Incredible expansion, the best to this day. The story overall is incredible, the fight against the long-time threat of the Burning Legion feels real and impactful. The Broken Shore Intro is great, the level-up zones are beautiful even if too disconnected story-wise from the overall threat of the Legion, a prettied up and expanded Dalaran as a hub city was a great choice, Suramar and the story of the Nightborne and the rebellion you help with assisting Thalyssra was one of the most enjoyable things I ever did in an MMO, The Broken Shore as a questing area was fine and probably the low point of the expansion but then Argus was just fantastic overall. The Gameplay, content, class-design, dungeons, raids, worldquests, everything! Was just absolutely fantastic and made it a joy to play through the entire two year run-time of the expansion, there was always something to do, that even just slightly actually advanced your character in some slight way. Getting those Lore relevant revered weapons like the Ashbringer or bladed forged from Frostmournes shards was just incredible and the quests for most weapons were a joy to do. The music was just perfect, with there being so many variations of the Dalaran music that played in the city, all the music throughout the initial zones, the various tracks in Suramar, the many tracks for Argus... All of it was just fantastic. I can't praise Legion enough and i miss it. Legion was so good it makes it extra bitter what happened to WoW after it.

What a downgrade from Legion is every regard. The story is just rehashed Horde evil Alliance good crap with a side of old-god stuff, it feels schizophrenic. The potential of N'zoth and Azshara as villains is completely wasted in this expansion in such a way I can only guess the writers were drunk from too much alcohol in the office or got sick from all the breastmilk they stole and where hallucinating in some way from that. Kul'Tiras and it's regions are gorgeous with great world design and music to accentuate the experience, sadly most of the stories are not good. same with Zandalar.

It manages to **** on, retcon and ruin 30 years of story and lore it's a masterclass of its own in that regard. The gameplay was overly grindy and not friendly for people with real-life commitments. This is the expansion that killed the story of WoW in such a way that only a full retcon of the entire story of Shadowlands and anything leading up to it can fix it. Sadly Blizzard is too prideful even of this turd so that retcon likely never happens.

Gorgeous world design, great flight mechanic overhaul with Dragon/Skyriding but the gameplay/content is okay-ish at most and the story/lore is just boring and kinda **** as bad as Shadowlands which is a plus)

As a fan of the previous Dragon Age and someone who deeply loved the world, characters and the way many choices impacted(even if minor) the next entries, I can't recommend Veilguard. Veilguard feels like a mobile game in the worst ways, repetitive mind-boggling dull gameplay that is overly flashy, bland and contradictory writing, and garish cartoony character models. None of your choices from previous games matter in any meaningful or minor way(well, one has a very minor impact but that is literally all), the world, lore and characters and their arcs they went through do not matter at all anymore. The gameplay is repetitive and gets very quickly dull to such an extent it becomes little more than a chore. The reward for the chore is much worse however. The writing, story and characters are... holy **** it's bad. Most of the characters are straight out of avengers with their tone-deaf quippy remarks and one character is such an unlikeable, ungrateful, grating brat that I wish i could have her kicked out of the party/get her killed early on just to get rid of her horrendous personality. There is nothing good I can say about any of the writing, it's just all bad which ****. The graphics are pretty if we talk about the world, but as soon as the character models get included it's a very mixed bag. If we only talk about the graphics and design of the world it's overall pretty and at times gorgeous so yay for that. If we talk about the Characters however, damn, you could put Prince Charming from Shrek next to the other characters and it would fit. The characters in Veilguard have such an uncanny cartoonish look when compared to the world it really takes me out of the experience. The music and sound design is fine and overall solid. I'm just really happy that my country forces a 2 week return period for products and that with that I could get my full money back.

This is not a great expansion, the gameplay itself is mostly fine except for scuffed talent trees and constant reworks, lacklustre quest design(especially world quests) and of course the absurd amount of bugs present in the game now that don't get fixed at all. The story for The War Within is except for Shadowlands, which ruined almost all previous lore, the worst WoW has ever had, the characters are whiny, annoying, generally unlikable and uninteresting with the single exception being Dagran, he is honestly pretty neat but he needs to grow a beard! Anduin is a whiny idiot, Fearin is an annoying "can't do wrong, everything she does is amazing" type of character, and I find it frustrating how dumb her "prosthetic shield" looks, she was given the opportunity for a genuine prosthetic arm and was like "nah fam, having only one arm is amazing to me". Instead of making an amazingly cool and badass disabled character that also struggles with their disability(like many real people do) as an example for a badass disabled character i'll mention Adam Jensen from Deus Ex, No blizzard wanted to make almost a text book mary sue character out of her, same **** they did with Thrall during Cataclysm where he became the annoying Green Jesus. I would not recommend this expansion at current time. The gameplay is flawed by dumb designs and horrendous bugs while the story and lore are quite frankly ****.

Heavily flawed and incredibly frustrating at times. No actual Autosaves, one crash cost me 3 hours of progress. The Tutorials are utter **** better be ready to watch video guides on how to actually play the damn game. The enemies have way too much HP at times which makes the combat feel like a complete slog. The music ranges from generic music that grates on the ears after a few hours to some good tracks but mostly generic JRPG music. The graphics are blurry, it cant keep a constant resolution always changing every few seconds which gets annoying really fast, the game looks best on the small switch screen(not the oled model, there the blur is way more noticable). The "localization" is bad, not Fire Emblem Fates level of bad but still bad, they changed many texts, names and stuff from the original japanese, some people don't mind but i prefer an experience that is as close as possible to the way the devs/writers originally intended, playing with Japanese voices gets rid of the horrible british accents that plague the characters and voices that absolutely dont fit the characters(Rex especially) but the texts don't line up with what is actually being said a lot of times which is frustrating in itself. The game is grindy as **** some people like it but for me it's too much. Get the game for 30 or less if you are interested, it's not worth even a cent more than that

Game was fun until they started releasing dlc on a almost weekly basis now they are adding Micro transactions after promising us that they will never do that. do not buy games from those liars
