Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 52
Jun 16, 2016
This game is an example of what will happen when Publishers decide that they not only want to manipulate peoples soft spots and nostalgia for a huge series like Pro Skater that hasn't gotten a sequel in years, and try to turn this nostalgia factor into pure revenue. This idea, just as well, would be if the developers/Publishers decided to skip BUG TESTING. THERE IS SO MANY BUGS IN THIS GAME, THAT I WOULD BE SURPRISED IF ANY OF THE DEVELOPERS OR PUBLISHERS TESTED MORE THAN THE BASIC FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS AT ALL.

The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon (2008)5
Jun 13, 2016
The fate **** when placed under the wing of Activision. They turned the game into a joke, just a mindless massive action sequence. The only thing it had going for it was the attention to map design and detail, as well as the idea of armor that amplifies Spyro and Cinder. I'd also have to commend the idea of having Spyro go from a single player only to two player for the first time in the series.

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly7
Jun 13, 2016
The game itself is lacking compared to the other traditional Spyro games. That being said, the main soundtrack composer Stewart Copeland still stayed with the series, and made the music for this game. needless to say, the music itself is great, just not the game

Cro-Mag Rally: Online Racing!6

While the first release of this game was decent in the early 2000's, the iOS version of this game keeps its same dated routes and coding. Nothing has changed, it's exactly like the original, just a more updated menu and selection screen. Not to say it's bad, but it could have been better.

Shadow of the Beast8

I'm not quite seeing the reasoning behind reviewers. Most of the negatives this game holds feel snarky and out of line. The game is a spiritual succession to the original Shadow of the Beast series back in 1989, and I feel with the 20$ price tag and the measly six developers working on the game, it's a fantastic continuation of the series. The budget was small, especially for a new company, and they still managed to get the original sound produced from the classic game to compose music on this new version of the game. It's gameplay tide for platforming seems like Rayman but with a God of War sense of gritty brutality. The executions you perform always feel satisfying, and pressing the Square attack button at the right time always gives the player a rewarding feeling. The different varieties the player has as the Beast to combat the enemies of the games world always makes you perceive that the approach you just took at that specific foe seem like it couldn't have been done better. All of this being said, I have to say that the concept of death feels extremely obnoxious when you have to waste an elixer or a soul if you "die", or you start from the beginning of the level. Most of the times I died, I felt like I was cheated. Especially when important moves like siphoning life from an enemy takes too much time for the attack to charge, leaving yourself open for an enemy to throw a basic swing without any retaliation from the player. That all being said, you will find yourself deterred from the action to get a look at the breath taking atmosphere and environment you tread or see from afar. The developers truly preserved the stellar, out of this world vibe that Roger Dean envisioned for the original Shadow of the Beast. All of that being said, I feel that based off of what the resources were for this game, the developers couldn't have done better. It's a great game, and it has the same difficulty vibe that the classic Commodore Amiga Shadow of the Beast game had. Psygnosis would be proud that the developers of this successor took such a great advantage of the resources provided.

Fallout 48

Fallout 4 is a great game, and surprisingly better with friends nearby. I don't know what's with all these crummy negative reviews saying it's not like New Vegas, that game in itself is the worst Fallout game ever made, not to say it's bad. It's just the worst. All the NPC's are much more lifelike, especially the ghouls, the weapon customization is vast, as well as the power armor modding. This game is definitely worth getting. If comments you read about this game are negative reviews that wine about Fallout 4 not being like New Vegas, just don't bother reading them any longer.
