Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Wolfenstein Youngblood is a co-op first-person shooter and so far it's the latest game in the Wolfenstein series. The game aside from MachineGames was also developed by Arkane Lyon and was released in 2019. It received mixed reviews and from all Wolfenstein reboot games, this one has the lowest review score. The game's plot is set 20 years after the events of Wolfenstein II, after the liberation of the USA. You take the role of one of Blazkowicz's twin daughters Jessie and Zofia. The other twin, since this is a coop game, is controlled by another player or AI. B.J. goes on a mission, but he mysteriously disappears. One day, the twins found a map in a hidden room that indicated that B.J. went to Neu-Paris, an area still occupied by the ****. With the help of Abby (the twin's friend), they decided to meet with the local Resistance and find their father. After coming from previous games in this series, you would expect that this game also has a linear story and some minor RPG elements (skills and weapons), but this time, the situation is a bit different. They decided to completely experiment with this spinoff, not only did they decide to make a co-op game (which, in my opinion, is a great idea to use the newly introduced characters, which we were previously aware of in Wolfenstein II), but they completely changed how you progress. In this game, you have a levelling up system, which to be able to complete a story or side mission without any problems, you have to be at the recommended level for that mission. If you somehow are several levels higher than the recommended level, the game will scale the enemies' level. One issue that comes with this kind of progression system is the decrease of attention in the main story missions since to progress, you have to complete several side missions, which also have to be entertaining enough and not feel like fetch quests that do nothing than just consume your free time. Moreover, the maps can't no longer be linear, but more open, to be able to fit those side quests into areas you haven't yet discovered. The core shooting mechanics at least haven't changed, the gunplay feels the same, and the weapons upgrade system has improved even more. I've mentioned in my Wolfenstein II review that I loved the upgrade system and at that time I considered it to be the best version, but after playing Youngblood, I think this version so far is the best one, offering each upgrade part several options, to either have higher fire rate, damage or precision. Implementing three upgrades of the same type gives you a further boost to the desired upgrade. What unfortunately has changed (due to the implementation of the levelling up system) is that enemies sometimes feel bullet-sponge, especially if your level is lower than the recommended one and if you encounter a higher rank enemy (every enemy type can have up to 4 ranks, higher rank means that the enemy has more armor, health and a higher level and that he also deals more damage than usual). These higher ranks enemies are slowly introduced later in the game, after finishing a certain story mission. The game simply feels more like Borderlands or Tom Clancy's The Division game but without a proper gear system. You have the same weapons that were introduced before and you can access them all at all times as the only thing that changes after levelling up is that you're awarded a skill point and a permanent 2% damage boost. I just don't see the point of introducing a levelling-up system and making the game less realistic overall (headshots aren't lethal anymore) if the series wasn't introduced as a „Diablo game with guns“. The graphics look as gorgeous as in Wolfenstein II, but the performance on PS4 Pro isn't perfect. While fighting against Zitadelles, Ubergardes (both huge robots) and the final boss the screen blurs occasionally in its entirety for a second if you're sprinting, which is really irritating and something that I haven't experienced in any game so far. One more thing worth mentioning is that most of the dialogue between twins is cringe to say the least and the worst of all are the cutscenes in elevators (that serve as loading screens between floors, to be honest, I would rather prefer simple black loading screens compared to what we got). All in all, a major letdown for Wolfenstein fans, but after all, it's not a bad game, everything apart from the levelling system is probably acceptable.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person shooter game developed by MachineGames and released in 2014. on consoles and PCs. You're playing as William B.J. Blazkowicz who after the assault on Deathshead fortress was severely injured and was in a coma for 14 years. After waking up from the coma, you decide to find and free the **** Resistance and help them defeat Deathshead. Similar to The Old Blood (if you decided to rather play the prequel, The Old Blood, before The New Order, even though it was released the following year) you have a morality choice to make at the beginning of the story. This time the choice will slightly affect your gameplay, unlike in Old Blood, where there was no impact. The gameplay is mostly similar to The Old Blood, but this game also expands the roster of weapons by adding, for example, a handy laser gun, which is used as a cutter, so that you can access numerous hidden places, but it is also used as a powerful gun. Since batteries power this weapon, you must recharge it instead of just reloading. The part that I had the most fun with was the short zero-gravity fight with three drones, unfortunately, they haven't used the zero-gravity more, but overall the part when you're on the Moon is so far my favorite. To be able to access additional game content, you have to collect and decipher enigma codes which can be found around the map. When comparing The Old Blood and The New Order, I see that The New Order is better in any part of the game: gameplay, story, action and mission variety. All in all, a great game, with a longer and better story, when compared to its prequel.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

User ScoreDestroyerM24
Oct 20, 2024
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a first-person shooter released by Bethesda in 2017. on PC and consoles and so far it's the latest mainline entry. We follow B.J. Blazkowicz directly after the events of The New Order. Similarly to the previous title, B.J. is critically injured and he again falls into a coma (but this time in a shorter one) where at the beginning of the story he wakes up. The U-boat he is at is captured by Irene Engel (previously met in The New Order) and she has captured Caroline (the leader of the resistance). Since B.J. is unable to walk, in the prologue, he fights his way through **** in a wheelchair, showing that even without legs, he is still a major threat. After capturing both Caroline and B.J., Engel kills Caroline. Fortunately, B.J. manages to escape using Caroline's power suit and manages to release the U-boat so that they can escape. Even without Caroline, the resistance still decided to carry out the next step, which was to liberate America from the grip of the **** regime. The story overall is not as good as in The New Order, it's less serious and more goofy and bloated with many cutscenes, which in my opinion, about 25% of them are unnecessary and sometimes too ridiculous. Only Grace stands up from all the newly met characters as she takes the role of the new Caroline, the new leader of the resistance, while others are completely irrelevant. I don't think that even the ending is as strong as in The New Order, I barely noticed when the final boss fight was. I was more excited after killing Rip than Engel, the ending wasn't just memorable enough, at least for me. Since I mentioned Rip, I have to admit that I am pleased that we finally got the opportunity to explore Blazkowicz's past much more than before, learning why and what made B.J. into what he currently **** gameplay has improved, both the stealth part and gunplay, offering new weapons and heavy weapons (every heavy weapon is very fun to use) for you to use and new enemies to kill. The upgrade system is for me, in its best version so far, where you can choose which upgrade you want to implement on your gun (there are three possible upgrades for each gun). Graphically, the game is beautiful, using the power of the new id Tech 6 (The New Order and Old Blood use id Tech 5), they captured the essence of a post-nuclear area. All in all, if you loved The New Order, It's a must-play, even though the story and levels aren't as strong and memorable as in The New Order, the game is an improved version of The New Order, offering better gameplay and graphics.

