Anthem is amazing. Just remember this is the internet and lazy YouTubers are using negativity as an easy job. Trolls, they are like used car salesmen... they'll say whatever hooks you. Massive controversy over a hyped game? Don't think for a second they'd write calm, smart and well thought out reviews, no one clicks on that. Is there hype? Then someone is going to cut it down. The new Wonderboy game scored an 87, another retro side scroller. Anthem is less **** than that?? Give me a break. If you want to like Anthem you'll like it. There's so much good with some bad, it's your mental state of mind that will dictate what you focus on. This gaming age is the age of trolls. Trolling for dollars. Why would you trust anyone's clickbait fabricated opinion.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Are good. I'm not interested in car games so true to life that I'm going to drive my Corvette into a wall every time I have to turn at 20+MPH. So NFD has always kinda been my racer of choice. But this one feels a bit better. Looks polished, although not so next-gen (I don't know if that's a complaint about my first foray into PS4 or this game). Controls son't take long to get the hang of and in my 2nd hour i'm drifting the length of every tuen and have traded in the brake for the Jake. The best part is that "oh ****" feeling when your heat is up, and you're sitting on 100,000 SP and some real-world player in a Lambo cop car comes flying off a side street and you know the only way you're going to get to a safe house and bank your points is by the skin of your teeth! Cruising the streets effortlessly with real world players is quite engrossing. Great fun so far!

I've never seen the Trolls so organized! Is this the beginning of the end for user reviews? A critical flaw for Metacritic... I'm saving my endearing review for 1up, who'll screen. This is clearly in the top 5 video games of all time. Minor flaws, who cares. So does your wife.

Most insane trolling ever! Wow! This is interesting to behold. All these people who bought the game on day one and obviously enjoy the COD formula are stupid enough in their anonymity to give the game a 0... which is a score you'd give a game you have zero desire to ever play again. Funny! You guys are losers ;)

I hate the Beatles, but who would credit me anything for scoring Abbey Road 1 or 0 out of 10? I Just don't review it. Games should be reviewed by people who expect to like them, as the reviews are almost exclusively used by people who are interested in buying said game. DWG3 is certainly not for everybody. It's hack and slash anime otaku all the way through for many many hours (60 so far for me, almost platinum). But if you like Dynasty Warriors and you like Gundam (come on, like it says right on the box) than you'll be very very happy with this game. With a ton of classic characters and even more mobile suits, hundreds of missions, awesome gundam sound effects and only a very few things to gripe about, assuming you knew what you were getting into (assuming you read the title on the package). Significantly improved from the first two DWG, this is the most time I've logged on a game since the heat of COD:BO's first days online, and it is well worth the price of admission.

Hysterical, who in the world who values their credibility would rate any form of Ocarina of Time with a zero? Definitely the guys impatiently anticipating a UFC release on 3DS. Hey trolls, what did you think of MGS2 and FFVII? Terrible right? How about that alternative fundamental math class in high school? Significantly harder than OoT, let me guess, you quit halfway? A rant is more worthwhile than a review here! Seriously, this is arguably the greatest (and not arguable in any way in the top two or three) video games. No qualifier there, just video games period... And it's been improved! Graphics are beauty and who wouldn't want to be able to slip it into your pocket on sleep to play briefly and very very often? The complaint can be made (the only one I see so far in the my 20th playthrough of OoT) Is the L button being compared to the Z trigger. That's hardware though, and that's looking for a criticism in a critique. 10/10 all the way, no doubt about it, this one never looses charm in any rehash, it's our heritage. Man oh man trolls, I forgot how much you ****.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II

Short and sweet, this is a 3DS port of the console Continuum Shift, and as far as ports go there ain't much better. Besides it's lack of sleep functionality (?) and no wireless fighting, there is no better way to hone your skills on the go for the big battle on PS3 or SexBox. As a 4 button fighter there are few-to-zero button configuration changes, and the little sprites may not be as high-res but are as detailed and supple as you could imagine them to be. Backgrounds are lacking compared to the console version but BB is fast enough for you to ignore it. I'd toted DOA as the premiere 3DS fighter but have traded it and SSFIV, one fighter is enough in my life and BlazBlue is it.

