The most unbalanced and untested thing Atlus has ever released. Embarassing. Every boss has 100% on any RNG based move (yes really). One of the ending fights is bugged and gets stuck in an endless loop that you cant win.

Honestly, this might be one of the most disappointing games I have ever experienced. If you want a game of easy ass enemies just standing there as you pump bullets into them, and yet die in less than 3 seconds to A BOAR , get this game. If you want something that feels like a bad flash game, get this game. It could have been a good game, it has good foundational concepts, but oh god. This is so unbalanced its literally unplayable.

This game has the worst input buffer I have ever seen in a game. That is, if you can even get it to run. (You have to delete your GPUshader cache AND the load their shader compilation file twice to even get it it not to crash with an AMD GPU, this is a fact) On top of it, the game is incredibly linear. The assets in the environments are very copy-pasty. There are invisible walls EVERYWHERE. This is just a bad version of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty without any of the game loop depth. And that game isnt even very good. Trust me on this.

Dont play this game now unless you want your souls to fall through the map and play a literally broken unfinished mess. Well playing through the whole game I can say what a dissapointment. Had potential, but its filled with bugs and the bosses **** mostly. A very very unpolished and unfinished Souls-Like that has themes of anti corporate greed. Well a bit too ironic for my taste eh? The controls are literally broken at the moment....charge attacks dont trigger reliably at all....very disappointing. There's 0 chance this is how they intend the final version of the controls and input queuing... I'll try doing a charge attack, about 20% of the time it will NOT trigger until I press something else, then it suddenly works again? Also the terrain. ...wow...youd think theyd make the camera work with the terrain at the VERY least **** and status effect meter is glitched. Even if you dodge the "frighten" status effect in one of the bosses, its glitches about75% of the time and doesn't register that you arent in the path of it. Very very poor. Im convinced it might be on purpose to pad out gameplay length as well for Steam numbers. Update: I'm far in the game and it is FAR WORSE than I imagined. This game isnt finished. Its filled with bugs, framerate drops, clipping, getting stuck, unpolished boss fights. update: THE LATEST PATCH NOTES ARE **** INSULTING. OVER 2 GIGS FOR 1 SPAWN ISSUE ADRESSED? NOTHING ELSE? WHAT DID YOU TAKE YOUR MILLIONS AMD RUN OFF TO GOON VACATION? FINISH YOUR GAME! OH AND PRAYA DUBIA IS THE WORST BOSS FIGHT IVE PLAYED IN MY 25 YEARS OF GAMING. CONGRATS.

I'm convinced...well I mean more than convinced since there are literally copy and pasted reviews for this game everywhere on steam (check for yourself. 0.1 play hours with copy and pasted reviews. Just check yourself.) ... that the reviews are very very inflated artificially for this game. Over 10k OVERWHELMINGLY positive reviews since DECEMBER? FOR THIS!? It looks like OG WoW graphically, and plays like watching paint dry if it was somehow based on **** RNG where the paint dries slower or quicker depending on the RNG. Its a below average city builder with "rogue lite (lol no)" mechanics. Ok. 10/10? What? WHERE DID THIS TEAM OF "6" PEOPLE COME FROM? WHO IS THIS DEV? WHY DID I GIVE THEM MONEY? And yes, I "understand the game". Whats there not to understand about gathering resources? The game is just MID. And the design and core mechanics are DUMB AND BORING.

This game starts out well, and is an excellent concept, and I think their next project has great potential if it improves upon this concept. The language puzzles are usually pretty entertaining for the most part. Unfortunately the pacing is drawn out to pad out game length, to the point you will bang your head against the wall. It's very clear to me in the end of this game that the only reason you cant have a run button or move faster is to pad out game length. There IS a form of fast travel, but its incredibly time consuming to find and use. Also, the latter half of the game just drops off in quality. The puzzles, gameplay, level design, it all gets less "smart" and clever, and just falls into smooth brained keypad code entering and fetching with LONG walks. Some lf the non-language based puzzles in this game are logically inconsistent as well, especially the light based one in the dark tunnel to reach one of the next areas. I honestly think that puzzle WILL be updated and fixed. Also, theres just quality of life stuff and little things that will make you mad, theres very little good to say about the ease of which you navigate the games menus and interactables, it works, but it just feels like it could be streamlined. Theres a lot here to like, but it's just such a slog to play in many aspects.

