The Long Reach10

A messed up game with a messed up ending. I love it! The story line is bizarre and entertaining. I bought it on sale and wasn't disappointed. Probably only worth the playthrough once, but it was AWESOME!

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!10

I enjoyed the first Toejam & Earl game, but never quite understood what the hell you were supposed to do. This switch version is eye popping gorgeous, has online player mode (rarely someone else playing), and is easy to learn. After playing through this, there are great incentives (unlockables) to keep playing. The game is just ridiculously fun and well crafted to reboot the franchise. This was definitely for the old players and not so much an attempt to bring in new players (IMO). Loved it, play it all the time.

Sea of Thieves10

A review of Sea Of Thieves Sea Of Thieves is a game where you are a pirate and you find, sell, and steal treasure or items but warning spoilers ahead.. In the beginning you choose the character you want and your ship, then a short cutscene happens, you are in a tavern and you see a odd map. If you remember when you boot up the game you will see a intro, at the end you will see the “Athenas Fortune” symbol remember the map it shows a entry to the sea of thieves. Just so you know the game is online but you can go to manual but you will only play with your friends k?. Let’s get back to the game, so when you wake up and exit the tavern and you finally get to play the game. When you are finally playing you will get a tutorial on how to play the game and to get in your “tools” wheel, ,.how to walk/run, and your weapons. Once you learned all of this you get to set sail and sail the seven seas. Players have different experiences when playing Sea of Thieves. You can randomly be assigned on a ship and have to figure out, or force your role. Do you prefer to steer the ship, or stand watch in the crows nest? Man the cannons or repair the ship? Sometimes, it’s a scramble in the midst of a battle and people will fall into their roles. You can also talk to players, which changes the game experience. Some are cooperative and easy to work with. Some are hostile and nasty. Not only do you have to try and make a cohesive team on your own ship, but you have to be able to communicate effectively with other ships or you end up fighting to save all the treasure you found on the islands. Each island is likely to have hidden treasure and you have to use your treasure maps and hints to find the locations of them. More often than not, you’ll have to fight off waves of skeleton pirates who want to protect their treasure on skeleton forts or on land. Are you better with a gun or sword in a fight? You’re about to find out! If ever you want to sail the seven seas with me matey, look me up on my gamertag SpindlyPlum453. I look forward to pillage and plunder with ya! Argh!

The only critique is that it is fairly easy to beat. What makes that great however, is you get to replay it as any of the characters (including bosses, enemies) through the game again. There are several game modes to it. Difficulty aside, one of the better DD games. Lots of great moves, so the combat is better than ever. Some of the fights are challenging, but you get several continues and can restart at last level beat. Still, very glad I purchased it and incredibly cheap for what you get.

Very unique, heartwarming and fun to play. A hidden gem in the indie games. Paid at purchase time 9.99, I would have been comfortable paying much more than that. It is a shorter game, but it has re-playability (limited). Overall, for price and game content, hell of a deal.
