Elf-Healer

The film with a charming views, excellent cinematography and sweet and young praiseworthy noble characters. It's really refreshing to see such a beautiful, sometimes flirty, sometimes a little heartbreaking, but overall light-hearted story in a 19th century setting.

Now with the release of The Last Jedi the first part of the so-called "Modern trilogy" makes even less sense. The excitement of finding map which leads to Luke just vanished, and the beginnings of Rey and Finn are now useless as this characters, according to The Last Jedi, serve just as a bland fillers. Still, The Force Awakens is promising attempt, if you just divide it from its sequel. Not because a lot of original characters appear as a beautiful nostalgia moment, but because it has quite consisted plot and is full of mysteries, which, unfortunately, will never find their passion in the 8th installment. Jedi are dead, and now you can see the emptiness of hope of the 7th episode in its full scale.

"Force...", "balance..." - repeats Luke to his new apprentice with all of this Star Wars pathos. Are you serious? I can see Disney's devilish smile while taking money from this enormously overestimated series, turned into a bland soap-opera without any philosophy and emotional connections. It's a shame that Princess Leia got such messy and lukewarm goodbye which "The Last Jedi" is. It seems that no one really cared about origins of force, just trying to get rid of all the old characters instead (while still making money mostly for having the actors from original trilogy). But the most irritating thing is that the new ground and all the new characters have nothing new to add or explain.
