Sid Meier's Civilization VI10
Mar 7, 2025
Civ 6 nailed deep strategic decision-making, player agency, and empire-building. Each game felt unique with meaningful choices in loyalty, great people, and diplomacy. The UI had quirks, but the depth of mechanics and emergent gameplay made it an endlessly replayable experience. A true evolution of the series.

Sid Meier's Civilization VII3
Mar 7, 2025
Civ 7 strips away core mechanics, reducing player agency and long-term strategy. Era resets feel arbitrary, UI is clunky, and core features like loyalty, religion, and great people are gutted or missing. While war and diplomacy improve, the overall experience feels hollow. The game lacks depth, persistency, and the magic that defined past Civs. Without its name, few would buy it.