The worst case of an inventory management simulator I've seen. Period. All you do is walk back and forth fetching things, walking past the same copy and pasted enemies with the same copy pasted screech sound over and over while the developer does their absolute best to pad out the length of the game by abusing walking back and forth through all these samey looking hallways while you solve puzzles that were seemingly rejected from the Zero Escape series for being awful. Oh and the interact button doesnt respond correctly, which is immensely bad, and there are countless actual problems that absolutely need updating I've run into. The only redeeming thing is the art. The game also tries to be weird for no reason. It thinks other languages other than English are weird and edgy or something? Idk. I'm almost through the game, but man, I would avoid this slog. Its like if Soma was a badly made inventory management game.

Im playing on PS5. For context I've beaten every mainstream soulslike there is as well as some non mainstream ones. This game's gameplay is just not good, objectively. The platforming is extremely unresponsive, sometimes my inputs just get eaten completely. The hitboxes are unnaceptabley rough **** game is extremely boring and basically a walking simulator with bad platforming with massive input lag. The only thing good is the art and music. They carry the entire thing. Unfortunately, I was looking for a TIGHT GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE, with GOOD GAMEPLAY. I'm far into the game, farther than game critics go, obviously. Coming from a good platformer or souls-like, to this, you'll quit, because the controls are so imprecise, and the quality of life, balancing of RNG with the AI and environment, is non existant. There are countless people online with the same complaints. It's not just me. Atmosphere is fooling people into thinking this game is great, but it plays, very, very poorly when compared to other titles in the genre. When you look up each issue this game has, everyone agrees with the issues. The bad enemy AI, the unresponsive controls, the terrible RNG, the situations the game puts you in being completely unwinnable down to RNG. It's all accepted to be bad parts of this game. So HOW IS IT A 10? THERE ARE GAMES THAT DONT HAVE THESE ISSUES THAT HAVE FAR WORSE RATINGS. Mind. B o g g l i ng. Waste of time. Hugggee waste of time. This game wastes your time and doesnt care about the player's enjoyment at all. Fromsoft has more quality of life than this garbage.- i have 20 years of gaming under my belt, and this game just doesnt hold up. sorry.

A $60 price point for terrible janky boss animations and a combat system that isn't fleshed out in the slightest, is rather insulting. Wo Long blows it out of the water in terms of boss fights, and that game isnt even that good at the end of the day. The biggest offender is the "guard parry" skill, which just straight up has a window that doesnt exist in any real consistent and reliable sense. Its always better to perfect guard, but that still feels awful. The combat just doesnt feel good. Are we giving ACTION games good reviews because they look pretty? I dont. I can play the game just fine, I just really dont like how it feels at all. BOTTOM LINE, If you have things in the game, you gotta make sure they work. And the guard parry DOESNT.

Pros- cool bosses Cons- Game breaking bugs during combat. Sometimes the guage gets full to do a critical, and a glitches causes it to undo it. This is unacceptable, as it proves they rushed the game out without fixing major bugs. Parry timing inconsistent. Elemental weapon buff duration is far too short, almost as of it was never balanced. Enemy attack rng is literally unfair and unreadable, 2 red attacks in a row with no chance of parrying both. Serious balance issues. An entire aspect of the combat system, special effects, which are a super dumbed down version of special attacks from Nioh 2, becomes literally irrelevant and unusable partway through the game due to how open it leaves you to attacks. Boss fights last about 3 times longer than they should even at full fortitude. Serious downgrade to how weapons work overall vs Nioh 2. Dumbing down of the combat customization in comparison to Nioh 2. Boring generic characters. Boring nonexistent story. Controls and gameplay overall feel far to frantic and cluttered, the developers just said "make it like sekiro". While the game is more stable than sekiro by a wide margin, the rhythm and feel of the gameplay is somehow less polished and like an imitation. Level design is lacking on a level I did not think possible. Everything looks the same and I run in circles constantly. Just...I don't even know. Too many things to count. I had hope that they had learned from Nioh 2, but they DEVOLVED TO FURTHER DEGENERACY. After getting further into the game, the quality, especially in level design drops *dramatically*. Copy and pasted, linear, boring levels, that you MUST explore EVERY INCH of to PROGRESS. One of the WORST, LEAST ENJOYABlE souls likes ever, by far the most linear. Much better than Lies of P at least. Lol.

