I bought the Redux bundle of this title with 2033 discounted on Steam, because the reviews are very good & I thought it looked liked the Fallout series. However, after 2 hours of game play I still can't figure out what I'm supposed to do. The character controls keep turning on & off (sometimes the character can no longer jump or run, or access weapons.) Sometimes the character moves of it's own accord as all controls functions are disconnected from the player. Sometimes weapons are changed for no apparent reason. I feel like I'm involved in a walkthrough, with occasional partial control of a character. There is zero option for thinking in this game. The environment is controlled so one cannot explore or move around freely. I really have little idea what this game is about. There's so little interaction between myself & the character I have partial control over that I cannot remotely get immersed. There is occasional action which is usually gunfire, but I just end up randomly shooting anything in site that moves since I don't know what I'm supposed to be achieving, & cannot tell what is or is not an enemy. I think the game is over-priced, since it's only partially a game. It's mostly a kind of interactive movie. I am disappointed that I paid £16.99 for this & 2033, & that at half price. After 2 hours of trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do, I've resigned to the fact that I'll have to be told by a voice all the way through the game what I have to do all of the time. This is very childish. So utterly bored I won't even bother with trying 2033. A total waste of money. My 4 review points go totally to graphics which are okay.

This game is so bad I couldn't even force myself to play it. I've played Risk for over 30 years on a board. The graphics are awful, the gameplay isn't set to the original rules either. I found I could roll the dice as many times as I wanted when invading a territory, thus waiting until I rolled 3 high numbers which renedered me almost invincible. Worth 50p, and EA know it. They're milking gamers here with a totally sub-standard product. I will not buy any of their other current releases on Steam as I feel I've been burned.

This game is awful. The tutorial is far too brief. The gameplay is sluggish and antiquated. The controls feel unfinished. The graphics are very poor and glitchy. After 20 minutes of play I feel totally robbed of the premium price that I pre-paid for this game. Shameful.

Bad porting for controller on pc again. I have a disability in my right hand so need to use a gamepad to play.
The controlling I find so sluggish and lagging that I can barely hit the enemy. After 40 mins I managed to take out 4 **** lag is alot less with mouse....
Of course I checked all the usual culprits and everything's fine, my 360 works okay with most other games....another raw deal for pc gamepad players and a waste of £30. There is no excuse for this when other games get it right!!!
