I'm so happy my friends without a PS3 can finally enjoy one of the best games of all time. If you like turn based games, you should have already downloaded it, this is the most beautiful, smart and unique turn based experience you've ever had. I really wonder why there never was a follow-up or at least why with all the turn based games coming out lately, no one has "borrowed" this game's gameplay.

Every person that likes RPGs and thought-provoking games in general, should say a HUGE thank you to Larian studios for setting the bar so high! Kickstarter games of the genre must now compare to this masterpiece and not be content with "good for a kickstarter game" status.

There's a lot of criticism on this game. Some is unjust and some is valid. If you like a game with a good story and nice tactical turn-based combat this is a game worth playing but not without its' shortcomings. Here's some silly critiscism: - The game has too much text. there's no such thing as too much text! - The game has terrible graphics Are you kidding me? Beautiful handcrafted graphics and very good animations for an indie game! - You can't save whenever you want Well, that's how games should be, there are consequences for doing mistakes! Dark Souls anyone? Here's some valid criticism: - The game is short - The story is linear and your decisions don't really matter - The game is too easy All of the above will be fixed with custom campaigns, so in the end there's pretty much nothing to whine about...

Dumbed down from the original? Maybe. Deeper and more thoughtful than most games of the market? DEFINETELY... Any player who enjoys games where thinking is involved has to love this little gem. It's not a remake, more of a re-imagining. A wonderful turn based game where every choice matters. A great showcase of what good turn based gameplay can be. ARE YOU LISTENING RPG GAME MAKERS? More fun than I had with any game this year...

Don't let the bad review fool you, it's always like that with fanboys. This year Pro Evo and Fifa each have their own merits. They're both good games. If you are like me and have been playing Pro evo and then went to fifa, now is a good year to give PES another chance. The manual runs and manual passing give the game a great uniqueness. Of course the animations are not even close to the perfection that is fifa, but gameplaywise this is a fantastic **** have at the same time assisted passes and manual passes with the press of a button and also manual runs for players not on the ball... Give it a try!

This game does little to escape RPG cliches as a story. In that respect it's nothing new - not meaning that the story is bad, it's just a little on the "I've heard all this before" side. The world is interesting and beautifully rendered! Nice to see different monsters with different tactics. The game's gameplay is really nice though...Although I'm a fan of old turn based RPGs I still enjoyed the fast paced action. In every level up you have something exciting to look forward to, like new moves and spells. All in all very well worth the play.
To people who complain about the camera: I decreased camera sensitivity and the camera pretty much never bothered me...

It's a shame that a wonderful and amazing game like this doesn't get nearly as much attention as so many uninteresting uninspired gorefests that crowd the market.
If you're tired of playing games where you are a tough macho gravelly voiced super-soldier walking in a straigh line shooting everything in sight, then give this game a go!
The characters are loveable, the humor is spot-on, the art direction and animations are top-notch for an indie adventure, and it's generally an all-round wonderful experience. PLAY THIS GAME!

I love how a very successful company like Rockstar took a risk with this fantastic game that FINALLY tries to do something different than "shoot everything on site" gameplay that is shoveled to us by all big gaming companies. It's so fresh to have a game that makes you use your wits and instincts a bit, and is about solving cases. Reminded me a bit of Phoenix Wright. Unfortunately I'm not sure if financially they will have the success they deserve. If my local store is anything to go by, I see returned copies on sale all the time, indicating to me that people are unwilling to leave their comfort mindless shooting zone and try something a little bit more engaging...

If you're willing to invest in a game, if you are willing to get **** in and truly engage with an RPG, this is the game for you. People who have scored this game low, either critics or users, have as main negative points:
-bugs (very few that are now fixed with the patch)
-difficulty in battles (that's one of the games biggest strengths for people who want a challenging strategic battle instead of a button-mash)
-Bad UI (I'll give them a little point there - it's not bad, but could be better) So please ignore them, and support a game developer that is truly passionate about creating quality games.

This is what games should be like. This is a mature game, for those that really want to invest in a game and immerse in the storyline. If you're looking for an on-rails shooter just let this game go and go buy one of the 99% of boring same games out there. The storyline **** you in and is much more loyal to the 2 first amazing fallout games. Sure the graphics are dated, and there are the occasional bugs, but the game is challenging (especially in hardcore mode) interesting and keeps you coming for more. And finally it's an RPG whose storyline is not: The end is coming (the blight, the horde, the dark forces or whatever) and you're the one who has to stop it...There's an original story with much more complex and interesting elements. If what I mentioned above is what you're looking for in a game, go get it RIGHT NOW
