The good: overall the best 3rd person action shooter I've played since Gears of War 1. The music is epic. Sound effects add so much to gameplay. The gunplay is satisfying. No forced micro transactions, everything can be earned in-game. The environments are captivating. The explosions and battles are also epic. Enemy & weapon types are diverse. The overall look of the game is very well done. Only $40. The bad: being stuck at 1080p resolution in order to get 60fps on performance mode kind of ****. Sometimes the aliasing can be a bit jarring, the anti-aliasing feature doesn't work. Higher resolution comes at only 30fps. The game has many, little bugs that are being patched out. The gameplay can be a bit repetitive.

Terminator: Resistance Enhanced7

The Good: The commitment to servicing the fans of Terminator 1 & 2 is abundantly present in the game's atmosphere, story, sound effects, music, weapons, and overall Terminator lore. The first person shooter & scavenging gameplay is passable enough to enjoy. The Bad: The lack of budget really shows with what they were able to do with the Unreal 4 game engine where other, more expensive games look & feel better. The character dialog animations are probably the worst part of the game. It would be hard to recommend this game to non-Terminator fans.

The Good: As an 'Aliens' movie fan, this game just does it for me. It's basically a 'Gears of War' style, 3rd person horde-shooter staying true to the atmosphere of its franchise. It's fun to get two dependable buddies to go shoot up countless aliens. The Bad: It's one of the buggiest games I've played, randomly crashing, or new updates making enemies glitch spawn right in front of you.

This game is possibly the funnest racing game that I've ever played. So, you'd think that my score would be higher... The Good:
600+ vehicles at launch with the most versatility I've ever seen. The map is smaller than The Crew 2, but it looks way better with a very vibrant and rich Hawaiian island landscape. The graphics are not the best I've ever seen, but are more than enough to enjoy at 60fps with HDR popping those vibrant colors out. The ability to switch between air, land, and sea is new to me and only adds to the freedom and versatility of exploring an open world map. The driving physics, although not quite as realistic as Forza or Grand Turismo, are a significant upgrade from The Crew 2 as an arcade-racer with more semi-realistic physics. The online content is packed each week and with new themes each month. They've already added a small island with a new racing playlist and it seems like the game is going to be pushing new content every month. The vehicle customization is versatile enough to enjoy and feel unique. The Bad:
The upgrade system for vehicles parts is probably the worst that I've ever used, plagued with overcomplexity and tedious grinding. This game claims to be crossplay, but that only works in the grand race, not in free drive. "Pay to Play" is definitely involved with the very special customizations like underglow kits, tire smoke, etc. You cannot earn enough to buy more than a few major items unless you drop your credit card and buy more "Crew Bucks" and this game was already $70 at launch. It's called "The Crew", yet whenever you're in a crew, your buddy might just randomly disappear in front of you which is defeating the entire premise. It also feels like its development is held back by constantly catering to last-gen consoles instead of only focusing on new consoles and PCs with updated hardware.

The Purrfect Cat Game! This game was a breath of fresh air, genre-wise. The first I know of ever as a semi-realistic cat simulator. Between the fluid cat maneuvering mechanics to the beautiful, neon-lit, semi-open-world environments to the oddly cool and original storyline involving a robot cyber city, this game topped out the coolness meter pretty quickly for me. The optimization they apparently did on multiple platforms seemed to scream quality and consistency to me. On the PS5, the dynamic environments really show off their smooth detail in what feels like a solid 60fps. I absolutely love this game and the only reason why it's not getting a 10 is because I know it's not perfect as a video game alone. The cat, although super cute and totally enjoyable to control, could have used a little more visual detail; but I am really nitpicking here. I think I paid $30 for this game, full price, and after playing it, I would happily pay double if I had to rebuy it. This is a perfect cat game.
