I would buy it again without hesitation! The whole world at your finger tips, they got it covered! very good for first release and can only get better from here.. plenty of places to go runway hopping.. They actually had a destination of a pasture this local guy of mine flies his old crop duster near the house.. was amazing to see.. thumbs up!

Enemy Front7
Jun 24, 2014
I personally have enjoyed every minute of the single player side of this game and for that alone would purchase it again. I played the game with DX11 although DX9 is also available. Graphics are very good and the WWII feeling is present. The houses and streets are filled with detail. You will enjoy a good 10 hours+ of entertainment going through the levels. I did play on expert/hard mode throughout the release and yes, the AI could have been a bit tougher. Overall, a fun romp thru time back in the day. It falls short on release with just a 12 player system based on 1 of the 12 hosting the game. But, they have released version 1.0 of a dedicated server file already and I am sure they will get it out there eventually with more features. This is a must for this title to thrive along with more Multiplayer levels to play. I will look forward to Enemy Front 2... That said, at a 24-30.00 buy **** single player alone was with that to "me".

Call of Duty: Ghosts8
Nov 8, 2013
Ghost Best in Series by far.. Haters gonna Hate... Uninformed computer illiterates will always blame game design over purchase of old tech they thought would last forever.. Buy a console if you cannot update your limped biscuit of a computer. BTW, new-gen consoles have 8 gig memory and 8 core cpu.. if you can't compete with a **** even try to play a PC game? If you like old-gen looks.. stick to a 360 or PS3 console so you don't whine about next-gen problems that will arise.. problem solved. These postings about limits are just plain stupid. 64 bit needs to expand further to expand games.. memory limits are going to rise to explore better features.. time marches on.. grow up already. For “me”.. This seems to be the “BEST” in the Call of Duty Series. There is so much new to examine while you still have the gameplay COD is known for. I like the features of “Squads” and find the multiplayer to work rather well even without dedicated servers. I would rather see dedicated servers to be honest, they should never had been moved to an after thought for PC players. Biggest mistake the franchise chose to do. Anyways.. The soldier build up is all new and works rather well. You now have a squad worth of soldiers that can also be leveled up and designed as you wish. Very interesting and look forward to more. Graphics are stunning when set to “Extra” and all seems to run pretty smooth for “me”. I didn’t buy the expansion pack “yet”.. but most likely will. I played Battlefield 4 for 5 days straight before this release. I have yet to load Battlefield since. People keep comparing the two titles although they do not play the same at all. Let us be honest here, they are both same old same old but refined for the better(we hope) each year. There are many ways to play these titles with known winning abilities in execution. I like ground pounding and COD offers that in spades. Battlefield is more of a Vehicle play although to me a bit arcade'ish in execution BF4 “defuse mode” is interesting and a take on Search and Destroy, my favorite type of play in these games. Ghost still has S&D buried inside, however they are toting a new twist with Search and Rescue which allows the possibility of revival from a team mate. I never warmed to Blackops or Blackops 2 nor would I suggest them to others. This title though? Single player and Multiplayer get my nod.. nicely done with no patches yet.. can only get better. Remember the minimum requirements folks.. you will need 6 gig of Memory to get this running on the PC.. I would also suggest a 660 or better graphics card.. don’t hate the game for this.. The bugs for “some” seem to do with graphics and the minimum ram requirement. I have neither or any bug that can relate to my system. The “only” bug I have seen is no mouse control left or right to change players you are spectating when dead in Search and Rescue games. I am sure they will fix that in a patch and does not really effect gameplay. I don’t really have an Uber system either. I5 2500k, 16 gig ram, GTX670 card and RAID HD to SSD. I call it a basic medium system and specs. Plenty of MP maps right at release and many ways to play. I have no choice but to like this game for what it is.. a winner. [GS] 8/10

Battlefield 47

Although the PC launch has been a bit “rocky” with servers going down and experiencing some hard lockups locally during multiplayer, I do enjoy ground pounding and the “defuse” mode. I see to many vehicle/aircraft swarms to really say I enjoy that part of the game. Ground pounding and trying to makeout the badguy is the best for “me”. I have somewhat enjoyed the very very linear campaign for “what it is” on hard mode. The AI is nothing to be proud of but the ocean swells are a nice feature. To “me”, nothing is more than a slight graphics mod over BF3 at this point. I like it, but not thrilled about it. [GS] 7/10

A different twist on Zombie games and the overhead view gives it a place among the overcrowded genre.. fairly good graphics and some nice animated kill moves on Zombies. With the wit of Kovac you will have a good time crafting your way to freedom. use a 360 controller for best effect..

