A Complete Disappointment
"Assassin’s Creed Shadows" is a massive letdown, failing to deliver on the promise of a true Assassin’s Creed experience. Despite the appealing setting of feudal Japan, the game is riddled with fundamental flaws that make it nearly unplayable. **A Soulless Story with Forgettable Characters** The narrative is shallow, predictable, and filled with clichés. The characters lack depth and meaningful development, making it hard to care about their journey. Dialogue is stiff, often feeling like an afterthought rather than a carefully crafted script. Worse yet, the game's attempt to blend historical accuracy with the Assassin-Templar conflict feels forced and uninspired, making the entire experience dull. **Repetitive and Uninspired Gameplay** The combat system, despite minor improvements, remains frustratingly predictable. Enemy AI is laughably bad, following rigid patterns that make encounters feel robotic. Stealth, a supposed core element of the franchise, is inconsistent and uninventive, making sneaking around feel more like a chore than a rewarding challenge. The world is bloated with meaningless collectibles and repetitive side quests, bringing back the worst aspects of Ubisoft's open-world design. **Technical Disaster** The game’s performance is a nightmare. Frequent crashes, game-breaking bugs, and horrendous frame drops make it nearly unplayable at times. Cutscenes are locked at 30 FPS, leading to jarring visual inconsistencies, and the lip-sync issues—especially with the Japanese voice acting—are outright embarrassing. For a game released in 2025, this level of technical incompetence is unacceptable. **Greedy Monetization Ruins Progression** Ubisoft’s obsession with microtransactions has reached absurd levels. XP boosters, cosmetics, and other in-game purchases are aggressively pushed, making progression feel intentionally sluggish unless you’re willing to spend extra cash. For a single-player game, this level of monetization is outright insulting. **Final Verdict: A Complete Waste of Time** "Assassin’s Creed Shadows" is one of the worst entries in the franchise, failing in almost every aspect. The weak storytelling, broken gameplay, technical issues, and Ubisoft’s predatory monetization make it an experience not worth your time or money. Even die-hard fans of the series should skip this one.

Unfortunately the game is broken this year. In the problems that already existed, some extra brand new bugs have arived. How is it possible a 90kg, 190cm player has the same strength (or less, LOOOOOL) with a 55kg, 168cm player. It’s impossible. The games is full of bugs and glitches.
You better buy something else. You should buy a game that can distinguish the unreasonable and irregular with the natural and normal. Go provoke, go broke :))))

It’s a game for the gamers! It demands loyalty and devotion. If you complete it, it will give you an enormous reward. If you can’t complete it, you shouldn’t even start it. Miyazaki brought us another perfection at the level designing, a superior lore and a delightful gameplay. But Miyazaki’s achievement isn’t that he gave as a masterpiece. His achievement is that it’s the 5th masterpiece we play because of him. We can’t wait for the 6th (Elden Ring).

It's a broken game right now (November 2022). It crashes on every rally at career mode. PS3 graphics.
Huge variety of stages and cars. Nice feeling of the car. Still unplayable due to crashes.
