Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest
9

Apr 7, 2016
Concept: Build your team from a big selection of recruits and strategically win battles on a grid based battlefield. Story: The story is about what any Fire Emblem fan would expect meaning it's not on Final Fantasy's standards but it still has some good moments thrown in. Graphics: The graphics have been slightly improved since the last Fire Emblem title but there are some frame rate issues during the battle scenes. The cg's look incredible but there aren't many. Voice acting:: Voice acting is good meaning every voice fits each character, but there is so little of it. I'd say only about five to ten percent of the dialogue is voiced. Gameplay: This is where Fire Emblem shines and the this latest entry doesn't let us down. I'll delve more into this further down in this. Gameplay time: If you only intend to play one path, you can expect twenty five hours of gameplay time. If you intend to play all three, expect seventy five hours of gameplay time. Each path is about twenty five hours long. Music: Fire Emblem Fates had the best music that has been in any Fire Emblem game to date. It is all instrumental type songs with the exception of one vocalized song. Most of the music has a medieval feel. In depth review From the first Fire Emblem game to be released in the U.S. to Fire Emblem Fates, the Fire Emblem games have constantly evolved. These games have stretched from the Gameboy Advance console to the Nintendo 3ds, with the Gamecube, Wii, and Nintendo ds having their own Fire Emblem titles as well. Unfortunately, the series had been experiencing declining sales which had destined Fire Emblem Awakening to be the final Fire Emblem game to ever be made. However, Awakening garnered an astonishing amount of sales which has led Intelligent Systems to make another game entitled Fire Emblem Fates. So let's us continue with this review and see what Intelligent Systems has brought to us with Fire Emblem Fates. The gameplay has always been what Fire Emblem fans love most and Fates will give fans an extraordinary amount of gameplay time. With three paths to play, Fates will keep gamers busy for quite some time. The gameplay itself has changed since Awakening. One of these changes is a castle that you can build an arena, armory, and other helpful building on. You can also battle other players castles wirelessly, which grants various benefits upon victory. Another newly added element concerns weapon durability. Remember how you would constantly have to change out weapons when durability ran low in Awakening, well give that a friendly wave goodbye. The weapons in Fates have no durability and can also be forged together to create a slightly more powerful weapon. Staves and healing items still have durability in Fates though. The three paths differ in several ways. I'll list the most important points of each path here. Conquest is the most difficult path as there is no way to earn experience points outside the story missions and paralogues, which means you have to be careful to not let your higher level recruits steal all the exp points as the higher the level the recruit, the less exp obtained. Birthright is the easiest of the three as you can level up on levels outside the campaign. Revelations difficulty is in between Conquest and Birthright. This path essentially combines the other two which means players get every recruit from both of the other paths. This is considered to be the final path and should only be played after playing both Conquest and Birthright. The gameplay consist of choosing a team of your favorite recruits and battling on a grid based battlefield. There is much strategy involved as certain recruits have weaknesses, recruits can be paired up for a stat boost, and certain weapons fare better against others. New classes have been added to the mix including ninjas ,maids, and samurais. Ninja's can debuff the enemy which comes in quiet handy on boss fights. Leveling up recruits to level ten or above allows the recruit to change into an advance class. The player will have two classes to choose from when changing class, each with their unique qualities. There are some problems with this game including the customization of the main character, and the penalty you face if you decide to marry your main character to someone of the same gender.. The customization is very minimal which makes it hard to create the character you want. Marrying someone of the same gender will knock you out of a recruit because your main character won't be able to have a child with that recruit. Closing comments: This is a game I would reccomend to anyone from child to adult. Buying the game and the two additional paths will cost about eighty dollars but you get enough playtime to make it worthwhile. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

Demon Gaze

User ScoreDanHazy
Apr 3, 2016
Concept: Battle through waves of enemies in a dungeon crawler with enough strategy and fanservice to satisfy any gamer. Story: The story is intriguing with humorous and perverted dialogue mixed in. Gameplay: The gameplay feels like a real adventure because of the constant struggle for money, which means players can never get everything they need before setting out for a dungeon. This makes players consider their purchases carefully. I'll delve more into gameplay further down in this review. Graphics: The graphics aren't bad for a ps vita game and the dungeons look incredible. Gameplay time: My gameplay time was forty five hours which doesn't include the endgame content, which can claim an additional twenty hours. Music: The music was outstanding. Players can expect upbeat relaxing songs with some japanese vocalized songs mixed in. A couple of dungeons had no music whatsoever though. These dungeons were an under water dungeon that only had water swishing sound effects and a palace dungeon that only had someone speaking inaudibly. Voice acting: Voice acting was high quality with every voice fitting each character. The game was only voice acted about thirty percent of the time however. This game is voiced in english. In depth review Great gameplay, perverted, charming, and challenging. These are all elements found in Demon Gaze. Demon Gaze is a dungeon crawler that demands players to strategically battle their enemies or otherwise, face a gameover screen. This game prides itself on it's difficulty no doubt, as it's the most difficult rpg to be released for quiet some time. This may make gamers reconsider purchasing this game, which is understandable, but many gamers found this difficulty to be refreshing as so many rpg's today hold your hand the whole way through. So if you aren't afraid of a little challenge, then grab a Pico hammer, befriend a demon, and what the hell, bring Etna along