Aerial_Knight's Never Yield is a 3D runner game developed by Aerial_Knight and released in 2021. on all platforms. It's a short (13 levels), yet still adrenaline-packed experience with some slight story (you are running away with important evidence that can change your city, Detroit). The gameplay is simple and it consists of you pressing four buttons/moves, each move counters a different kind of obstacle. The game also isn't difficult at all, so I highly advise you to play on at least hard mode. The game isn't difficult for three reasons. First, there isn't much variety of obstacles, so you will quickly become used to them. Second, the game gives you a warning before the obstacle (in the form of a color, every obstacle has its color and to counter it, you just have to press the move with the same color). Third and last, the game enters in slow motion just before the obstacle, so that you can counter it in time. The last mission was a bit more difficult and more lengthy, as there are fewer checkpoints and you take control not just as the character who is running away, but also as the character who is trying to retrieve the stolen evidence. The music was nice, I liked it. The endless mode isn't anything outstanding as you're just running in circles around a gymnasium with different obstacles thrown at you. All in all, a short game, but it's not as good as Vector. I would advise you not to pay the full price for this game, it's not worth it, rather get it while it's on sale.

Star Wars: Squadrons

User ScoreDestroyerM24

Star Wars: Squadrons is a space combat game released by Electronic Arts in 2020. The story is set in the Star Wars universe after the events of the Return of the Jedi. In this game, you take control of two pilots (one is a pilot of the New Republic's Vanguard Squadron and the other a pilot of the Galactic Empire's Titan Squadron, so you get to see both sides) whose appearance is set by you at the beginning of the game. Before going through the story and mechanics I want to mention that unfortunately at the time of writing (June 2024.) the online multiplayer is almost completely abandoned, as I had barely found any active servers and the Steam charts of concurrent players confirm it. But don't give up on it yet, since there is also a single-player story. The story overall is decent, with nothing outstanding, you take control of two pilots who are on different sides of the war and they both get involved with the Republic's project called Starhawk, a project which could turn the tides of war and bring hope into the New Republic. The Galactic Empire wants to destroy the project, while the New Republic is trying to finish it as soon as possible. The story is maybe a bit longer than many Electronic Arts games that aren't focused only on the single-player experience, 8-9 hours long to be more precise. After some slight story done through cutscenes, you will have to listen to a concise briefing before taking a mission. Since you're part of a squadron, which consists of 5 elite pilots, you also can speak with your 4 teammates before missions. Those conversations aren't much useful to the story, other than to just get to know them a bit more. The gameplay is a more detailed, realistic and immersive version of the space battles in Star Wars Battlefront II. SW: Squadron is played only from a first-person perspective and everything you need to survive and complete your objective is found in the cockpit. One thing where this game shines aside from the thrilling space combat is the possibility to divert your ship's power between engine, weaponry and shields according to the situation and player's playstyle. As I played SW Battlefront II on PS4, I needed some time to adapt myself to the controls on PC, but of course, the best way to play this is with a joystick. All in all, a decent game, that expands the foundations of the space battles in SW Battlefront II, with a short, but thrilling story. Unfortunately, the multiplayer component of the game is useless as you will have a hard time finding anyone online.

Bionic Rebirth is a free-to-play arcade first-person shooter where you have to escape a facility controlled by AI, developed by a few developers and released in 2024. The gameplay is simple, shoot the drones (with a pistol that has infinite ammo) while evading the missiles launched from drones. There are two types of drones, sentry drones and flying drones. According to the difficulty you'll need to hit the sentry drones 2 or 3 times before you destroy them. The situation gets complicated with the flying drones since some of them can be eliminated in just a few shots, and others will need a bit more to be destroyed. There are in total 10 levels, the game can be completed in under an hour. All in all, a good game if you want a short burst of challenge.

Endless Mahjong is a simple game very similar to Bejeweled but simpler and easier. I'm not sure if it can even be called a Mahjong-themed game. In this game, you have to connect two identical crystals, that's it. The level is finished when all crystals are connected. The game at least is true to its words while calling it endless, as the levels are randomised and there is an endless amount of levels, but the levels don't change in difficulty, which means that this game becomes boring pretty quickly. Unfortunately, this game looks like a cheap mobile game and it's more suitable as a mobile relaxing game. You only have crystals of 2 colors (blue and green), and each has 4 different shapes, which in total are only 8 different crystals. All in all a relaxing and very easy game, but the lack of variety and difficulty settings doesn't explain why this game costs 30 Euros, in my opinion, this should be a free mobile game. To sum up, it's not worth your time and money.

FLASHOUT 3D: Enhanced Edition

User ScoreDestroyerM24

Flashout 3D is an anti-gravity racing game released back in 2012. To celebrate the release of Flashout III, the developers Jujubee S.A. decided to remaster it and give it for free. They improved graphics and physics, while the content and gameplay remained the same as in the original title. The original title was released on mobile devices and PCs, while the remaster is only available on PCs. *Note: Since I haven't played the original release I'll not be able to compare it and say if they improved what was mentioned, but I can only give a review of the game in its current state. To be honest, I never played an anti-gravity racing game and I didn't know what to expect from this genre. This game is mainly focused on the singleplayer, there is no multiplayer mode in it and after finishing the career mode, that's all to expect from this game. The game offers 6 vehicles, 7 tracks and 7 tournaments in the career mode. After completing it, you're left with either racing against AI opponents with adjustable difficulty or trying to achieve the fastest time possible in time trial mode. The ships cannot be customised, which in my opinion, should've been implemented, you can only upgrade them. Those upgrades don't change the stats of the ship, instead, they are boosters that can be of great use at the beginning of the race. Several boosters can be collected while racing: weapons (machine guns and rockets), shields, energy, autopilot and nitro. You can only use one weapon at a time, shields and energy (which is practically health) activate upon collecting them and autopilot and nitro are manually activated. Autopilot takes control of your vehicle and drives it for a limited time and in my opinion, it's completely useless. I highly recommend you not to use it at all, as the autopilot drives like the AI would drive, probably even worse. Several times I ended up colliding with mines (located around the map, they often take up almost half of your maximum energy (health)), as I couldn't do anything since I couldn't take the controls back. As I mentioned in the note, I don't know how the game was before the remastered version, but what I noticed is that the developers stated that they improved the ship's physics. I'm not sure if that's true since the biggest problem in the ship's physics is jumping. What happens when you jump is that on several tracks your ship ends up outside the map and you have to quickly shift it toward the track or you will end up out of bounds and you'll be respawned (I will soon say what's the problem with respawning). If you somehow successfully jumped, it's not over yet, as when you touch the ground the ship can suddenly snap out, randomly turning in one direction, probably into a wall, slowing you down. The respawning is also a big problem, as after you lose all of your energy (either by colliding into walls or being damaged by opponent AI or by going off track), you have to respawn, the respawning itself takes several seconds and from the first place you end up last, just like that. Somehow the opponents that had to respawn before ended up catching me without any problem and while I couldn't confirm it, I think that the penalty for respawning isn't the same for the opponents as it is for me. Graphically the game is improved, obviously and it gave me the vibe of the seventh generation (I don't want to say that the Enhanced Edition looks bad, but that the color palette and effects remind me of some games for the 7th generation of consoles), so I started to wonder why this game wasn't released on PS3 as the graphics match perfectly and I haven't found one, probably the Jujubee S.A. was much smaller at that time and they couldn't afford to port the game to consoles. Several tunnels have flashing lights in their interior that quickly flash with different colors, which can be very irritating for your eyes. I highly advise you to turn off the "Emmisive Equalizer" in the settings menu to disable it. While completing the career mode the difficulty isn't adjustable, it's adjusted automatically according to the tournament you're driving. All in all a decent anti-gravity racing game that unfortunately doesn't offer much content, providing us with just a few hours of gameplay content. It doesn't have multiplayer and the ship's physics still needs to be improved. To sum up, even with all these cons, I still enjoyed this game, it isn't perfect, but it's a decent free introduction for those who haven't tried an anti-gravity racing game before.