Arma 31
Sep 22, 2013
Pros: I will give the game a 1 for the actual idea of such a large sandbox arena for combat. Cons: Everything else but the idea.. it just lacks on sooo many levels since the early days. Yet I am still a fan.. but when you have noticed through the years that it is not getting any better.. excuses get old.. and so has this series.

**** looks pretty.. the tracks are nice... that is all I can "honestly" say about this title.. They dropped the ball big time on this one.. LAG LAG LAG.. the whole Multiplayer is screwed in this title.. very poor performance.. no ping limiter.. you will be hard pressed to get 5 people to go around the track 2 times without LAG! A MONTH after the first MP race weekend.. There is a “second” Beta running that suppose to fix some issues.. nothing is mentioned in steam forums as to what and when this will happen. You would think a company that makes games would know how to update their **** broken as it is.. I assume they will add some steam server list thing and nothing else for multiplayer. The whole title is just an assumption at this point. disgraceful... buyer beware...

Euro Truck Simulator 28
Jul 13, 2013
It actually has the feel of a truck almost.. Logitech DFGT wheel works fine in this game.. 150.00 usa new about 50-75.00 used on ebay usa..I assume equal value or less in uk.. Euro truck also allows you to combine controls.. I use my Saitek rudder pedals (saves room under desk with just one set for both sim types) as brake and gas while using the DFGT to drive.. stick shift works fine for forward reverse and no clutch really needed as the trans is synced as in real life.. Truck drivers use a clutch rarely while shifting thru the gears.. mainly at lights and to go into reverse.. oh and TrackIR is something else to look into.. works fine here as **** game is also very moddable.. The onscreen navigator/GPS will have you owning the roads in no time. The graphics pull you into this one.. it looks very nice. I drove a lot of USA Volvo trucks in my day and the interior although different than USA im sure..does have that layout and feel.. the mirror system works great as does the synced transmissions.. I found myself down shifting and using the mirrors like real life within minutes..backing to hook and unhook with total mirror control.. was very close to the real deal.. trust me.. I know.. Besides the work for hire mode, you can also start your own company while hiring other drivers to work for you. Although there is much variety and views… at some point the countryside may seem like the same old thing after a bit.. but to tell the truth.. once you hook and get down the road.. they all look like the same old thing more times than not… so acceptable for this type sim, if not demanded…Time is not Real life timed and again trust me.. you will appreciate that. There is a fatigue and miles capable of driving per your experience level. This is a very good thing.. a log book would be another nice feature.. maybe I missed it.. but by law is required at least on this side of the pond. Which keeps up with hours driven and locations. You can legally drive for only so long.. and sleep is another law. Don’t complain about the AI traffic jams because again.. traffic happens.. and more times than not. it’s pretty close to life… and much better than I would have ever expected.. the rain on the windshields works great as does night driving.. They have a nice Music system allowing for your personal mp3′s etc set into a folder for game play along with “steaming” internet music. Although I would like to see a CB simulator added along with maybe a LTL delivery system put into play as well as multiplayer added just for road fun.. Additional thoughts would be to add some deer and animal jump outs across the roads.. and tire recaps on roads (alligators) as it happens and some of the more accidental problems of road drivers.. A walk around at rest areas so the driver can inspect his unit and kick the tires.. also happens.. on a two hour schedule if you’re a smart driver.. for what you get… its very well done and worth the buy in..[GS] 8/10