I can't believe how much of a boring, frustrating slog this is to play. If youre not scared by things going "REEEEEEE" then this is a boring walking sim in a poorly designed map with 3 colors as the pallete (that being grey, grey, and grey.) while you get stuck in a pickle lost with no landmarks or sense of direction. No good game design to be found, and just your run of the mill "cyborgzzzz. is AI hooman? Wut is hooman?" sci-fi hack job but you move slow l cus its under water. (Lol)

I am a PCars2 veteran. World records, top 10 at the nordschliefe, you name it. If you get this game, you literally have to change so many settings to stop the game from slowing you down (on purpose, the devs clearly wanted people to be discouraged). For example, there is a setting called "ECU" map. By default, on AGRESSIVE setup for the car, the ECU map is SET TO ITS NEARLY LOWEST SETTING. This means YOU WILL BE OBJECTIVELY SLOW AND LOSE TIME ON THE STRAIGHTS. I was thinking "why am i purple in the twisty sectors, but losing seconds on straight sections?" Well. There you gom the gatekeeping done by these devs is shocking. The setup menus have 0 explanation. The deafult setups ARE WRONG. Just objectively. Wrong. (If you know how damping and bumpstops work, the devs literally try to make it impossible to handle on purpose, as another layer of gatekeeping). To top it all off, the AI is non existant and ignores blue flags on a flying lap! Terrible! This isnt to mention the AWFUL UI. The worst I've seen on PS5. I'm not exaggerating. The game feels like it's barely holding together. It feeezes in very odd ways. Idk. Just avoid if you like sims, or actual next gen games.