Industria is a short (3 hours long) narrative-driven first-person shooter with puzzle and horror elements. It was developed by Bleakmill and released in 2021. The game is set in Cold War-era East Berlin, where you play as Nora, a worker for the company called Atlas and after the disappearance of Walter, you set off to find him. Soon you come across a teleport machine you use to find out where Walter went, ending in a parallel dimension overtaken by machines. Your objective is to find out what happened to this place and to find Walter. While trying to do that, you will end up fighting through many machines and solving some simple environmental puzzles (half of them are reused from the beginning of the story). The machines (AI) aren't smart and you can easily understand how to deal with each type, but what makes things just a bit complicated is the scarcity of ammo, which is hard to find and you'll soon start to make every bullet count, especially if played on Hardcore difficulty. You have different types of weapons, but if you want to find ammo, you will have to explore the world, which even though is mostly linear, is open enough. Exploration rewards you with ammo and different notes which help you to better understand what happened in this dimension. Unfortunately, in the end, many questions that are presented throughout the story end up being unanswered leaving an unfinished story and an unsatisfied player who wanted a proper end of the story. The atmosphere is what makes this game have horror elements. You have to use a flashlight most of the time while exploring and, well, you have to find batteries to be able to use it. You will go through surface levels, but most of the gameplay is set in gloomy parts of the town and closed buildings. In every encounter, even though the enemy AI isn't the brightest, you feel unsafe, especially after sighting the big machine before opening the city gates, near the end of the game. All in all, a short experience that has good foundations for a game series, but unfortunately the story is often hard to understand, especially at the end, when many questions are left unanswered, giving you the feeling that you haven't achieved much and that this game should've been more than just a 3 hour experience.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India is a 2.5D platformer and the second among the three in the Chronicles series. The game was released on PS Vita, consoles and PC by Climax Studios. You play as Arbaaz Mir who has to retrieve the Koh-i-Noor diamond, a powerful Precursor artifact. The gameplay mechanics are practically the same as in AC Chronicles: China. You have different gadgets, but they still offer the same utility. The combat feels almost the same, while the enemies differ, which is obvious due to the difference in the setting and timeline. The game mostly differs in the story, enemies, setting and timeline. The story is as lengthy as the previous title but a bit less interesting. You still have a nice balance of both stealth and speedrunning sections. The speedrunning sections offer a bit more variety while the stealth sections offer a bit less variety than AC Chronicles: China. There are missions where you have to retrieve three parts of clothes to be able to pass a very short stage of the map and to me, those missions are useless as I could just fight my way through, but instead, somehow, those clothing parts are very distant and located on three parts of the map. I liked the short parts where you use a rifle to eliminate your opponents before entering the fortress. All in all, if you enjoyed the first title of AC Chronicles, you will like this one too, even though this one is not as interesting and offers few unnecessary missions in my opinion that just extend a bit of your gameplay time.

Gran Turismo Concept: 2002 Tokyo-Geneva is a racing simulation developed by Polyphony Digital and released in 2002. There were several versions of Gran Turismo Concept and this one in particular was released in Europe. Gran Turismo Concept wasn't a mainline Gran Turismo game but served, I quote: "To drive concept cars only seen on a show stage" - as it's written in the introduction section of the game on the Gran Turismo main website. This game included gem-like concept cars from the 2001 Tokyo and 2002 Geneva Motor Show. The game overall is a better-looking version of Gran Turismo 3: A-spec but with a significant reduction in content. There is no GT Mode, you can't buy cars, upgrade them or sell them. This is Gran Turismo's Arcade Mode but with some slight additions. You have Course Licences, which upon completing them, you'll be given access to those tracks (only 5 tracks with their reversed versions)Many cars are already unlocked, but after finishing a licence with bronze and gold, and completing races on normal and professional difficulty you'll be given some more. Upon finishing all licences and races on both difficulties you've finished the game. Upon finishing the game you will unlock the hidden Ace difficulty (very challenging, but probably the best way to experience the game and its AI (which visibly has more grip than me)) for races and 10M credits for GT3. The lack of tracks is very noticeable and the amount of time needed to finish this game is drastically short compared to any GT game. All in all, a short experience for car enthusiasts, where you can try and test concept cars before seeing them in GT4 which was released 2 years later. Or you can earn the 10M credits for GT3 if you're short on credits.

