VHOLUME10

VHOLUME has quickly become one of my favourite games. The parkour is incredibly fluid and fast, and moving through the levels just feels satisfying. What I really love is the contrast between the speed of the gameplay and the soundtrack — the music is ambient and almost calming, which creates a really nice **** short levels are perfect for getting you hooked. You finish a run and immediately start thinking about how you can minmax it, shave off another fraction of a second, or find a better route. It gets ridiculously addictive, especially once you start chasing the **** community levels add even more to the experience, and the weekly level is a great idea. Everyone competing for the best time makes even a small level feel like a serious challenge. I’m currently weaving in and out of the top 500, and it’s honestly made me want to keep improving.Overall, VHOLUME is fast, satisfying, competitive, and incredibly easy to get addicted to. Definitely one of my favourite games and one I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys movement-based games and chasing perfect runs.

Splatoon Raiders10

Splatoon Raiders is arguably one of the best looter shooters every conceived, it starts off deceptively simple, slowly raising the stakes the further you progress. Throughout the game you unlock more enemy types and variants - the way you tackle these 'salmonids' is akin to how you would triage who to kill first in games like 'Doom Eternal', making it a very tactical and puzzle-like horde/arena shooter, demanding your full attention at most times. I played the game on the hardest difficulty, survivalist, its certainly no stranger to some challenge - especially post-credits. I'm gonna be honest I don't really want to flesh out the review further as I'm still currently grinding out the post-game (its just that good).
