Metroid prime 4 beyond hate is MASSIVELY overblown, but does have genuine gripes I will get to later, first the positives. the gameplay is really fun, it feels like an evolution of the prime 3 shooting, and it shows from the polish it has in the shooting department, and the puzzles can be a bit simple sometimes but are still fun the music, oh the music, don't let anybody tell you the devs didn't care about the prime series because the score is **** epic and you can hear familiar jingles from the previous games and it is amazing. the characters(yeah yeah boo me all you want I've heard it all before) they are not only realistic but they are in fact endearing, and nice to interact with in my opinion, and even if you dislike them the solution is painfully easy, you can turn off voices and subtitles, it's that simple and such a non issue that's overblown to the high heavens. the difficulty is in a sweet spot in being better balanced than prime 1 with a lack of being able to cheese things,but not as hard as prime 2, it can be a bit easy if you are a series veteran but it's still enjoyable and the bosses are wonderful. I have come across exactly zero frame drops or glitches, I am on a switch lite with this thing so I'd probably be the first to find such things I rather enjoyed the story, for reasons I will not get into I urge you to 100 % it as well and the scan descriptions of things was really nice to read through and the upgrades are fun to play around with, having a power bomb ready in advance and yeeting it at a room full of enemies never gets old the negatives....... the desert is just padding it feels like they didn't know what to do with it, I wish there was more to do with it, I want more content in it but there are so few things to do in it it's just padding I wish was actually fleshed out because the bike is fun to drive and the concept has **** just needed to be fleshed out, contrary to popular belief music does play on the bike during normal play it's just a droning atmospheric track that is easy to forget is there with the bike noises going on, the amiibo only unlocks the ability to change the music that plays, enemy variety is low, you'll come across slightly different versions of the same enemies way too much. the linearity of the game conflicts with both the fake open world crap they glued on top of the game which ****, I wanted to explore the world more and see more of these levels than I was allowed to. the game is the shortest prime game, prime 1 which I play religiously and know in and out of how to deal with everything takes longer to beat by a lot. I understand if some think this is a step down, in some ways it is, I won't lie and say it's perfect but it's absolutely not as bad as some people make it out to be, if you like shooters in any capacity you'll enjoy this. on the contrary if you like Metroid games for exploration and think the shooting is SECONDARY and not even that important, you'll likely feel underwhelmed. I personally like it, and that's why, this game has an 8/10 for me. it's not as good as 1 or 3, and about on par with prime hunters, but it is better than prime 2. feel free to crucify me, but if Metroid prime 4 beyond is trash with no fans? than that means I am no longer alive

I got this as a kid, loved it but was bad at it, very bad, even as a teenager I couldn't beat it, not without cheats, idk why, but **** I can, the game is great, the campaigner was my roadblock before, but now? now I can beat the entire game. something clicked, I got kicked into high gear. the guns are great as always, it's cheap, and even cheaper when it goes on sale. if you want to revisit an old classic with a few touch ups, or want to see gaming history for the first time,I cannot recommend it enough, it's not perfect, but I adore it

yet another motorcycle racer obsessed with having the most realistic gameplay, the menu is ugly, the motorcycles handle like ****, and there are 0 redeeming qualities in this garbage ****

never play on ps4, it takes over 2 minutes to save. i'm not playing subnautica again for a whilemaybe never i had been, collecting upgrading and building ALL **** DAY dragging my cyclops down, so i can use my resources in it to build a base by that beautiful tree got the basics connected thermal power got my cyclops BACK UP past an ANGRY AND ANNOYING GHOST LEVI and back home THEN the real work started i got everything i got in the lost river pulled up and got the... prawn depth module the seamoth depth module 3 cyclops depth module 2 the perimeter defense for seamoth sonar for seamoth fire supression on cyclops and i was feeling good so i decided to do some work on my base i used my scanning room to track down enough resources to make my "alien containment chamber" 4 stories tall so they'd have enough room 3 extra multipurpuse rooms a crapton of glass another hallway to connect it all 3 more hatches and gathering a lot of other unrelated **** OH it was BEAUTIFUL i LOVED IT but guess what?as i was saving AS I WAS SAVING let me repeat again AS I WAS **** SAVING THE DAMN GAME it crashed i lost all that progress for no reason if you want Subnautica, get it on PC and install QOL mods, and so you'll be able to get EVERYTHING you had back even if you lose an entire day of progress

i had fun 3 times over the past 4 days of playing if getting good car parts takes 1 hr of grinding over HERE for money and an hour HERE for the PRIVELEGE of buying said parts.only to then see "OOPS now do exactly that, but for multiple days to get 300 thousand money and a **** of "rep" to redo your car's upgrade tree again but THIS TIME "better"THEN THE **** DON'T KNOW **** ABOUT AME DESIGN AND ONLY WANTED TO PAD THE RUN TIME oh ho ho but you don't have to do that one time that'd be too easyyou have to grind like that for 4 **** CARS EVEN MORE if you decide you wanna replace 1 i feel like i got ripped the **** offlike i paid to get kicked in the balls told to climb a mountain only to hear"nope, now go back down and do it 6 more times"i'm not grinding for weeks on end just to have a few good cars i can actually race withwhy tf can't you just **** keep upgrading higher, without being forced to pay obscene amounts for the ability to keep upgrading! and i heard the cops were hard, but they're really not, the difficulty is ARTIFICIAL, because there's a damage meter that you guessed it, goes down when you try to run the cops off the road, that's right, attacking the cops HURTS YOU, let me repeat, DEALING DAMAGE HURTS YOU.never have i seen such bs, imagine in an fps, you shoot an enemy but YOU die instead, imagine a platformer where killing an enemy kills you too, imagine an rpg, where taking any action against the enemy results in you losing 1 quarter of your health, if you're gonna just go"urm no attacking the cops is a no no so here you're gonna die now and lose everything you have" THEN DON'T PUT THE DAMN COPS IN THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE.next up, the soundtrack OH the soundtrack has to be the WORST i've ever heard in any game ever, this, is the first game, i've ever played, where I turn off the music completely and get spotify instead. in conclusion, the in game songs are horrible, the police chases are poorly designed and require **** mechanics to be hard in any fashion. the game is a horrible grind fest, and it's nowhere near as fun as LITERALLY any other racing game, **** PAYBACK was better than this ****

I would rather jump into a pit of snakes than play labyrinth and marble zone again on this trash, play it ANYWHERE else for your own sanity

Underrated gem, and deserving of far better legacy, the combat, the breaths, the story, everything, all amazing, though not for everyone it is one of my top favorites of all time cant recommend enough