Soulstice

User ScoreDestroyerM24
Jul 7, 2024
Soulstice is a hack&slash action-adventure developed by Reply Game Studios and released in 2022. receiving mixed reviews across all platforms. We follow Briar and Lute, two sisters, a Chimera (hybrid warrior made by uniting two souls) and her shade who were sent to the city of Ilden to try to close the Veil, the threat that corrupts all living creatures turning them into Wraiths. The bond between Briar and her little sister Lute is the strongest aspect of the story. Briar is the killing machine of the two, she is completely offensive and aside from the possibility to evade, she doesn't have any defensive abilities, while Lute is her shield, countering, blocking or stunning enemies to keep Briar safe and intact. At the beginning of the story, we learn that Briar is different from other Chimeras as she while being transformed into a Chimera, was already corrupted, making her more exposed to the corruption which can lead to her being transcendent. Transcendent Chimeras are completely corrupted and cannot turn back into their original state. Through the story, Briar with her corrupted blood inside, will be tempted into turning into one, but Lute will be the one to take her back to her senses by going through her nightmares uncovering their past and even more. Lute is probably the one who makes the story much more enjoyable and the one, who even though looked expendable at the very beginning, showed us, as the story progressed, to be of great use and importance. The gameplay is very similar to other hack&slash games like classic God of War games, Bayonetta, Devil May Cry or Darksiders, hacking and slashing through hordes of enemies. While doing that, you earn points that are shown after each battle, revealing how well you've fought. To be honest, the score/rating system is nice, but I didn't particularly appreciate being prompted about how well/badly I've performed after each battle. The summary of all my battle ratings at the end of the chapter would be just enough. You earn blue and red crystals (skill points) which are used to upgrade Lute and Briar skills. Aside from the sword as your main weapon, you will earn other different weapons that can be used according to the situation. The game relies heavily upon using two fields, the Evocation Field (blue) and Banishment Field (red), those fields are used to defeat Wraiths (blue ethereal objects) or Possessed (red hideous monsters), to destroy crystals either to earn more skill points or to access blocked or unreachable areas. Most of the time you will fight a mix of enemies, Corrupted (basic enemies), Wraith and Possessed at the same time, which means you will have to change fields according to the enemy you're attacking. One thing you have to be careful of is not to overcharge Lute, when she is using a field and countering enemies, the entropy will increase. If the entropy increases above a certain point, Lute will overcharge and disappear for a short amount of time, leaving Briar defenceless.I've mentioned before that you will have to go through some platforming puzzles in order to reach blocked areas, which are mainly blocked with red crystals. Most of the time, the game uses the same ideas and just makes them more tedious after some time by adding the need to first destroy a few smaller crystals to destroy the big one or crystals that recharge after a certain amount of time. By the end of the second chapter, you will become bored of all those red crystals. One more thing that doesn't change much is the level design, as you're practically playing one 15h long mission in the city of Ilden. From the docks, you have to reach the cathedral, where the Veil is located and with it, there is not going to be much variety. One great gameplay mechanic is the Rapture skill system, after earning enough union (earned while fighting and not taking damage), you can pass into Rapture mode which even though it makes you feel invincible, doesn't last long. According to the skills you purchased for Lute, the Rapture has four forms: Mastery, Trickery, Chaos or Balanced. Each form impacts the Rapture finisher you can activate at the end of Rapture. Apart from that, Soulstice offers great boss battles, but unfortunately, the bosses themselves aren't memorable as they don't look outstanding enough as in for example classic GoW games. The biggest issue in this game is the bad camera angles, fortunately in many battles, the camera can be changed, but in exploration, the camera angle is fixed. Most of the time the camera angles are unnatural and inconvenient enough to make very limited-space battles and platforming sections more frustrating. All in all, a good game that offers a great story of two memorable sisters who while completing their mission uncover the truth of their past and the Order they belong to. Unfortunately, the repetitive gameplay mechanics (platforming puzzles) and bad camera angles make the game more frustrating and tedious.

SchoolMate 2 is an adult game, released on PC in 2010 in Japan. The story revolves around a life of a young student, named Yukariko, who got possesed by three spirits, after accidentally breaking the statue of three sisters Suou, Asagi and Kuhaku. The three spirits in order to release Yukariko, want her to do anything they want for 16 days, literally anything, so they use this freedom to have "interactions" with a guy you take control of.There are no customisations at all, so the guys look is already determined and you can just change its name. There isn't much of a story, the game only gives a background story just to know what is happening overall. There isn't any love story or anything. The main game is divided into days, more accurate in 17 missions, which are very short and in which every sister decides to have a different "interaction" every day. The way you can distinguish which sister is speaking is by the hairstyle and eye color. When speaking of different "interactions", there are many of them, every single one has four phases, which can be changed after being given a heart, I would loved if the transation between phases was more fluid. All in all, a game that could've been a bit more directed towards making also a good story, the game already has everything to build that to a more story-based game.

This doesn't offer the player any other side activities other than collecting collectables and solving riddles by highlighting the **** combat is basic attack, counterattack control with few other variations by using various special attacks and gadgets at your **** this is the first game made by Eidos and Rocksteady, the player has to first get used to the new combat system and gadgets, so not all gadgets are available from the start as you unlock others with progressing throughout the **** story is very linear and not that long, by the end of it, you will visit every location in the **** challenges achieved by solving riddles are very hard, the combat challenges takes a great amount of practice and not making a single mistake to get gold, while the predator challenges are easier. All in all a great introduction to the Batman series, but the small map and very linear story with no side quest other than collectables and riddles which make this game a very short experience with only few boss fights.

Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game released in 2020. on PlayStation 4 and soon after on PlayStation 5 and PC. The game tells a story of Jin Sakai, a samurai from the Sakai Clan, whose uncle is the leader of the clan, Lord Shimura. Japan's island Tsushima was attacked by Mongols led by Khotun Khan and the prologue evolves around the battle of Komoda beach which ended tragically with only few samurai left to defend what's worth saving.Lord Shimura was captured by the Mongols and Jin decided to save him, but unfortunately he isn't even close to defeating Khotun Khan, mainly because of his fighting and dedication to honorable fighting like every samurai.Soon he realises that he has to change approach and the one who persuaded him to make the first move of becoming the legendary Ghost of Tsushima was **** story overall is amazing, the ending, really emotional, I loved every part of it, main quest, side quest and mythical quests, all of them were great, offered a great amount of side content and **** graphics and ambient really contribute to the immersion this game has. Every part of the map is filled with beautiful scenes that look amazing in every time of the in-game **** combat is perfect, with skill points you earn new moves and new ways to attack your enemy both when fighting and while being stealth. The game gives you even more stealth options than Assassin's Creed latest games, and those were supposed to be stealth action-adventure games after **** only thing I thought was an issue is the great amount of repetitive side content that gives you various boosts to your character, they are all okay but in the late part of the game it starts to become a bit of a drag, nothing serious to effect the game overall. All in all a wonderful game, which has to be played with japanese audio for sure, for even more immersion. Many games described this game as a better version of Assassin's Creed, at least when we compare the few latest entries. this is a game that Ubisoft will hardly surpass and mostly because of their orientation on making RPG games filled with meaningless content. To conclude, every aspect of the game is perfect from the battle of Komoda beach to the very ending, a masterpiece ****.

Every class can't just use only one weapon like in other MMORPGs, but here you have a wider set of weapons which can be used depending on the player's playstyle and situation. The character's stats can be modified as you progress throughout the game using and allocating skill points. While playing the story, after some time you get companions, companions are useful if you're playing alone, which in 2023. is completely normal, as there aren't many players playing this.Even though the gameplay in terms of combat looks awesome, the graphics are really bad and the perfomance is bad when in hometown, even though PlayStation 4 Pro is more than capable of running this **** user interfece is really bad, trying to get from an option to the other is a pain while using a controller. Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is football game like FIFA, but here the developers aren't Electronics Arts, but Konami. Even though the game doesn't have everything licensed, Konami tried their best to have as many licensed clubs and players as they could. They even managed to have all world competitions licensed which at that time was rare. The gameplay overall is very similar to FIFA, but the game has some distinguishable content which puts the game at the same level as FIFA games. What this game has is Master League and Become a Legend, which can be described as a career as manager and as a football player. The career as a manager is not as complex as Football Manager, but it still offers a good amount of options to enhance the **** career as a player is very simplified, you just take control of one player (you) during the match and you play your role, when an another club during the transfer window wants you within your team, you can accept or decline the offer.Apart from those two modes, you have many others where you can play exhibition and league matches, competitions, online (at the time of writing, the servers are closed after the release of PES 2016) and offline co-op **** only thing that can be annoying is the difficulty setting. The difficulty gap between two settings is too noticeable, which for those who mastered the easier difficulty and changed it to a higher one make the change a pain for a while.Apart from that, as there are many non-licensed teams and there isn't an easy option to change that, everything has to be done manually or you have to find someone others savedata online, which after uploading to your console can erase all your files when overwriting it. All in all, a great football game, full of content and offers great replayability, but there are some slightly issues and few tweaks that could've been implemented to make the game a bit better.