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 27

NOW we got us a Sniper game with the additon of Siberian Strike DLC!! “IF” only CI waited the extra month and released all this together at 39.99 they would have scored much higher on reviews.. some may have reached 80/100!! I am quite content with the performance and their ability to listen to the community with the additon of hardcore and a few more Multiplayer maps! The new Campaign now makes the game feel complete and a very well done campaign mission! So for the 40 bucks, which is under the cost of most triple A titles you get two missions in single player, 4 multiplayer maps and easy and hardcore modes… that is a game worth playing.. although dedicated servers would also be a big PLUS!! Obviously “Management” failed with the early release.. this team is “very” capable of making a good game and great looking scenarios! Now if they would only offer the “dismemberment” as DLC to areas capable of using it… sigh.. Thanks for the continued support CI… hope to see it continue!

Granted, the release has bugs and the Steam version is delayed using the 1.61 patch to get to the servers. Once you setup controls and play a few rounds the program seems to settle down and we finally get to the game. The game is the BEST WWII Tank Battle game out there! Nothing can touch this for World War two type tactics and Battlefield views. They did a wonderful job on the MAPS. Modeling when on High makes these steel beast come to life. Push and hook for Pak guns! Refuel, Mechanized and Motorized Infantry. This has captured all of the Arma series pluses and dropped it right in the middle of WWII! Running a tank server for Darkest Hour mod for a full year and always full, Most in the TS channel would remark with hopes of even larger battlefields with the ease of tank controls in the future. This title has succeeded in those expectations. Very immerse and very entertaining once you get you head wrapped around it. Patches and improvements will be forth coming and the MOD community will be releasing scenarios for YEARS to come. NICE JOB GUYS!!

The start of the money pit... get out those wallets.. Actually, the other Islands have more to explore. I don't know if I would be buying many packs in the future though.. price has to really drop.. I purchased the extra planes too... forget the P51..very boring without **** even at only 5-6 bucks. The Maule is the most challenging to fly and worth it probably. The Van RV-6 is ok..

Runs great, looks great and puts a smile on my face. I tried the Fallout series and sorry to say they seemed a bit "slow" and clunky for me. This is what I expected of the FO Series. You have a way to move around a bit better in this one and although a bit over the top, the badguys seem to work out well in this. Come On..they are the makers of DoOM!.. I enjoyed finding the secret rooms and replay is a plus. They could have had a 10/10 just by adding a 16 player deathmatch to this roaming the whole map! ofcourse 64 player would be even better..:) Nice job ID..look forward to more patches and dlc for this one.. enjoyed it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 33

This franchise is a total disgrace from it's roots. After COD 4 it has gone straight down hill. This use to be the best modable game for FPS shooters.. it's now no skills needed run and gun and die on the smallest maps you ever seen.. terrible DLC looking games being released as FULL over priced games on a yearly basis. They need to fire the whole lot and get back to what made the series popular.. community mods and servers with actual content and cutting edge additions. You can sell ferilizer all day at the flower shop markets..looks like fertilizer is now sold daily in the video game market as well. Wait a few years and see if they return to their senses.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad5

Tripwire started this one on shakey ground! With the quick patches it is now a pretty solid winner in the WWII era of FPS games. Maps are just wonderful in looks and balance. The Tanks are a shining example of good vehicle modeling within the tripwire franchise. We need more Tank maps! This game is really just for Multiplayer and can prove very challenging online. You have to work as a team and end the thoughts of lone wolf. The added feature of Tripwire games is the SDK and mod tools long gone in all the "top" named companies. This game will last a lifetime with mods, maps and community additions. Already two or three third party mods are coming into focus. Your money is well spent on this game and the gameplay is at the top of the ladder! Best in class for online FPS games!

Battlefield 38

I must say BF3 has come through with a very good update from BF2.. The first Campaign game I enjoyed without feeling a repetitive play time although a bit short. Online multiplayer has some choke point maps but overall a very well executed game. My only complaint is installation with Active X plugins and way to many stats that will be exploited and ruined. Graphics are amazing and online seems true to pings. The flying machines could be refined a bit for a better feel of flight. Alot of the statics in the game you have seen before but overall, the 2nd best FPS game out there at the moment. Best in class for modern warfare.
