As a casual fan of the Gran Turismo series since the original dropped onto the PS1 back in the 90's, I'm surprised to find the latest in the series is getting more hours of playtime out of me than any previous entry. The VR aspect to GT Sport has added an awesome new dimension to the series. Now when I'm rewarded a new car, it's so much more of a big deal, since I can walk round the car in the VR viewer, admiring the beautiful designs as if these vehicles were right in front of me. The cycle of gameplay is: race cars in 2D, earn money and daily gift car, go into VR to admire recently acquired cars and then take them for a test drive. Rinse and repeat. I'm totally hooked on this routine. The graphics, sound, music and presentation are all pristine too. In summary GT Sport maintains the high standards of the series and the VR implementation takes it to a whole new level.

There's not a lot of variety to the gameplay and you are confined to one location, however controlling the weather and looking down on the landscape as it changes is a pretty magical experience.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X in VR is Quietly (and Cutely) Revolutionary There are already a few musical experiences available for PSVR such as Joshua Bell, Chainsmokers: Paris, Kygo and Harmonix Music VR. The Hatsune Miku VR experiences are arguably the best of them all. Project Diva X in VR essentially gives you the chance to edit your own version of a Hatsune Miku live performance or music video and then experience it in person. There are 30 songs to unlock, along with 30 unique locations ranging from dystopian cityscapes to futuristic concert stages. Each location features unique special effects that you can deploy as you choose in the concert editor, allowing you to curate your own virtual musical experience. • The graphics are sensational in VR, the beautifully animated choreography is massively enhanced by the120fps frame rate. • The songs are catchy, well crafted and surprisingly diverse in terms of sound palette, encompassing elements of pop, electronica and rock ("Ai-Dee" and "Even a Kunoichi Needs Love" are my favourites.) • The costumes are amazing too, being highly detailed and creatively designed. Each of the six singers has a comprehensive wardrobe unique to them. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X is recommended to anyone who's looking for high quality VR experiences and any music fans who wants to see what the future of pop might look like. And if you're an existing Hatsune Miku fan, you owe it to yourself to try out the VR experience. Stunning.

This is a game where the less you know about it before playing it the more revelatory the experience will be. For that reason I'm not going to go into detail about the contents of the game, except to say its unique, amusing, wise, cosmic and very much worth your attention.

An underrated gem, Harmonix Music VR offers PSVR users the chance to draw in virtual space or take a trip into a kaleidoscopic music visualizer. While I would have liked more modes or options to play with, everything here is executed well, especially the easel mode (painting virtually is a stunning experience and so much fun). If you're creative, enjoy psychedelic visuals or want a cool virtual environment to chill out in while listening to music, then this game is definitely recommended.

I heart this game and it may have overtaken SYNSO 2: Squid Harder as my favourite sensory shooter. Ultra sharp and ultra smooth, the visuals sing in VR and the playability factor just keeps on getting better the more you play. Awesome game design, great music and each level is distinct. I really dig the idiosyncratic touches too, like the "Thank you" you hear when you shoot certain things. The only criticism I can think of is the sound effect when you fly into a wall on a couple of levels is a little harsh on my ears, but hey, gives me an incentive to play better. This is one of my favourite VR games and I hope the creators make more. Praise cattle!

It's okay, but didn't really do justice to the idea of space travel. I felt the launch sequence should have been more exciting to experience. I appreciated the educational value , such as the use of genuine voice recordings and accurate modelling, but felt the production values were below what they should have been and some sequences could have been portrayed more imaginatively. The music was also really cliched. Other games such as Eve Valkyrie and COD: Jackal Assault give a much better feeling of being in space. Not terrible by any means, but as someone who's quite interested in astronomy, it didn't quite wow me as much as I'd hoped.

A beautifully crafted game. Every Gnog is adorable and full of surprises. The colours are masterful, the music delightful and it works amazingly well in VR. The video game equivalent of haute cuisine.

An already great game becomes a reality bending future classic in VR. The art and ambition on display here -from the graceful ballet movement of the lead character to the psychologically heavy Jackson Pollock-like flashbacks- is a revelation in virtual reality. Reminiscent of everything from MC Escher to Pans Labyrinth, Bound conjures up some beautiful and sometimes fearsome scenarios. The game play is great, but its the amazing world that will stay with you. Frequently I'd put the controller aside to gaze at the stunning landscapes. In my book its one of the most interesting games of this generation, both visually and thematically. There's a free demo available, so give it a try. Highly recommended, especially in PSVR.