KartRider Drift is an online cross-platform free-to-play kart game like many others, which tries to replicate a gameplay similar to Mario Kart and similar games. The game can be played against bots or other players from any other platform available. The overall look and tracks are fantastic and the game doesn't force you into microtransactions as the kart itself and its driver are just for appearance. The in-game currency are earned as you play the game, that currency can be used to buy in-game items and to upgrade your kart to make your kart faster and more stable, but apart from that there isn't a complex upgrade system, the game just gives you several upgrade points to boost the **** good thing about this game is the possiblity to play with either bots or other players and from almost every platform and the negatives are pretty obvious. After the huge success of the newer released NFS Hot Pursuit, they decided to launch a game on the Frostbite 3 engine using the same concept on which the Hot Pursuit franchise was based, but this time set in an explorable open-world. As this game was based upon Hot Pursuit, the game features the same racer versus cops campaign in which you take place in various events on different parts of the **** map itself is huge, it offers many different biomes, from snowy mountains to desert canyons and all within this one detailed **** game also offers many events with a great range of weapons at your disposal, but according to the vehicle and side you choose, the weapon system differs a **** narrow range of cars is a bit dissapointing for a 2013 game, each obtained level you get access to one car, so all in all a bit more than 20 if you buy the DLCs. Cop's cars have 3 different classes: Patrol, Undercover and Enforcer. To be honest, the difference between them is minor, few stats and paintjob, so from my perspective, use Enforcer Class as the cars in this game are pretty easy to break and the Enforcer cars have the best **** main problem within this game is the lack of multiplayer options and cops being overpowered. Without upgrading you car to the maximum possible durability, you're gonna have a hard time escaping from them, but at least you can go to the safehouse without having to escape them first. Gundam Evolution is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter where you try to outplay the opponent's team in a 6v6 match in different gamemodes with different Gundams. Every gamemode differs by the main objective, so far there are: Point Capture, Domination, Destruction and the latest added Headquarters gamemode. In every gamemode you play as both offence and defence. As most first-person shooter games nowadays have different classes in order to make every match a slightly different experience, so does this one. You take control of different Gundams from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and with various skills, both passive and active, try to use that advantage and coordinate with your team to succesfully complete the main objective of the match. In the time of writing (May 2023.) the game is still actively updated, where with every new season a new Gundam and map are added. When comparing it with other games like Overwatch, Paladins, Rogue Company, Valorant,... the only thing that differs are the maps and characters. Every single mentioned game has almost the same gamemodes, same game mechanics so all in all it's up to the player to decide which of those games is a bit better than the others. All in all, the game itself is great, stable and fun, it doesn't offer a different experience from what you've probably already seen, but it makes a great addition to the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise.

On PS4 to access Phantasy Star Online 2 you have to first download Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and then download the free DLCs in the launcher. This game in the time of writing (May 2023) is no longer supported by the developers, the servers are still online, but there isn't any new content, since all staff and resources are now further developing New Genesis. When first starting a new game you are given the option to choose the look and class of your character, all changes you are making in appearance can be later changed using a currency called Star Gems or the Free Salon Ticket. The classes can be changed anytime at no cost. After the game's introduction to the game's mechanics you have the option to do anything you want: Story missions, ARKS quest, Side quest. Leveling up isn't a problem, only later in the game it starts to become a grind. The Story missions aren't a big of a deal, since they are mostly just a mix of voice and text-based cutscenes. The best part of the game is combat, every class has at least two equipable weapons and each one has its own abilities. When leveling up, each level gives you a skill point which can be used to upgrade your class. The combat is fast-paced, dynamic and fluid, with many option to enhance your weapons and armors. The Player's Market is a place where other players put their items and price at which they will be selling the item. Here is also where all fashion items can be bought, or at the Player's Market or with Limited-time Scratch Tickets bought with real money. Since in 2023. there aren't as many players as before and since there aren't new Scratch Tickets, every single fashion items, especially for female characters costs a lot, if you want to wear something you like, you have to grind every single day by doing Daily and Weekly tasks, doing those quests is the best way to earn money. There is also a PvP mode which no one plays, so basically it's dead. Omega Strikers is a F2P Sports game and can be described as a 3v3 air hockey game with abilities. The main objective of the game is to outsmart your rivals and score a certain amount of points to win the match. The amount of points to score differs from gamemode. Before scoring a point, there are some parts of the arena where the ball must hit first, after doing that, the gate which defends the goal opens and makes the opponents more vulnerable. At the beginning of each match, you choose your character with certain abilities. Each character's ability adds variety to each game. Before the match, after choosing your character, you also choose a buff, adding an additional bonus to the role you play. There are two roles, two forward players and one goalie. Choosing the right character for each role can be crucial to the outcome of the match. Apart from abilities, you have different arenas, which differs by only the parts which must be hit before the goal become defenceless. Apart from that, you only have three gamemodes. There are not many obligatory microtransactions for a F2P game to be honest, which is good, mostly fashion items, but the important thing are the characters, who can be bought with currency earned by simply playing the game. One of Codemaster's early F1 games and there are many improvements compared to previous titles. The game itself isn't a masterpiece, there are few issues, it isn't a racing simulation nor there are not any possibilities to make it due to certain settings, like the damage model is too forgivable and there aren't many difficulty settings that can transform it into a F1 simulation, so all in all we agree that this is a racing arcade. The game also doesn't have wheel settings for a 900 degrees steering wheel, so there will be some small issues at the beginning, until you find the right adjustment of your steering wheel to make the game more realistic, but if you don't know how, there are some great wheel setups on some forums, which many of them, I tried and it did solve the problem, I felt the game a little bit more realistic then before. The game also suffers from many frame drops, especially in split-screen multiplayer, it hardly keeps the 30fps cap, which makes the game a pain to enjoy while playing in rain or when there are many opponents on the screen. It also has some sound bugs, which cannot be explained, but it happens that while playing, you suddenly hear some weird sound like if you were on a completely other side of the track, it doesn't happen occasionally and it doesn't last long, but it breaks the already broken immersion. All in all, a great game, great career mode, not so great graphics or perfomance, a game which needs improvements, but it is fun from the start to the finish line.

Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition

User ScoreDestroyerM24
May 10, 2023
Dying Light is an action-packed zombie survival game, with implemented rpg elements to make the progression within the game more rewarding. The additional title "Good Night, Good Luck" isn't there just to make the title more serious, but literally, if you complete quests or just roam around the map of Harran at night, you will be always making sure that you have a safe zone nearby so that you can take shelter in it, if you get caught by volatiles, which are probably the worst type of zombies in the game but at least you can't find them roaming around all the time since their skin can't support UV radiation. The day and night cycle and having different weather effects makes you feel more or less safer, more or less cautious, all in all, weather does effect how easy you can get scared. In the beginning of the game doing quest during night is a suicide mission, later when you get access to takedowns, camouflage, guns and overall better gear, playing at night will be a rewarding and scary experience. The main story isn't at a Last of Us level but it's acceptable as the main selling point for this game is the combat, parkour and the environment and the amazing coop experience. Combat and parkour are fluid, something on which the first Dead Island hasn't been really working on as the only parkour you had were interactions with objects and jumping. Coop is probably the best way to play the game, similar to Dead Island, as you have to finish the prologue first and set the game server to public. The Following DLC is a great addition to the story which takes place in the countryside near Harran after the ending of the main game. What you get here is a new story, much bigger map and the possibility to drive a buggy which for some reason is the only working vehicle left in Harran. I liked the DLC, but it's not as good the main game since many of the quests were scattered around the map, and made completing these tasks much more of driving chore and more less combat since the map is bigger than expected. Other DLCs are okay, they are basically additional contents without any relation to the story. You can try them, but it won't take long to become bored. All in all, one of the best zombie survival game so far. Parkour, combat, coop and the environment is where this game shines. The element of danger that this game offers will be enough for years and after completing it you will be left with only good scary memories.

After a successful release of a driving simulator which is mainly based on GT3 and GT4 cars (DLC required) on PC, Kunos Simulazioni decided to release a console version of it, as console players always have a limited amount of driving simulators, which most of them are something in between driving simulators and arcades (games like Gran Turismo, Forza, Grid,...). Well, the console release wasn't as successful as the one on PC. The 30 fps cap and many bugs were the main reason for it. After few updates, the 30 fps cap was raised to a 60 fps cap, but was mostly set at about 40-45 fps and few more if you have a PS4 Pro. Most of the bugs were fixed, some of them still occur from time to time. Probably the most irritating is when the game just freezes for less than a half of a second, which happens for no reason at all. There is also one thing that for some can be very frustrating, which are the replays and highlights. The replay records only up to 5 minutes before entering the Replay section and the highlights aren't really highlights as there is an overtake that wasn't even done or an overtake that happened before the actual highlight. Replays can be saved, but only those 5 minutes and the highlights cannot be saved even if you have more than 100GB of space on your hard drive. Apart from that, the game itself is still a masterpiece, laser-scanned tracks, day-night cycle, changeable weather, astonishing car sounds and perfect physics, making this the best and the most accurate GT3 and GT4 simulation so far. After the mentioned updates, what you get as a standard edition is a full roster of GT3 cars, teams and tracks from 2018., 2019. and almost 2020. season (two cars and a track are locked as a DLC), the amount of tracks isn't really as big as some games have, just a little bit more than 10, if you bought all the DLCs. They also added the possibility to make custom liveries, which for some reason, only 10 custom liveries can be made and there are two customisation options that does nothing visually (due to the graphical downgrade they made to make the performance a little bit better). The AI overall is very competitive and smart, probably the best AI ever, but you can only have up to 19 opponents, while the PC release has 40, which is weird from my perspective as Project Cars 2, a game from 2017. has better performance, better graphics (but after the ACCs console graphical downgrade) and they still have up to 31 opponents. All in all, everything except the performance was well imported from PC, in terms of physics, sounds and AI, there are no differences between PC and console releases, the only thing which can be frustrating for some is the graphical downgrade, little freeze moments here and there, only up to 19 opponents and almost unusable Replays and useless Highlights. Even after all those issues, this game still is one of the most accurate racing simulators available on consoles so far.

After Konami renamed its successful sports game PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) into eFootball I already knew that the game franchise was coming to its downfall. Well, this is the perfect example of Konami doing what EA does best, makes low quality games ( by that I mean that the game is full of bugs and that the game doesn't differs much from its predecessor) with many ways to pick pockets from you. Well, what could you expect from a free-to-play game, well, microtransactions of course and the worst thing is there are almost to no singleplayer modes, we all remember PES from its „Master League“ and „Become a Legend“ game modes, well in this game apart from the multiplayer, the only thing you have is „Trial Match“ with just few clubs available to choose, no „Custom Championships“, no „Custom Leagues“, nothing. What else to say, well, the game does use Unreal Engine, but the latest PES I have, PES 2019 looks 10x better than this, no shadows, blurry edges, grass details non-existent, user interface makes your eyes wanna scream and also always the same recycled commentaries and no fans chanting. Just 30% of all clubs are licensed and almost only 5% of them available in „Trail Match“. All in all I would rather recommend you to buy an older game of either PES or FIFA for 20$ or lower as this game isn't worth it even if it's for free. Better to spend some money into a higher quality game than to spend money on this and then after a year or so, Konami releases a new title and then turns off the servers of the older one which makes all your hard earned money a waste.

In Far Cry 3 you play as Jason Brody (a normal character with no military experience) as he tries so set his friends free after they were captured by pirates, who are lead by an iconic antagonist called Vaas. At first they were all captured while they were skydiving near the Rook Island, but Jason's older brother helped him escape the outpost before the camp was alerted, unfortunately his brother didn't make it. This was the start of Jason's journey to release all his friends and to avenge older brother's death. While being on this journey, there is a group of natives of the island who are willing to help you, if you help them liberate the island by taking control over outposts all over the island. Apart from that, there are multiple activities and side quest which you can access after liberating a part of the island. Well, most of them becomes repetitive after some time and you lose interest completing them, but they give you some extra few hours of gameplay. Jason will not only learn how to be a warrior, but also how to survive the jungle. By gathering certain plants, you will be able to craft syringes which will amplify you skills, and by hunting and gathering animal skins, you will be able to upgrade yourself so that you can carry more loot, ammo, syringes, etc. Following the main storyline after some time you will gain ability to learn more skills, which are represented on a Tatau, which will complete itself after learning all skills. The main story is great, and on my opinion, it can be separated in two parts, every part of the story on a separate island. The first one where you will set you friends free and where you will kill Vaas, and the second one where you will hunt down Hoyt to help Citra avenge his brother Vaas for turning him into a madman. Well, apart the great memorable story, there is also a character who stand out above all, and that is Vaas, of course, the crazy maniac who starts talking like a reasonable person and ends the talk by yelling at you and killing someone. He shows only in few cutscenes, but his impact as a character stands out. The Rook Island are vast and beautiful, the graphics is amazing, even today. Great amount of weapons, skills, upgrades and activities. The only thing that really shown how old this game is was the barely holding the 30 fps cap while driving and the bottom of the screen tearing while running. All in all, for open-world fans this is a must play, within this game you get not only a beautiful world to explore full of mysteries to reveal, but also a great story full of iconic characters. Have I ever told you an example of insanity? Well, this game is.

