Fantastic art style, great music, an innovative take on beloved characters, incredibly annoying weapon mechanics.

This is the perfect RPG. I played it first in 2011 and now I love it even more.

The perfect RPG, improved - not much - with bugfixes, better UI and some hassles taken care of,

The definitive experience, if you don't count premium modules. Story is a bit of Baldur's Gate, Icewind dale and Planescape Torment.

It's finally back the way it was meant to be played, with its custom music and bug fixes.

This review is based on my experience when I first played the game, more than a decade ago, and no experience of D&D at all. Magic system is absurd, but I liked it so much.

A much needed update for a beloved classic. Some things are still being improved, and new modules are being actively developed. Amazing stuff.

I really didn't want to give this game a 10, but considering the ridiculous reviews about Epic Games or from people who expected an action RPG, I have to. It's superior to XCOM2 in principle (and occasionally performance), but it lacks the same polish and amazing toolset. YET. More DLC and the toolset are coming.

The game is a very nice and refreshing reboot of the Space Opera Genre. All ships are unique and well-thought of. Plus, it's extremely moddable even now and it will be even better, as planned support is going to take a long time and DLCs and Expansions are planned too. In fact, there are also free substantial updates incoming, unlike Skyrim which had those cretin killcams upgrades. More ships, more mechanics and skills are all planned. Right now, however, the game is just plain fun and unique, as a full RPG with ships is something we never had, not since freelancer and DEFINITELY not with X-Rebirth. It's big, and it will become even bigger.