and venture through the world of Demon Gaze. Let's talk about the gameplay difficulty, which is what made Demon Gaze so unique. Some of the reasons the difficulty is so high are; limited supply of revival items, a constant struggle for money, and powerful enemies that can kill a couple of your party members before you even get a chance to act. The reason the player is so short of money is the fact that the player has to pay rent whenever they return to the inn, which is your base. This makes every venture outside the inn an important one as players need to make each one profitable by fighting enough battles to actually profit when you return. If the player doesn't have enough money when they return, then they fall into debt. On the other hand, paying rent on time grants the players gifts from time to time. The gameplay involves much strategy as players make their own unique team, choose which demons they take into battle, and choose which stat gets boosted when obtaining a level up. Making a team is very customizable as players can choose between many different classes and race's. This allows players to make each party member exactly how they wish. When making these characters, players get to choose their appearance from about sixty different character potraits. Etna, Flonne, Sicily, and Asagi can be bought for a cheap price as dlc. The boss fights in this game usually require some amount of prior grinding. Which isn't so bad because battles can be fast forwarded , taking very little time. These boss fights are demons which after defeat, will join the party. These demons can be summoned during battle to attack, heal, or help defend. Each demon has their unique qualities which leads to some decision making when deciding which demons would best be suited for each boss fight. This game does state that when creating the main character, that they will always be referred to as a male, regardless of what gender you choose. This is quiet astonishing I know, and completly unacceptable. What's the word....flabbergasted. Yes, I was flabbergasted when I read this and it was the only reason I didn't choose a female. Closing comments: Demon Gaze is not for everyone as difficult as it is, but if you are up for a challenging rpg that always feels rewarding when emerging on the victorious side of battle, then join the proud gamers who have conquered this demon. There is also another dungeon crawler for ps vita made by the same people who brought you Demon Gaze. It is titled Operation Abyss and is said to be a more serious game with little to no fanservice. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive

User ScoreDanHazy
Apr 2, 2016
Concept: Explore a haunted school while avoiding traps and ghost. Music: Music ranges from rock to upbeat nonchalant tunes. The opening song is one of the best I've heard in video games. It starts with a somewhat spooky acoustic guitar riff and then kicks in high gear with distorted guitar and vocals. Graphics: The graphics are chibistyle meaning that everyone has a bobblehead doll look. The character art is high quality though as in the previous Corpse Party titles. Story: The overall story was good but the ending was rather **** ending was about ten minutes of dialogue. Voice acting: This game was voice acted continuously and with high quality voice acting. It is of course all japanese with no option for an english dub. Gameplay time: My gameplay time was about fifteen to twenty hours. Not bad considering the price of the game at this time. There was some endgame content but very little. In depth review The Corpse Party games started with a game that was made from RPG Maker that had graphics comparable to a gameboy advance game. These games have since evolved to a chibistyle look which might make some gamers wonder if the Corpse Party series has lost their dark and graphic feel. Be rest assured, they have not. There is plenty of people having their heads eaten and being sliced in half to satisfy anyone. The gameplay in this game consist of exploring with a flashlight while dodging floortraps and ghost. In order to advance the plot, we simply walk through a hallway or into a room to initiate a cutscene and that's the basic gist of the gameplay. There are newly added gameplay elements that weren't present in past Corpse Party titles including; a flashlight the protagonist can use to spot and avoid traps, the ability to hide from ghost by hiding inside a cabinet, and a run feature accompanied by a stamina bar. One might think these newly added gameplay elements would enhance the Corpse Party experience but sadly, that is not the case. Blood Drive had the worst gameplay of any other Corpse Party game. The floortraps litter the floor and become a nuisance more than anything else. The ability to hide from ghost doesn't do much as you will most likely encounter the same ghost again before long, and the run feature isn't very helpful as the stamina bar runs out far too quickly, at which point you have to let it recharge for quiet some time. Specifically, there ar two gameplay sequences that will determine if you are a true fan of the Corpse Party story. The first is a gameplay sequence where you are required to explore a large area in search of keys or boards to unblock paths so you can advance the plot. This sounds simple enough except the fact that you will constantly be chased by a ghost or maybe even two or three at the time. These ghost are just as fast as the protagonist and when they get close enough, they attack you. The rooms you will have to walk into usually have a ghost residing in them, which will begin chasing you when you enter. This makes exploration next to impossible in this particular chapter but only during this chapter. The second gameplay sequence that is overly difficult is one with swinging **** player is required to dodge these of course but the precise timing required is ridiculous. I personally died and restarted this part about fifteen times. I eventually got the timing down to a science enabling me to progress. That brings up the problem of the loading times. The player can expect about a fifteen second loading delay whenever they die and reload their save file. Also, bringing up the item menu has it's unusually long loading time as does walking into rooms. All of these annoyances combine to make the gameplay a mess that will make many grimace as they wade through it. Closing comments: I would recommend this game to he diehard Corpse Party fan as it concludes the story from the previous two games, but not without some discussion of the horrible gameplay. Also worth mentioning is that this game comes with an artbook and two cd's that include all the music from all the Corpse Party games. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows

Concept: Explore a haunted school in first person view. The player finds items such as keys to unlock additional areas to explore which advances the plot. Story: Book of Shadows digs into each characters personal stories which will help you get to know their personalities better. This game was somewhat in between a sequel and a prequel so you should play the first Corpse Party game before playing this one. Music: The music was composed of instrumentals along with a few japanese vocalized songs. Voice acting: Though this game is voiced in japanese, I could tell that the voice actors were talented. This game was continuously voice acted as well. There is no option for an english dub though. (just english subtitles) Gameplay time: I had beat this game within thirteen hours, but considering the game cost twenty dollars, it wasn’t too surprising. Gameplay: The game hardly had any gameplay but was mostly comprised of reading dialogue. I’ll delve more into this further down in this review. In depth review Gruesome deaths: check. Panty shots: check. Horrible gameplay: check and check. Hello fellow gamers,, I'm here with another Corpse Party review for everyone. If you are looking for a game with a dark and gory storyline then you are looking for Corpse Party: Book of Shadows. From people being flung to a wall at remarkable speed leaving nothing but a stained wall, to people having the bottom half of their body chopped off, Book of Shadows has you covered. So without further ado, let’s dig in. Let’s talk gameplay, there is very little in Book of Shadows in comparison to the first Corpse Party title. There are no chase scenes in Book of Shadows which some might view as a good thing. Why? Because the first Corpse Party had such horrible controls during chase scenes which greatly hindered the players ability to actually escape, that many gamers weren’t ready for a repeat performance. Instead, Book of Shadows decided to go for more of a visual novel style of gameplay which means it mostly consist of reading dialogue. What little gameplay involved is surprisingly mundane. Players simply point and click objects in a room to uncover items. Players are then tasked with the objective of figuring out how they can use this item to further progress in the game. Such as using a plank to walk across a gap in the floor or using matches and an alcohol lamp to burn hair wrapped around a doorway. Needless to say, the gameplay isn’t what makes the Corpse Party games, but rather the story. The story is dark and gory, while being very descriptive. Such as someone digging their fingers into a corpse’s wound untill their fingertips reached the bone, which gave them a feeling of ecstasy. Closing comments: Make sure to play the first Corpse Party first as the story is connected to this game. The first Corpse Party game cost twenty dollars as does Book of Shadows. There is also a third and final entry in the Corpse Party series called Blood Drive that is now available. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Atelier Totori Danganronpa Fire Emblem Note: This game contains a galore of fan service so this will naturally be a mature review. Concept: Battle your way through enemies by unleashing your cards on a three by seven grid and save the world. Evolve these cards by rubbing and poking thier private areas. Gameplay: Gameplay consist of card battles fought on a three by seven grid. Whenever your not fighting card battles, your opening card packs and evolving your cards through rubbing and poking monster girls. I'll delve more into gameplay further down in this review. Music: The music ranged from rock to nonchalant tunes which were high quality. I caught myself nodding my head to some of these tunes. There was also a good variety. Voice acting: The voice acting was good quality and the game was continuesly voice acted. If you didn't already know, this game is voiced in japanese with no option for an english dub. (just english subtitiles) Graphics: The graphics were chibistyle which some people will undoubtedly hate. In case you don't know, chibistyle refers to short bobblehead type characters. The character art is high quality though. Gameplay time: My gameplay time was twenty seven hours upon completion. There is some endgame content as well. Story: The story was weak and the ending was shabby. It was quiet obvious this wasn't the focus of this game. That's not to say it was unwatchable though but just don't expect any Final Fantasy moments. In depth review: Let's just get it out there, rubbing and poking monster girls private areas to evolve them is like Pokemon on crack. Each card can go through three of these rub and poke scenarios untill they reach thier last form, which by the way, is usually half naked. Each time you rub the cards, they lose some of thier clothing, eventually leaving them in nothing but thier unmentionables. You will see see a females genitalia through her vaguely see through panties and see the sides of some female genitalia on another card and you will see plenty of rear. Also worth mentioning, Neptune from Hyperdemension Neptunia makes an appearance as a playable card that you obtain early in the campaign. Rubbing her works slightly differently than other cards as each time you rub her, she switches her forms. Each of her forms has thier unique perks and drawbacks. Onto the topic of gameplay, this game involved quite a bit of strategy as you build your deck and battle through the campaign or against other players online. Every card has a color which plays a big role in strategy. Whenever you play three cards of the same color consecutively, every card currently on the battlefield gets a stat boost and you also recieve three extra mana. Mana is used to play each card; weaker cards cost less mana and more powerful cards cost more mana. Another reason this game involves strategy is the fact that some cards have perks. These perks vary from hp regen to the abilty to counterattack, so this can play a big role in what cards you choose to play with. Some cards also have skills that can be activated using mana. These skills vary from giving other cards stat boost to dealing damage to enemy cards. Every cards falls into a class and race and thier are four classes total; melee, healer, buffer, and range. Thier are numerous races ranging from dragon to beast and two cards of the same race can be fused together to combine thier stats on the battlefeild. As you can see, there is an abundance of methods to choose from when forming your unique strategy. This games difficulty was somewhat too easy as the computer player would put thier healers on the front lines or put a long range archer in front of one of your melee units. This still didn't make the game overly easy but you can expect never to see a gameover screeen. Thier is no option to increase the difficulty either. Because of this, the battles run stale towards the end after you have perfected your strategy. You can battle other players wireleslly which should prove to be more of a challenge then the campaign. There is also dlc that allows you to buy card packs with cards that aren't feautered in the campaign. These card packs cost between fifty cents to a dollar for a three pack. Closing comments: I would reccomend this game to anyone with a locking doorknob as playing this in public is not only disturbing, it's wrong. This game currently cost twenty dollars on psn, which is quite a deal considering the game is twenty seven hours long with some endgame content. