This show accomplishes two things: 1-Hate the main character. Galadriel, an important character in Tolkien's work and well loved, in this show she is a hateful, narcissistic, selfish, vindictive, unpleasant character, who does not like to be contradicted, and who has to get away with it. It also doesn't help to masculinize Galadriel. 2-Laziness, this series makes you lazy to continue watching it. It doesn't have a quality soundtrack, it's very random and boring. There is no character that stands out. The script deserves a rewrite from top to bottom. It has boring dialogues. The story is not canon. This never happened in the original work. So this series either you take it as an attack on the original work, or you take it as a joke since nothing that happens in this series really happened in the original work. The bad milk of the showruners and the studio is criminal. Premiering the series on the anniversary of Tolkien's death is not a random decision. Do you want to rewrite the original work? It is also bad milk to make viewers believe that the work is by Tolkien by putting it in the title. "The Lord of the Rings. The Rings of Power" when this story has nothing to do with the play The Lord of the Rings. There are ways to make a prequel, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power gets them all wrong. It takes six or seven things that everyone remembers from the famous movie trilogy, adds a water tank, makes no one have fun, provokes mysteries that aren't mysteries, and sends the best character on a pointless detour. The latter is the super elf Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) who spends the premiere telling people to worry about Sauron. In response, the people tell him not to worry about Sauron.

Good aspects of this show: Has a good sets, good clothes, some good actors. Bad aspects of this show: Bad writting, bad story, some bad actres, bad music. This Obi-Wan is the same as Luke Skywalker on The Last Jedi. He is destroyed and didn't train while Luke is in Tatooine. This is a show with many mistakes. Holes on the story, characters with no background, and the main characters is a guest star on his own show.

Good sets, good clothes, good cgi. Bad story, bad characters (Obi-Wan is unrecognizable and unlikeble), bad soundtrack and very very bad writting.

I just watched the first episode. What the f...k i just watched? this show is racist against white people, none of the main characters are white and is all about racial Justice narrative instead of focusing on the mistery. This is trash.
