Generally this dlc is good. Few new enemies, few new weapons. But a large part of locations is frustrating to play.

Do not bother yourself trying to play without tutorial. This game is good: characters, plot, writing. But unplayable without tutorial

Playable game even from todays perspective. Random generated dungeons pretty interesting to clear. But game not aged that well. Character controll is bad, mobs sometimes too hard too kill

Its not nearly deep as its described, I even say opposite, gameplay is absurdly flat, simple and random. Only game where save scum is really OK. Remaster made it even worse. This is too greedy

Good game even for todays perspective. Game has good balance which allows to comfortable game expirience on every difficulty level. Concept when game is divided into squence of levels, and after death player respawns at the begining of the level is surprisingly good. Game levels is not too large and not too small, and all of them is pretty challenging. Game has unique estetics, good gameplay dynamics and balance, but no interesting plot. Game is good, genious for its time. 72/100 - from todays perspective, 100/100 from historic perspective. Highly recommend for gamers with short time window for gaming sessions like me.

Review about not remastereed version 56/100 Not worth trying. This game created conflicting impression on me. A lot of things which is not part of actual game play pretty good. Here we have one of the best game antogonist, perfectly written and voice acted diaries, and interesting background lore. Antagonist is written so good that he has its own philosophy But when we are talking about actual gameplay, things are much worse. Level of absurd in quests are ridiculously high. Gameplay is boring and frustrating. Every ending is horribly naive and uninteresting.

[game finished on hard level] 78/100 - even from 2023 perspective Good shooter with pretty good sci-fi setting. Game aged well and despite it's release in 1998, game still playable and enjoyable. Sci-fi setting is not written flawlessly. Lore not flawless too. Gameplay sometime is being frustrating.

Perfect writing. Perfect soundtrack. Good rpg system. Unique, breathtaking plot, comparable to best movies/books. Mediocre gameplay and gamedesign. As a game it can be sometimes boring and irritating. Despite huge number of dialogue options, quests and game itself lack of endings and variability.