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gqmer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Fire Emblem Atelier Totori Danganronpa I played this game on my samsung tablet, which overheated my battery when played for longer than half an hour. This is not the games fault but the tablets. IPad is most definently the way to go for gaming on tablets. THE BAD: There are no bad points to list about this game. A perfect tower defense for a great price. I believe it is free now and Frontiers and Origins are about three dollars for each I believe. IN DEPTH REVIEW: Plenty of upgrades, You wouldn't max out everything until after you beat the campaign, which then unlocks the bonus levels. In depth strategy that makes you think outside the box every so often. No, you can't use the same setup for every level. Plenty of different enemies with different weaknesses and speeds. You unlock 3 heroes during the campaign, each with their unique stats. Plenty of little quirks hidden in the game, such as breaking the acorn free from a glacier by tapping the screen, for the squirrel in ice age. A beetle juice reference, though I never watched the movie, I recognized the guy with the black and white suit. There are others but I wouldn't want to ruin the fun of finding them yourselves Paying real money to play this game isn't necessary at all. You can buy additional heroes but the three you get for free are just fine. You also obtain gems after each level you play and with these, you can purchase bombs to blow up enemies on a difficult level or spend them on a money bag which will help you build the towers more quickly. Each of these only have one use of course, but you get plenty of gems for free to keep a decent supply of these. Also, each tower has its own special abilities that you can unlock after upgrading it enough times. From instantly killing one enemy every 20 seconds, to poisoning enemys, to shooting missiles that never miss. It's all **** also have a special move that rains down meteors upon the enemy that you can upgrade during the game. The upgrades increase damage and increase recharge speed. You also get soldiers to disperse on the battle field about every 10 seconds. You can also upgrade these for more damage output and better armor. That about finishes this review, I hope it helps. Also, you will get about 15 to 20 hours of gameplay from this game. Not bad considering it's free. Be sure to check out the other kingdom rush games as well, Origins and Frontiers which are also great games..

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I"ll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Atelier Totori Fire Emblem THE GOOD: STORY: Great storyline that has one ofthe best endings I've seen in RPG's. VOICE ACTING: Voice acting is top notch and there's quiet a bit of it. GRAPHICS: The graphics are good for a PS2 game. MUSIC: Music is some of the best you will hear in an RPG. From jazz to rock to slow piano solos. GAMEPLAY: Gameplay involves quiet a bit of strategy. Fusing your favorite personas and exploiting enemies weaknesses (if any) is quiet fun. I'll delve more into gameplay further down in the IN DEPTH REVIEW section. GAME LENGTH:Rather a long game, 60 to 70 hours for Persona 3, then about 30 hours in the expansion. A great deal for the price. IN DEPTH REVIEW: You can have a party of up to four characters in this game, but you only have direct control over the protagonist in battles. This creates quiet a few issues. You can assign tactics to the other three in your party such as, full assault, heal and support, and others; but this doesn't come in as handy as you may think. Such as a party member using a healing item that heals one member only a little, when you really needed them to cast a spell to heal the whole party. Also, a party member might try to put a status effect on an enemy when they could have just attacked and finished them off. They will also try to use status effects in boss fights, when the bosses cannot be effected by any ailments. This causes much frustration of course, and may lead you to a game over screen. Also, the enemies have instant kill moves. Imagine that you have been grinding for about an hour and then you get wiped out by an enemy who kills with an instant kill spell and thus, come to the beloved game over screen that you will undoubtedly see many times throughout the game. This isn't uncommon either as the enemies have just of good of a chance of instantly killing you as you do them. There is something you can aquire throughout the game called homucolous that will prevent the protagonist from dying from an instant kill move but only them. The rest of the party can still go down in a heartbeat and leave you all alone for a beating. There is also an accessory you can obtain for the other party members that nullifies an instant kill move but these are quiet rare and I believe they can only be obtained late in the game. These things can be quiet the headache and will cause you to waste many hours in the game but, somehow it is still worth it. You should know that The Answer expansion is a down scaled version of the original Persona 3. No social links, no compendium to register personas, none of the advanced fusions, only two or three personas can be fused together at the time. No request from the velvet room. Still, the expansion is still worth playing as it tells the events after Persona 3. Still enjoyable to play also but it is quiet the grind fest as its difficulty is higher than Persona 3. It actually states this before you begin playing. Also, the final boss in Persona 3 could make you jump the ship on this game. It's about an hour to an hour and half long boss fight, and at the very end, the boss can charm one of your party members and then that party member can heal the boss completly. So back to square one you go and you already used all your healing items, so what now? That is if the boss doesn't completly annihilate you to begin with. I died four times on this boss fight and each time it was toward the end of the boss fight because that's when the bosses difficulty rises. So I would say I spent about 5 to 6 hours on this boss fight. You also have to fight this boss before a certain day, so that means you can't grind for level ups if you wait untill the last day and then save over your save file before the boss fight. Overall, a fantastic RPG with a few headaches but still quiet a gem. You may consider Persona 4 over this because if memory serves right, the enemies wasn't as likely to instantly kill you in Persona 4. Also I liked Persona 4's characters and the games tone more than Persona 3. Persona 3 has a dark tone and Persona 4 has a charming eerie tone.I would of course recommend both. If you don't already know, Persona 4 has released a new and improved version of Persona 4 for the PS Vita. Also Persona 3 did also but I believe it may have been for PSP. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games . Atelier Totori Danganronpa Fire Emblem THE BAD: So, as you may have heard, the game has blurry backgrounds. This was intentional and not many liked this. Believe me, it will bother you for the first few hours, but you quickly get used to it and won't even notice it after awhile. THE GOOD: GRAPHICS: Great look and art style. Very unique and colorful. This is part of what made the Wind Waker such a gem. MUSIC: Great music, some of the best music you will hear in a platformer. GAMEPLAY: In my opinion, the Wind Waker has the best gameplay of any other Zelda title because they took out much of the complexity of the puzzles that is in a usual Zelda title. CLOSING COMMENTS: I'm not really a platformer guy, but this game was an exception. It's the best platformer I have played and I've played quiet a few in my day. Super Mario Sunshine runs a close second, but I still have to give the prize to the Wind Waker. I recommend this game to anyone under 13. It may not be a game for every adult out there. So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Fire Emblem Atelier Totori. I'll say this first, I can't understand why this game got such a great score. This game score blew my mind. You should also know I didn't finish this game. I got about 10 hours into it and called it quits. THE GOOD: Music was subpar, not really good but not bad THE BAD: STORY: Story was bland. Also had horrible dialogue. I felt like it insulted my intelligence. Was childish and very bland. Maybe a child could enjoy the dialogue but I don't think any adult could enjoy it. CHARACTER CAST: Horrible characters. The main character is a cocky little boy. The little boys mentor is some brown creature with a big nose named Cid. Who just happened to find the little boy in the forest all alone and asked him to join his clan and then all was good and everyone was happy. That's the kinda dialogue I warned about. Other units you recruit are just as bad. A hound dog in knights armor. A brown creature in mages robe. A shark with a hatchet! I just couldn't enjoy playing with these types of characters. GAMEPLAY: Game play wasn't great either. Was far too slow paced and there was no way to speed up the battles. The game play just felt like I was doing one boring quest after another. CLOSING COMMENTS: There are quiet a few other games that beat out this game in every way. Luminous Arc 1 and 2 are great games with almost the exact gameplay. Fire Emblem series are rather similar to these games as well. I'm a hard core rpg gamer and I couldn't even sit through this. I've played many many rpgs that aren't necessarily great or fun to play. I truly regret buying this game. I would rather sit in a car in a parking lot and watch pigeons eat fast food strewn over the asphalt than play this game. Yes, I really did watch those pigeons instead of playing this game. So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Atelier Totori Fire Emblem THE GOOD: MUSIC: Music is amazing. Very unique. VOICE ACTING: Plenty of voice acting and every voice fits every character. CHARACTER CAST: Great cast of characters, each unique. STORY: Amazing story. Also has an amazing ending that only leaves a slight cliff hanger compared to Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc. GAME LENGTH: 37 hours and there is some endgame content. IN DEPTH REVIEW: The class trials have been improved over the first Danganronpa. No longer will piecing together the magna of the crime be a headache. They now tell you what is going on in each picture. So no more misunderstood pictures. Also, new mini games have been added to freshen things up. There are fan service moments in this game. Plenty of panty and bikini shots. This game is also closely connected to the first Danganronpa, so I don't recommend playing only this one. It wrapped up the first Danganronpa cliff hanger rather nicely. Of course you get left with a second cliff hanger in Danganronpa 2, but not as dumb founding as the Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc. Nothing bad to say comes to mind about this game. I enjoyed every minute which is quiet rare for a game to pull off. I definently recommend this game. I would even recommend it at the 40 dollar price tag. A mind blowing experience from beginning to end. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Fire Emblem Atelier Totori THE GOOD: GRAPHICS: Graphics and illustrations are great. CHARACTER CAST: Great character cast and character interaction. Every character is unique. MUSIC: The music is great. Very unique music that gives an odd vibe. VOICE ACTING: Great voice acting and it's voiced most of the time. GAMEPLAY: You explore for clues and then use your evidence at a trial. A trial consist of listening to your fellow classmates to determine the culprit. You will also play some minigames during these trials. The class trials eventually get stale and there are some other hangups I'll list in THE BAD section of this review below. THE BAD: The class trials are a part of this game that consist of mini games and trying to figure out how to prove someone wrong by using a statement against another statement that reveals the truth. Danganronpa kept throwing new things at you every class trial. An attempt to keep things fresh. It still got stale though after the first few trials. You also have to assemble a magna showing how the events unfolded in order. This was probably the most difficult part because the pictures could be miscomprehended. This was my biggest gripe about this game. Also, pink blood. Didn't care for it for myself. Definently took out some of the edge and creepiness that I was expecting from this game. Danganronpa 2 has pink blood as well but you can get past this. Just disappointing at first. This is nonetheless a great game and I would recommend it. Also, it has girls in underwear and a bath scene for those that are interested in that aspect of that game. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Fire Emblem Atelier Totori Firstly, you should know this review is of the story mode, not the classic mode. For those who don't know, this game has two modes to choose from when starting a game. The story mode is the one with a plot and voice acting. The classic mode is choosing your teams jobs from the start, unlike the story mode where you are given a party of five members and can only change their class after reaching level thirty. THE BAD: I found the ending to be disappointing in my opinion. It felt rushed and was very short. Changing your class in story mode does not change the portrait of the character. So, if you change a defender to mage or whatever else, the picture will still show the defender turned mage still holding a shield and sword. Now, this isn't a major gripe of mine but I just wanted to mention it because it was one of the reasons I didn't change classes. THE GOOD: MUSIC: The music was awesome. From slow piano to roaring guitar solo, it's in this game. I found myself nodding my head to some of the battle music. GRAPHICS: Graphics are good for 3DS. The dungeons are each unique, dessert, sea, forest, jungle, demolished city, it's all there. The dungeons were. nice to look at. Nothing ugly to say the least. GAMEPLAY: The battle system is turn based and quite fun. Also, the level up system is great. Every time you gain a level, you get a point to distribute to a skill or Stat boost. So you can take your character in the direction you want to. Well, no heavy knight combined mage, but still. I felt it was very nicely done. VOICE ACTING: The voice acting is great as well. Even Chie's voice actor from Persona 4 is in this game. STORY: The dialogue wasn't overly childish as many other games I have played have been. The story was good. Just the ending was disappointing because it was too short. CLOSING COMMENTS: I would recommend this game to anyone who is a hard core RPG gamer. Bear in mind this is a dungeon crawler and it's not for everyone. There were times when I would get slightly nauseated from the dungeon crawling. This isn't unusual for an RPG though but definently expect it from dungeon crawlers. Also note, if you are an adult and are looking for a more mature dungeon crawler, then check out Demon Gaze and Dungeon Travelers 2 for the PS Vita. That wraps it up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Atelier Totori Fire emblem THE GOOD: MUSIC: Music is top notch, from rock and roll to rap music. GRAPHICS: The art style is unique, most everyone is skin and bones. The graphics are what you would expect from Nintendo DS. This game also has a unique vibe that you will only get from this game. A somewhat emo thug feel. GAMEPLAY: The game play is awesome and the level up system is great. I'll delve more in to gameplay further down. STORY: The story is awesome. Above the usual. ENDGAME CONTENT: There are extra bonuses once a play through has been completed, which allows you to unlock some extra story. GAME LENGTH: About 20 to 25 hours long but that doesn't include the endgame content. THE BAD: There is nothing bad to list in my opinion. IN DEPTH REVIEW: The game play breakdown is this, you control two different characters, each on their own screen. The top screen is your partners screen where you use the cross pad or the buttons to control them. They can attack by pressing left or right, and can jump, block, or dodge by pressing down and up on the cross pad. You can build up a special move to unleash on the top screen by various methods throughout the game. They are fairly simple to build up, but can sometimes get to be too much when you also trying to pay attention to the bottom screen so you may just want to put your partner on auto pilot. You can turn this future on and off whenever you like. The protagonist has the bottom screen in combat. He can attack using pins, which are basically moves he can use by different methods of using the stylus, such as tapping an enemy or scratching an area or slashing across the protagonist to fire bullets in the direction of the slash. There are many pins which you can upgrade and sometimes evolve. One even requires you to shout into the microphone of the DS. The protagonist can also dash by being dragged with the stylus which makes him invulnerable during the dash. The level up system is very nice also. You can level up the pins which will sometimes evolve. You can also feed the protagonist and partner which boost their stats permanently. You also can equip four different items to the characters which increase stats and sometimes a ability such as extra defense or more experience gained in battle and many others. That wraps this review up, a truly great game that I would recommend to anyone. You can even find it in Gamestop quiet often for a rather cheap price.

I'll list my theee of my favorite games so you will know what kind of gamer is writing this review. Danganronpa Fire Emblem Atelier Totori THE GOOD: GRAPHICS: Awesome look. The lips move strangely though. Not like Persona Arena where as they move very fast but they move rather slow and roboticly. STORY: An ok storyline but not great by any means. GAMEPLAY: Fun gameplay. Challenging at times but difficulty can be tuned down if need be. VOICE ACTING: Voice acted almost continously. Excellent voice acting for the most part. MUSIC: Great music, the special box edition come with two cds which contain a total of about 60 tracks. About 10 of those are 20 second tracks that are a small solo. THE BAD: Naoto has a new voice actor. Immediatly apparent if you are a Persona fan. Hated the change over myself. The new voice actor has more of a boy like tone. Similar to Ken from Persona Ultimax. GAME LENGTH: Short story mode. About 10 hours total. Thats about it. Hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Fire emblem Atelier Totori THE GOOD: GAMEPLAY: Fantastic gameplay, loads of fun. There are a lot of recruitable characters, I would say about thirty in game. You can recruit some in the endgame as well. Support conversations during battle delve into their personalities. I'll delve more into gameplay further down in this review. MUSIC: Music is violins and trumpets and keyboards mostly. Nothing stands out as great as far as the games music. STORY: Story is good but not great. Intriguing at certain moments but mostly a very average storyline. GRAPHICS: Graphics are what you would expect from a gba game GAME LENGTH: Lots of gameplay time. I spent about 65 hours in this game but that includes the bonus content such as recruiting the extra characters after completion of the game. THE BAD: There wasn't anything bad to list about this game in my opinion. IN DEPTH REVIEW: The gameplay is strategy based. You first prepare your army such as picking the recruits you want to take into battle and equipping weapons and