Seinfeld: Season 17
Apr 19, 2026
I personally prefer Curb Your Enthusiasm over Seinfeld, but It's nice to go back to the origins of Larry David and see where his humor began in terms of his big break. Jerry is a fun character, but it's Elaine and George who are the true MVPs of this show. Kramer is well, Kramer. The first season is very short - at least compared to the episode count of shows from yesteryear. For a show about nothing, there's a lot of nonsense, tomfoolery and ballyhoo - which is to be expected I suppose. It will be nice for the supporting characters and recurring guest stars (such as Jerry's parents) to be fleshed out more in the second season in terms of development. I will be watching and waiting.

2 Broke Girls: Season 16
Apr 5, 2026
This show is literally about 2 broke girl waitresses in some East **** part of Brooklyn, New York doing their best to scrounge some money to start a cupcake business. The chemistry between the two lead actresses is out of this world, and the supporting cast does grow on you (standout is Jennifer Coolidge) as the series goes on. The crude and sex-obsessed writing is pretty average and holy ****, there's a lot of stereotype jokes at the expense of the token Asian actor in the cast. Overall though, 2BG is still fun, notably if you want to watch some good old fashioned brainrot sitcom TV to ease the pain of reality away.

Abbott Elementary: Season 17
Apr 1, 2026
The Office in a school setting? Not quite, but decent comparison. Sure, there's a few glaring similarities and parelles between that iconic mockunmentry show and Abbott Elementry (largely due to the will they/won't they shipping of Quinta Brunson's Jeannie and Tyler James Williams' Gregory, but the latter certainly feels tonally like the old fashioned sitcoms of yesterday, yet still manages to stay fresh and new. My favourite episode was 'Desking' because it really showed the esemble can shine when they're all equally featured. Looking forward to season 2.

The Diplomat (2023): Season 36

As a few other readers have already commented, season 3 is defintelty a drop in quality compared to the good first season and the great second season. The storylines were also muddled with outlandish soap opera-like plot lines and obessively-romantic writing that I thought I was watching an episode of Bridgerton. I sincerely hope season 4 returns to the glory days of high-thriller espionage mixed with Kate Wyler's messy hair - drop the romance.

The Diplomat (2023): Season 28
Jan 18, 2026
The tone has evened out and the stakes were raised higher in season 2. While great, and certainly an improvement on season 1, there were a few moments that boarded on this show turning into a political soap opera with cliffhangers ending almost every episode. Overall though, the conspiracy was enthralling and left you wanting more.

South Park: Season 16
Jan 17, 2026
It''s an interesting first season with perfect episodes and not so perfect ones, so a mixed bag at the end of the day. Highlights were the Halloween episode as well as the Volcano one. The most disapointing story was the Big Gay Al ep. Overall though, while the quality was up and down, there were still more better stories than worse.

The Diplomat (2023): Season 17

Tonally, it's a different type of political drama to what you may be used to or what you were expecting, so it does take a moment (or two) to wrap your head around this type of world and these particular characters but once you do, it's an intesting and immersive enough of a show to watch.