Honestly, one of the best stealth tactical shooters I have played so far. I love how well they implemented the story with Bolivia and its people. The world of Bolivia feels so alive, children running, playing on the streets, people driving everywhere and you can also hear other's conversation. The big variety of guns you can pick, the customisation of all guns and its accessories. The great thing I love far the most is how you unlock all those weapons, accessories and gears, of course by exploring the wonderful world of Bolivia which makes you use the open-world you have at your disposal. But with every wonder there is a danger, here you have to reach the boss of the well known Santa Blanca Cartel and capture or kill all his buchones. Well not every game is perfect nor this is. The story...well we can say there is none, you just do some missions in order to reach the boss of the SB Cartel. There are few little things which are weird and maybe bad balanced, but it doesn't influence your gameplay. Maybe after some time it is a little bit boring due to repetitive actions, but you can experiment a bit, try approaching every base in a different way or tactic, and I highly recommend playing cooperative, you will enjoy it for sure. All in all a great tactical shooter, the only bad thing that really affects the gameplay is the bad story, but I can't say I haven't enjoyed this game, because this is a wonderful game worth playing.

A game mainly based on the film also named WALL-E, a film about how humans destroyed their world known as Earth with rubbish and litter, so basically it wants to point out that the main problem is the amount of trash we produce in an year versus the amount of trash that can be recycled, so yes, if you want your grandsons to live peacefully, start caring about Earth and don't be a selfish idiot who only thinks of money and glory. Ok, so the game isn't that long as expected, but still, it is fun and enjoyable. This game really is one of my favorite game from my childhood, and honestly, it wouldn't be as fun as it was back when I played at my school years. So if you watched the movie, you can basically know what will happen, which isn't that fun. For an 2008. game the graphics are decent, the game isn't hard, maybe some levels take some time to complete. I really recommend this game for children, it's fun and easy to play, at the end of the day it is an E ( E for everyone) rated game. All in all, a good game, even though I think this game deserved more content and more gameplay variety.

Need for Speed: Underground

After years of releasing Need for Speed games, EA made one of the most successful games in the Need for Speed Franchise, which is indeed NFS Underground. In this game, you take part in races during night and rank up, race after race, and eventually become the best driver in every race discipline. While doing that, you gain reputation points which gives you access to more cars, tracks, customisation options. Unlike previous NFS games, where you could only choose the paint for the car, here, you can actually decide how your car will look, not just the color, but also body parts and each part can be painted separately, decorated with decals or brands, well practically everything can be personalised to your liking. This game has 20 licensed cars, fully customisable and each car can be upgraded with performance upgrades gained during playing Underground **** this game is almost twenty years old, it shows some imperfections that games had at that time, like stupid and unfair AI. By stupid I mean that they will practically crash into you if it happens that you've chosen to take the path to the right and he decided to take the one on the left as if there was no obstacle, he will not change mind at any cost whatsoever. By unfair I mean that there seems that the AI has more grip than the player, which was noticeable in two occasions, while racing as there are some parts of the track which are impossible to take without any braking, while the AI takes tight corners with no problem and carrying much more speed. The second occasion was when crashing into traffic, when I crash into traffic, my car always goes flying for seconds and seconds and eventually losing 5 or more seconds after resetting the car, while the AI only spins a little bit or slows down upon impact, nothing more, no flying or things like that. The jumps must also be taken perfectly as you will end up rolling over and over until you reset your car. Talking about traffic, if you are winning there are some occasions when a car would appear in the middle of the track right before the end of the race, eventually ruining your race as you don't have any time to react and crash into him. Because of these issues, I've spend more time restarting races than making progress and making this my the most irritating NFS game so far. All in all, I recommend this game to every NFS fan, even though it can be irritating at times, I still had fun playing it. Great amount of cars, car customisations, tracks and events will probably keep you entertained for a while.

This is one of those games that isn't beginner friendly, as there are many things which need to be learned in order to really master the car and to know how the car will react. Here even the driving assists won't help you, you will probably still sometimes end crashing into the nearest tree or hidden rock if you don't fully understand your co-driver, which is probably the most detailed and human-like co-driver I've ever seen. This is not a licensed WRC title so don't expect the newest cars and liveries in it, nor the tracks are, the tracks aren't real, but they are pretty the same thing of what to expect from real tracks, the track design isn't really the most important thing as the surface and driving physics are, which is what Codemasters probably put the most effort in it, which can be seen from the first time you jump into a stage. While the WRC cars aren't licensed, the RallyCross cars and tracks are, both 2019 and 2020 season. Apart from those, there will be many historical and well-known cars like the Lancia Stratos, Subaru Impreza,... but there are some which aren't here, which in my opinion deserved the spot within the game, like the Citroen Saxo and Xsara, the Toyota Corolla and Celica and the Hyundai i20. Well, what about the Career Mode? Well, that's the thing in which Dirt Rally 2.0 falls as there isn't really a Career Mode, you complete Championships or Events (Daily, Weekly, Monthly and AI Challenges), you get money with which you buy new cars or mechanics, buy upgrades both for your crew and car, or you spend it on repairing cars, all with online connectivity only. All in all, I think this game is so far one of the best rally simulator, there are certain things which needs implementing, like a Career Mode similar to the WRC titles and more Weather and Time settings available for each track and stage. Well, if you are more like a casual rally player and if you don't have a steering wheel, I would most likely recommend you to stick to the WRC titles.

One of the best open-world game at that time, following the same mechanics of GTA but this time with another story, but not just of one character, but even three of them, Michael, Trevor and Franklin in their quest for money and in the beginning we learn how they met each other and their background story. The city of Los Santos is beautiful and bright, that even after many years, you are not bored with it. Apart for the main missions, there are many things you can do while playing the main game; side quest, hidden quest and many things to discover or reveal. Of course, where there is crime, there are weapons for that, and so this time Rockstar didn't disappointed us, many guns, pistols, rocket launchers,... and of course with them, even weapons attachments for better recoil or accuracy. Well, you might ask what after that, what after all the main storyline quests and all side activities, well, in singleplayer there aren't many things left to do, which caught me off-guard as I always remembered playing all those vigilante, fire and ambulance truck activities which I was looking forward to, but this time, none of them are here. But this doesn't mean anything because there is a massive multiplayer mode waiting for you to try new things, buy apartments, play heists with other players or friends,... ( Well from this year the online servers are shut down, but for the review, I still had to point out how good the Multiplayer Mode was). The only things that killed the enjoyment was the massive loading times, both singleplayer and multiplayer mode, in multiplayer is even worse, after every activity outside the game session you had to wait the servers to put you back in another game session and so on. All in all, one of the best open-world game till this day, even though nowadays half of the game locked due to servers being shut down, but you still have the whole main story left to complete which will give you many entertaining hours of enjoyment and thrill.

