This is the best Mafia game I’ve played so far. While it’s not a true open-world game, the level of detail and visual presentation are impressive and genuinely immersive. The environments feel alive, and the overall atmosphere fits the era perfectly. The gameplay structure is mostly mission-based, with Tommy traveling to different parts of the city to carry out objectives. Yes, it can feel repetitive at times, but it never became a deal-breaker for me. The missions are well-paced enough to stay engaging. Vehicle handling is solid and enjoyable, especially for a game that values realism. One detail I really loved is how the police actively enforce traffic laws — getting fined for speeding or running lights adds a layer of immersion that most games ignore. As for the story, it’s neither amazing nor bad. It depends heavily on personal taste. For me, it sits somewhere in the middle: serviceable, coherent, and fitting for the game, but not something that left a huge emotional impact. Overall, this is a well-crafted Mafia experience with strong atmosphere, great attention to detail, and grounded gameplay. Even without a fully open world, it succeeds at what it sets out to do.