While the graphics aren't much of anything that couldn't be accomplished on the DS and the plot is pretty easy to anticipate, this is still the best launch title you can find for 3DS in my opinion, narrowly beating out SSFIV3D when vying fir my time. 3D is only really a boon to cover situations but the great mix of Fire Emblem and Valkyria Chronicles style gameplay makes every level interesting. again, the skill tree for each character has only a single route but it can be fun to load all your points onto you favorite character. As far as game games go this is the best you can buy on 3DS. Although I usually rush right through to the finish of games I got 26 hours out of this little gem. Well done.

Cutesy game for your kids, but adult gamers needn't apply. With virtually no challenge, just linear hand holding hand held gameplay, this will not keep you occupied for long. The graphics are indeed sharp, lightsaber sound effects are cool as ever, and using a light saber may have been enough to keep me playing... but character balance is brutal... if you have to switch to anything but a Jedi the game goes from lackluster to bad. This isn't really enough good enough to kill time between releases.

You want to to be a RR fanatic to enjoy this one. I can't believe people are claiming the graphics are spectacular... the polygons are tight but BRUTALLY pixelated. You race the same characters over and over and over and over and there aren't all that aren't many tracks, it starts to become work pretty soon. Drifting is the only thing that seems to unique from a point-and-race perspective, and other than that it's just boring racing. Over and over. No damage, no crashes, no real short-cuts, no happenings of any kind. Predetermined paint jobs in predetermined color schemes. I will now list the entire customization tree for all the cars: 3 stages of speed. That's it. Oh unless you count cycles the way your nitrous charges... while you drift. I know we don't get licensed cars in RR, but it would at least give us something to look forward to. The use of 3D is the biggest perk, but it's only because it's the racing genre, it works well with it, all the racing games will look as if you are advancing down the road. This is not as great a launch game as it's being heralded as, unless I am missing something RR fanatics have got.... It may be the 4th or 5th best launch title because of the lack of launch titles, but now that it's May, just buy Dream Trigger or Shadow Wars or SSFIV3D and wait for the NFS game to quell your racing needs. It is Lunacy that someone claimed these graphics are comparable to a PS3 game in an earlier review by the way, absolute craziness!

Dream Trigger 3D

I resent the poor review of this game, especially from the guy who obviously couldn't hack it and called 'defect' after one stage (your character is a butterfly on the first stage... but cycles through aiming reticules, stars, fish, and lots of different things that correlate with the enemies in said stage). Sure Dream Trigger is not easy... and the first time you play you will die while trying to get the hang of it... but what does jqm78 want a restart button for on a 2 minutes stage that you've failed? Ha! There are virtually no load times whatsoever in Dream Trigger so take me back to the menu all you want. Also, if you play video games as a hobby (which are the sort of hobbyists video games reviewers should be limited to) you'll pick it up as early as stage two. When things are calm you'll be able to spend the time monitoring the touch screen to find the most efficient way to reveal your enemies, but in frantic fights you'll have the hand-eye coordination and brain matter to send your sonar pings without looking at the touch screen in accordance with what's happening on the 3D screen. The enemies, be it cloaked or revealed, glow white before firing at you, giving away their location and letting you swipe your stylus (without looking if you're not jqm) and ping 'em. The world map mode is great for progress through an arcade game which could just be level after level. Mini-bosses are repetitive but the main bosses provide a little more of a challenge. Items are larger glowing mulit-colored triangles, so as long as you don't have jqm's eyes you will be able to distinguish them from the tiny red diamond shaped enemy projectiles. Of the 10 3DS games I've owned to this point this is 3rd only to SSIV3D and Shadow Wars. It's a nice change of pace from the fighting games we've been played and will be playing with DOA and BlazBlue. It's a well rounded smooth playing game that you should watch a gameplay video of first to see if it's something you're interested in... that will definitely give it away. Don't listen to the review that claims "It's just not fun" like the reviewer is the be-all-end-all of games. If you're interested in Dream Trigger, it will give you fun. If you're a supreme idiot, I suggest waiting for Spongebob. I give this game an 8.0, but I'm giving it 9 here because there are so few reviews and I'd like to offset the lacky's brutally uninformed bashing of it.