At first glance, major improvement are visible, graphics are more realistic and they added the possibility of tire puncture and manual windscreen wipers and headlights control. But after a while, you start to notice some things which are even worse than the previous title, like the co-driver and engine sound, horrible, soo frustrating, I can't even disable the HUD because of that, you just cannot distinguish when you even have to change gear if there wasn't an on-screen display for that. At last, also the force-feedback is awful, you just can't distinguish when you are both oversteering or understeering. All in all, I would highly recommend you to rather play the DiRT series, as they even if the game doesn't have licensed WRC cars and tracks, it's still a far better game than this.

A wonderful party game, meant to be played cooperatively, with a friend or someone else (both offline and online), as playing it all by yourself can become challenging and breaks the game's immersion as you can always use only one cooker at a time. There are more than 40 levels, some of them hidden, which can only be unlocked by completing a unknown challenge. After the main story, there isn't really much stuff to do, only Arcade (1 or more players) and Versus Mode (2 or more players), Practice and Survival Mode, and at last, for every level there is also an optional fourth star to be achieved. All in all, there are really some great levels (and some of them can be frustrating), but all this won't last long, as the game's main story can be completed in several hours, if you aren't going for the DLCs which in my opinion should've been there from the start.

Reliving the story of the creed, how it was built and when, we shift back to its origin and learn what its main purpose was. With that we follow Bayek on his quest for vengeance. While learning why his son was murdered, we learn about a secret group of people who control Egypt while hidden among its people. The story or maybe the most important part of the game is among the best Assassin's Creed stories I have played so far, we also have the opportunity to play as Aya, but only few missions, and well, the story between Bayek and Aya at the end is not what I have expected, which is the only thing I was disappointed into. Apart from that, gameplay and combat are great, I even think that the combat system is much better than from Odyssey, here you have a shield to block attacks and arrows and in Odyssey Alexios can block both attacks and arrows with his Leonidas spear, which isn't really realistic and of course Alexios jumping from the highest edge and not taking any damage, that was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. At first you might think Egypt equals to a lot of sand and desert, well, this is not the case here, there are many cities, villages, ruins,... and the vegetation differs, within the Nile and within the desert. Also the graphics are amazing, well detailed and sharp-edged. All in all, a must play Assassin's Creed game, almost everything is perfect, I haven't had any issues nor situations where I've felt this game is repetitive.

Even though this game has much to offer, like many cars (both historical and modern-day) and tracks (all terrain type), the game still doesn't give you anything special to be remembered by due to a short and bland career and bad voice acting (repetitive pre-race commentators). The game is undriveable with a steering wheel, I don't know why, but it is preferable to play it with a controller, the assists are there, the damages are there but nothing breathtaking. All in all the best thing the game offers are the graphics (Unreal Engine 4), but apart from that it's just a short game full of content that doesn't hook you up. A good, but not great game.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a spectacular, amazing, innovative and surely a MUST-PLAY game. I loved it from the beginning till the end, the story of a young female hunter trying to find the truth about her origin and the truth behind the Project Zero Dawn is so good that I cannot even find a word for it, simply one of the best stories ever made. There is a great amount of side quest (every side quest is like a small story, what is the most important, those quests are non-repetitive), type of machines ( every type of machine has its own weakness and strength, its on you to find the best way to hunt it down), weapons ( many types of weapons and ammunition means that you have many possibilities on which way to hunt down a machine and find a way to exploit their weaknesses) and many different ways to approach the game. The ability to craft its own ammunition is really a good way to use the environment and your surroundings. The map is huge and beautiful, the graphics are amazing and sometimes left me speechless when I saw how beautiful the world of HZD is. The Frozen Wilds DLC is also a great addition to the game, a little story within the regions of the Banuk ( a tribe who lives in the mountains). I have to admit this was the first time I have ever heard about Guerrilla games and I bow them, they made this game glorious, and with no doubt I am sure they're going to make great games also in the future.

My first and so far the best Horror; RPG; Hack&Slash game I've played and I had so much fun playing it. If you have someone to play with, than you will enjoy this game too. You can play it solo (after the first two chapters it becomes too hard to play solo) or cooperative (recommended), with one or more friends or players. The main story follows an island infected by zombies, only four of them so far are virus-resistant and you have to choose which one of them you'll be according to your playstyle. Every character has its own abilities, passive and active skills, pros and cons. I love the RPG elements which made the game even more rewarding, thinking on which ability to spend skill points and not just grinding for better weapons as in most RPGs so far. While playing through the game we didn't had any major issues, only few minor problems with cooperative, sometimes one of us would froze in the main's admin game, which was irritating sometimes, but wasn't an often scenary. Apart from that, I've expected offline split-screen mode, more zombie types and maybe an earlier usage of firearms. All in all, a wonderful game, recommended for those who have someone to play with, for others, if playing solo, this game can be hard, but not impossible. (Bonus: maybe my review wouldn't be that positive if I didn't have someone to play with :) )

After the release of the main game in a rough shape, the community showed their disappointment throughout reviews and Ubisoft as an apology, decided to release the Dead Kings DLC as a free bonus content. The story is pretty short, you will only need an hour or so to finish it, this time you will spend more time in the underground and because so, this time the map has both surface and underground level available. You have again, many chests to collect, artifacts, riddles to finish and other side quest like Franciade Stories, Murder Mysteries (which are easier than the easiest Mystery available in the main game) and Liberate Outpost missions which are also pretty easy to complete ( you just have to kill 3 officers and escape the area). All in all a pretty short experience and as this DLC is free, I recommend you to try it.

The game is almost perfect, the graphics are absolutely amazing. The big amount of cars and tracks are going to keep you busy for a long long time, the career mode is amazing and well designed, but outside driving there isn't anything that makes you really think you are getting somewhere. The best way to play this game is with a steering wheel as this game is a pure racing simulation. Every track can be driven at any time of the day with snow, rain, heavy rain, fog, etc... The only problem with this game is that some cars are not easy to control without the right setup and you will probably need to spend many hours finding the best setup for each track, and also the fact that this is not a racing game meant for playing on a controller. ( what I want to say is that it is not easy to adjust the controller as perfect as in GT Sport, Dirt, Grid )
