainwashed into the brand they feel the need to defend Bethesda, but I just don't understand how they can't see how obvious of a cash-grab this is? It's just an enormous disappointment and as a huge fan of the last three it makes me super depressed. It's more of a world I want to play in, presented in a fashion that makes me absolutely hate it.

"If you were a friend of mine, would I actually tell you to check this game out?" First off, just because it's free, doesn't mean it should get a free pass for any shortcomings it might have. People seem to think that just because a game didn't cost them anything we should forgive certain things, and I only agree on some subjects. What do I forgive? Graphics. However, this game doesn't need any forgiveness in that realm, because it's pretty great visually speaking. That's about it in my book. What don't I forgive? Poor narration. This game has a shallow story, told by someone with the tone of reading a script, rather than telling someone a story, which is how it's presented. No one speaks the way the narrator in this game does in real life when they're speaking to someone directly. They ONLY speak that way when they're reading a script. That comes across very obviously. Poor cutscene animation. I understand that the narration is going for a sort of noir film grain effect, but the art is still pretty lackluster in the cutscenes. In my opinion, a black screen would have accomplished roughly the same thing. Subtitles not matching voice overs and awkward wording. Some of the subtitles don't match what the narrator is saying, and the word choice at the start for describing bloodstreaks is completely unusual. No one speaks that way. Lack of suspense. There is only one part in this entire game that actually gave me a slight jolt of fear, other than that, it was mostly like playing a really boring fetch quest puzzle game done in first person. Obvious puzzle solutions. Once you figure out how to get out of the first room, everything after is SUPER obvious in terms of solution. You can literally sprint around and complete the puzzles without even thinking. You just bring item A to Room 1 and item B to Room 2, etc. Not challenging at all. Clipping. On more than one occasion a texture would go through another causing solid objects to go through one another. This includes the character, who if you crawl under the stairs and stand straight up then goes complete through the staircase. Lack of control options. I like to be able to toggle crouch, it's not an option. Length and story. The story is thin and could be written by anyone with a sophmore level of highschool education. It's very basic and I would not consider it compelling in the least. This game isn't really a game so much as it is a demo. A demo I wouldn't recommend someone else install. What did I like about the game? Visually, it's pretty good. There just isn't much to look at. The sound design and ambience was very well done. The lighting was very well done. I felt kind of bad for my original thoughtless review, and judging by all the hate I got, I thought for sure the game must have had something truly compelling to offer. The reality is, people are just **** riding the dev, because the dev is a pretty cool person. That having been said, that doesn't make the game worth playing. Save your drive space and time.