A game made by people who dont understand cars, a game which that exists for money, it's progression system greedily designed to lure the player into buying a grind skip in the form of credits. A game where the AI crash into you, calling them AI is an insult to AI, as they do not have any coding other than sticking to the racing line and crashing into you no matter what. Anyone calling this a "simulator" is delusional. You can go flat out in a jeep, (yes a jeep) and pull the handbrake and never lift off the throttle. It's need for speed but pay to win. It feels awful to play too. No feedback that is of any use to a sim expert. For context I have world records in other sims...also some of the music is awful and you cant hear the engine revs by default over the music, so have fun doing manual transmissionwithout tweaking the settings, and even then, there's barely any settings to change. In fact, theres an INSULTINGLY low amount of tweaks you can do in this game. You cant even do something as mandatory for all other racers as to change the steering lock to 90°. I cannot believe the level to which this game is manipulated to waste your time and money. They spin you out through commands. I'm not joking. You'll just be driving, and if youre doing too well, they'll spin your car. No reason. Whether its the ai literally losing time in order to spin you out, or your suspension literally disappearing suddenly, whatever, the game SPINS YOU OUT THROUGH MANIPULATED CODE. I am a veteran sim racer. I know what a car is doing. I know what should and shouldnt happen. There are literally FORCE APPLICATIONS TO THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR BACK END LMAO. Bad events are scripted. Tire allocation is insultingly wrong. The AI are terribley coded. (So bad, theyl go out on a wet track in quali after setting a dry time LMAO) The races are all just ERS management to stay competitive (why would a team boss have to tell the drivers when to use the ERS every single lap????? Shockingly bad.) And not only that, but the drivers WONT EVEN DEPLOY ENERGY WHEN YOU TELL THEM TO. REGULARLY LEAVING HALF THE ALLOTED BATTERY PER LAP UNDEPLOYED. Idk what else i need to say. **** insulting representation of what F1 is. You will waste hours of your life, because your driver will always do something wrong, many times right at the end of the grand prix (almost every time, have fun with scripted events! Reload your save and it will still happen, 99% of the time), and its not like you can fast forward and do well. Your driver will *100%* of the time make mistakes when in fast forward mode. Drivers crash WAY too much. This is such a waste of time at the moment. And it NEEDS to be updated. At least make it so you can save mid race. Otherwise, this game is just rigged to make you pissed. Put sessions on simulation mode, and they'll waste all your tire options. Not only that, it's unbalanced! Finish 1 season, and even a Haas is fighting for regular race wins. Might as well start with Williams, next season youl be fighting for the championship regardless. The radio messages are repetitive and the people designing them dont even know what "option" means in regards to tires vs prime tires. You will be regularly losing time to your driver's ai getting all bugged out behind a slower car, meanwhile the rival ai overtakes them as they should. Theres so many other small issues. It is death by a thousand blows. And oh boy. Are there a lot of crappy blows.A serviceable game. But it needs A LOT of work. Im shocked at how consistently this game will go to lengths to make the player upset. You put points into control to stop your drivers from spinning. They still spin. Every race. Doesnt matter what you do to manage tire temp. They just spin. To piss you off. Its wayyyyyyy more than a F1 driver should spin. Theyd be fired irl. Its shockingly insulting to the skill they have in reality. And to add insult to insult - you cant handle contracts like in real life, you cant hire people for next season, only right away. Meaning youre firing drivers mid season. lOL

Objectively a terribly made game by people who just dont care. You have failed to make a racing game that functions when you can be faster in every braking zone, and corner, but the ai and the people at the top of the leaderboards just pass you on the straight, because they have some trick exploit setup gearbox that the ingame engineers will NEVER get you. Not to mention the handling is literal trash. It's as of the developers have never touched a brake in their **** realize braking systems arent this bad...right? Engineers study their whole lives to develop machines at the limit of technology. And the idiots at this studio INSULT them with POOR performing machines. For context I can REGULARLY get laps of 135 mph on Isle of Man 2. I know how to take a racing line. I know what the braking zones are. This is literally. One of the worst handling models i have EVER seen. Congrats, you no talent developers just trying to make a chashgrab. Youve made a poorly designed product that sim racers with skill cant even play. This game lures you in with its shiny exterior and great atmosphere, then it hits you with frustration that will leave you dumbfounded as to how this game passed QA tests, (if there were any on the scale that is neccessary to balance a game, which is doubtful.) I made it far into this game, through tough boss battles, winding labyrinths, and great environments you can tell were made with care. Unfortunately, when you do find your way to boss battles, or any tough enemy for that matter, you are met with a clunky shell of a souls-like that can only be described as an embarrassment to the developers who made the combat. The combat mechanics, AI, and hitboxes hurt this otherwise great game with many options given to the player to play their way. Playing your way will stop as soon as you time a perfect dodge only to have a boss's weapon follow you like a bullet in the movie "wanted" in a shining example of a lack of "intelligence" in the coding for their AI. Fun will stop as soon as you happen upon 3 enemies in a room only to find they wont let you get up after getting hit *once*, resulting in you losing all of your health and your metal scrap "souls", as you daydream about the souls-likes that could handle a similar situation so much better. All of this wrapped in a story that I can tell the ending of from a mile away, since the story is a rehashed narrative we've all seen in games. One of unwitting misdirection and ultimate betrayal, not unlike the feeling of spending money on this game after seeing a beautiful shell, only to find an empty husk of frustration. (I'm guessing my predictions on the story are correct as seeing the very end is not something I plan on doing, even though I feel I'm near the end, unlike better games such as Nioh, which although flawed in its own ways, is beatable without getting nearly as many problems as this game, and leaves you wanting more.)
