Quite enjoyed my time with the game. For a 4X strategy game, it's easy to access, challenging to master but greatly fun. Lots of different pathways to take which leads and incentivises different game play styles.

I was very skeptical going in after the experience of Diablo 3 launch but was quickly surprised at how smooth the launch was and the amount of content in the game. This is a love letter to previous Diablo games, with the atmosphere of D1 and D2 but a modernised approach to the combat. The gameplay feels amazing, story has been fun to dive in and most surprisingly is how engaged I am with exploring and completing side content rather than rushing the campaign. Once again, this is a love letter to fans of the series, one that has continued to surprise me in the amount of enjoyment I'm getting out of it. See you in Sanctuary!

Everything that made the original great, is great again! Some server issues at launch but all resolved now. Incredibly faithful to the original, which is testament to the brilliant game design of Diablo 2. If you loved the original, you'll love this.
