The movie starts out promising but due to stylistic changes starts to reduce in quality. I was shocked at how good Stuckman directed the film, although the script could have been improved. I think the film shows that Stuckman is a very competent director but could have used more help on the script.

Way better than I thought it would be. Funny, good action, interesting story. And it actually propelled the larger story of the MCU. IMHO this is a return to form. This feels like a weaker phase 3 film which is a good thing for the MCU. Hopefully the MCU can deliver on movies of this quality in the future.

Captain America Brave New World is the first movie to be helmed by the new Captain America. Marvel needed this to be good in order to stop fan bleeding, but this movie doesn't meet the mark. Instead of an interesting political thriller like the trailer suggests we get a watered down version of The Winter solider and Civil war. And for some reason some of the themes of Falcon and the Winter solider are rehashed in this movie. The pacing is also not great, the movie is less than 2 hours but feels like 2.5 hours (and not in a good way). There are some good parts, I thought the action was solid, Ross' characterization was well done, and I liked Giancarlo Esposito's character (even if it's the same one he's been playing since Breaking Bad). The movie also finally weaves in some of the multiple loose ends started by post endgame MCU. Overall it's a fine average MCU film, you can wait for streaming. On a side note MCU needs to hire some people that know world affairs/politics. The conflict is so laughable it took me out of the movie.

I generally liked it, but there were definitely pacing issues. Also large stretches where I was bored. I do like that he didn't feel the need to deeply explain everything. It is better than US, but not as good as get out.

Interesting commentary on podcasts and culture in general, but the pacing could be improved.

Solid action movie with some good gore and payoffs. The cinematography is also great. It is sad this was put on streaming for political reasons. Disney doesn't own the streaming rights if it goes to theaters so they put it on Hulu. This deserved a theatrical release.

A fun movie that overstays its welcome a bit. The film could have cut some fat out.

I don't know what people were expecting. This movie was advertised as a generic action movie and that is what this is. Chris Evans is good here and the action is solid. Will be interested in spin offs and sequels.

The movie quality wise is a 3 or so. It is insanely boring, but the movie is original, obviously has heart/care put into it, and the technical filmmaking and care with the shells is admirable. Because of that a 5 is pretty fair.

It's a fine movie. There are some issues like pacing, tone issues (some of the joke scenes go for too long), and a low use of Christian Bale. But it is over all fine.

A great sequel that is better than the original. I am going to see it again in IMAX

I always wonder if people have ever seen bad movies. Like ACTUALLY bad movies. This isn't a 0 or any negative score. A 2.3 aggregate? Are we being serious? The movie is well acted (especially Effron), well shot, had some solid effects/gore, great music, what else do people want? At worst the pacing needs to be improved. It is a 7/10.

It is basically a pre MCU 2000s superhero movie in 2022. People are hating too much. It is mid. Not Bad.

A well acted super violent movie about an old Norwegian tale. A tale of revenge and kings. The sound design is great, the cinematography is great, the effects are great. It is a great film. Strongly recommend seeing this on the big screen.

I saw this movie at a Thursday showing on 5/5/22 and generally enjoyed it. The movie was goreyer that I thought an MCU movie would do and had a lot of cool horror elements. I will say that the pacing was off and the movie would have been better with about 10 more minutes or so. There was also some great CGI and some laughable CG.

The movie isn't bad, but is definitely more serious than the trailers would show. Channing Tatum also directs the movie well.

These guys are insane, some of the bits were funny though. I felt like they could have passed the torch a bit better.

Too reliant on jump scares Umma fails to be be a spiritual successor to Ari Aster's Hereditary. That being said the first 10 minutes or so is unnerving and there are many interesting shots that deserved to be in a better movie.

I give this a 6.5/10. It is well shot, acted, and has an interesting story. But something feels missing here. I am interested in seeing the prequel "Pearl" coming later this year.

This is probably the best movie I have seen since the Pandemic started. Really only Parasite compares. The movie is about an intergenerational Chinese family living in the US in a failing business. While dealing with a tax issue the main character is told about a war in the multiverse that needs her attention. The movie is action packed, emotion packed, and funny af. This is easily the best movie of 2022 and I cannot recommend this movie more. It's like Sense8 meets The Matrix meets the MCU meets the immigrant experience.

The movie is interesting, but would have been better as a series. Marvel mishandled it.

The movie is good for the first hour and then flies off the rails. The meta commentary is great and Neil Patrick Harris acted well in this.

The best Scream since the original. The meta commentary on soft reboots and toxic fans was great. If you follow the film industry then you will like this movie. It does what the matrix 4 did, but better.

The trailer is very well done, which is why I feel bamboozled by this movie. There are pacing issues and it doesn't get good until have way through. I think this is a 5.5/10, but since this is a cool concept (yea it is a remake, but of a 1940s film, not the same as current soul less films) I will give it a 6/10.

There are a lot of flaws with the movie like pacing and Neo being a literal "Gary Stu" is funny to me. But the movie is very influential and is a solid 8 imho.

Best part of the movie is Lady Gaga's acting. Adam driver, Jared Leto, and Pacino are good as well, but Gaga is something else. Past that the movie has massive pacing issues that hurt the story of the movie. This would have been better served as a short series.

The visuals in this movie are stellar and really take your breath away. The acting is also very good here. The main problem with this film is that it largely serves as an introduction to the series. Which will be good in a few years but hurts it now.

Probably the best masala movie of all time. The songs are great, the comedy is great, the plot is great. It is also interesting because the girl's perspective is shown well here, something that didn't happen much at this time. The movie was also important being set in NYC after 9/11.

The story pulls some punches on who king richard was, but was overall a solid movie. Will smith acted very well here and I liked how they focused on Venus since she was the more popular sister at first.