healing items to them. Each recruit can have five items on their person at a time. You can scan the level beforehand to see which recruits are best for the level and also see the enemy's items and also to see if there are any recruitable characters on the level. Some recruits can be missed and not recruited if you do not talk to them with a certain recruit. You can also change your recruits starting position before you begin the level. To actually play the level, you must meet the requirements to beat that level. Most of the time the requirements are to kill all enemies. To do this, you move your units around a grid based level. Attacking enemy units or retreating when necessary. Enemies also come for your party so building a defensive wall is important at times. The weapons you combat with matter in this game, swords are better against axes, and lances are better against swords. Magic also has its weapon triangle guidelines. There are also archers in this game and healers. A couple of special units as well such as a dancer which can give one unit an extra turn during one of the players turns. I'll list some character classes, Troubadour: a units with great movement that can heal only. Knight: a unit with little movement range but great defense. Archer: a unit who has an extra attack range but cannot attack back when in close combat. Mage: a unit who can attack one or two spaces away with magic. Cavalier: a horseback unit that can use lances and swords. Thief: a unit who can open chest and steal certain items from enemy units. Can also attack but not very effectivly. Units can change class after reaching level 10-20. The advanced class has many bonuses including an extra 20 level ups the recruit can obtain and sometimes the recruit who changed class can use extra weapons or magic or staves. Every recruit has two classes to choose from when they change class. Each with their unique strong points. When a recruit dies on the level, you LOSE that unit PERMANENTLY. This is the Fire Emblem way. There are arenas in this game on certain levels that let's you fight for money and experience. You can max a recruit or all recruits at these arenas but your unit will be forever lost if you die in the arena. You can suspend on levels and then soft reset the system to save your progress so you will not waste hours at the arena when a unit dies. Simply load the suspended data and restart your progress from that point. I spent many hours at the arenas, it was one of the things I liked most about this game that isn't in every Fire Emblem title. SIDE NOTE: Also, this game is rare now and most copies for sale are very expensive. I lucked out and got a copy that works from **** for about 20 dollars. Most copies were in the 100 dollar range as I recall. That just shows how great this game is I suppose but I would recommend this game at the 100 dollar price tag. That how great I think this game is. You will likely play it more than once so you could put over a 100 hours into this game which equals out to a dollar an hour to play. Not to bad. Also, the other Fire Emblem titles are very expensive as well except for Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates which were released rather recently. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games.. Danganronpa Fire emblem Artelier Totori (I'm giving this a 7 out of 10 because that is the score I would give a game that I didn't particularly enjoy playing or hate playing.) IN DEPTH REVIEW: I'll start with the dialogue, THERE IS AN ABUNDANCE OF IT. I would say during my play through that I spent 80 percent if the time reading, 15 percent of the time fighting, and 5 percent of the time rolling my eyes when I was trying to back out of a shop to save it. Sometimes the dialogue will hold you up when you was just wanna call it quits for a day. Why is it so much reading? Well, a big part of this game is synthesizing items and there are a lot of items to make. You get a paragraph or two to read when you make an item. It's pointless gibberish about what the characters think of it. Then when you exit the shop menu, you typically get another paragraph or two to read about the story going on with the shops owners or about new recipes. If you're a typical adult playing this game, then halfway though completion of the game, you will be skipping the characters thoughts on the new item created. It's gets old rather quick. The scenes about the store owners lives are slightly more interesting so I managed to watch those without complete boredom. The games main story wasn't anything special either. I found the ending disappointing as well. After I've spent about 70 hours playing through a game, I expect a ending that will stay with me awhile, but this game decided it wasn't necessary. The battle system is slightly entertaining. You have moves assigned to each of the four buttons and each move has a certain amount of uses for each turn. You can increase the moves count or other various benefits can be given to the moves through equipment. Every move can have three pieces of equipment tied to it. Some moves are better at breaking the opponent while another hits a group of enemies. There is no clock in the battle system, meaning that if you stay still, enemies do not attack you. You also defend against enemy attacks by pressing circle at the right time to help negate some of the damage you recieve. The idea is to protect the heroine until she has gathered enough energy to unleash her song, which deals damage to all enemy waves. One thing I particularly liked about this game was the fact you could fight enough waves of enemies in an area to clear them out of it completly. No more battles so that you can explore that area in peace. The game set on normal difficulty is far to easy. I only used healing items maybe 3 times through the entire playthrough. If you are looking for any kind of challenge, set the difficulty to hard. I also experienced some lag on my game at the beginning and the final boss fight. These are the only times I experienced lag so it wasn't very bothersome. The music was great and the graphic was ok. One of the characters had half her rear showing through the game and the graphics really didn't work for it. Also, expect to see the same npcs on the same scene. I was also surprised to see a teen rating on this game. I believe the esrb may have missed something. During a purification ceremony, which is where you can install crystals into you or the heroines arm, legs, breast, stomach,or head, there was some unexpected camel toe. There was a clear indention in the swimsuit. I know that might not technically be considered nudity but it doesnt get closer than that. Also you will see plenty of rear from the heroines and some of the other female characters in this game. In my opinion, these games have steadily went down in playabilty. The first being ar tonelico for ps2. This game was great, really a perfect ps2 rpg. Ar Tonelico 2 was good too but not as great as the first, as well as Ar Tonelico 3. The new Ar Nosurge is a different direction in these games, hence the different name. If you are looking for a great RPG with about the same sexy tone as Ar Nosurge, I recommend the Ar Tonelico series over this. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Atelier Totori Fire emblem Danganronpa IN DEPTH REVIEW: Lightning Returns had its good points and it's bad points. The opening cg and the ending cg was awesome as expected from a Final Fantasy but some of the in game graphics were sad. I believe I seen a picture of an actual roasted turkey cut and pasted onto a plate in the game. The trees looked like paper. Some of the costumes didn't look so great when Lightning ran or jumped. One was a dress, and when she ran up hill, her legs had robotic movement. You will see repeated npcs with only slight changes, such as hair style and voice. Other than these things, the rest of the game looked ok. The gameplay was interesting enough. It was challenging on normal mode. I died at least 10 times throughout the game. The boss fights were the real challenge in this game. Don't be surprised if you find yourself surfing the Internet looking for strategies to get past some bosses. You do not level up Lightning in this game, instead you upgrade abilities, buy better equipement, and complete quest to better your stats. You assign an outfit with its own unique stats or auto ability, equip 2 accessories with their own stat boost or auto ability, and then equip the equipment and abilities of your liking. Plenty of customization there. You also can equip an adornment for cosmetic reasons. They do not improve Lightning's stats in any way but are purely cosmetic. Not really any complaints about the gameplay but it didn't pull me in personally. I just felt that this game wasn't given much thought and was rushed out, with the sex up l Lightning thing to guarantee sales. I'm not saying this is a bad thing but this game could've been so much more if more care had been put into the making of this game. I would recommend this game for about a 20 dollar price tag, which it is now. Slightly disappointing Final Fantasy title but it concludes the story of the previous two games so it is worth playing in my opinion. That wraps this review up, hope it helps.

I'll list three of my favorite games so you will know what type of gamer is writing this review. Atelier Totori Danganronpa Fire Emblem THE GOOD: MUSIC: Music is amazing. Some of the best game music you will hear. GRAPHICS:Graphics are good,, this is a touched up PS2 game so the expectations should be along those lines. VOICE ACTING: Voice acting is great. The voice actor for Chie Satanoka was different from the original PS2 title, but I didn't hardly notice a difference and the replacement is just as talented. This game was voice acted about 80 percent of the time. GAMEPLAY: Gameplay is awesome. From dungeon exploring to enhancing social links. STORY: Story is perhaps the best part of all. Great story with twist and turns. With several humorous moments THE BAD: This is expected from any RPG so I couldnt take away from the score but the dungeons and enhancing social links does run a bit stale towards the end. Especially if you unlock the extra playable dungeons. My gameplay time was 70 hours when I finished this game. IN DEPTH REVIEW: You control a party of up to four characters in the dungeons. You can eventually choose between seven or eight characters. Each character has thier unique playstyle. From healer/magic user, to a juggernaut with great attack but low hit. When your not in dungeons, you spend time going to school and spending time with freinds. After school ends in the afternoon, you can spend time with a freind. When you do this, you increase social link ranks which allow you to bonus experience to a persona that you can create. When a social link is maxed, you can create that social links special persona also. You can create personas by fusing together one of more the personas that you currently have. You can get personas by fighting battles. They can simply be acquired at the end of battle. The battle system is composed of finding an enemy's weakness and expoiting it for extra damage and a chance for an all out attack. An all out attack is when all four party members attack at once for big damage. There are no random encounters, most all fights can be avoided if you wish. Also, there is instant kill in this game, which the eneimies can use also. This means that you can get a gameover screen in the blink of an eye. This wasnt a huge problem in this game and there are items you can obtain to prevent it. THE GOLDEN VERSION DIFFERENCE: Different voice actor for Chie More animations More social links Costumes that you can equip in dungeons. An extra dungeon There is also a bathing scene with the girls and some costumes show nudity. I obtained a costume that showed part of naotos rear. The bathing scene shows some rear also. This wraps up this review. Hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Fire Emblem Atelier Totori First, I would like to say this.. This game got some very mixed scores because of some people being offended by the content of this game. This is why I believe Game Informer gave this game a 5 out of 10. I was a little suprised to see some of the content myself. They pushed it to the limit at times. Anyways, THE GOOD: MUSIC: Good music, hard to describe actually. Something like a teenage girl would listen to mixed in with eerieness at times. GAMEPLAY: Gameplay was fun. Challenging at a few parts but you could change the difficulty at anytime if need be. CHARACTER CAST: Character cast was good. The protagonist was a bit babyish at times which is understandable since she is a highschooler but it got to be a little much. Still likeable enough. STORY: Story was good but not great as compared to the other Danganronpa titles. It lacked mystery and the plot was never mind blowing. The ending was good but it didn't live up to the Danganronpa standard. It did have it's intriguing moments though. VOICE ACTING: Voice acted about 80 percent of the time. Voice acting is great also. Every voice fits it's character. THE BAD: GRAPHICS: Graphics are interesting. Lemme say this, i believe the game designers wanted the game to look this way to make the game wierd. The cgs remind me of the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. The characters look like they may have been made of playdough. This will make some ppl hate this game i know, but if you can get past this, then you will enjoy the game. The animations are different and theres about 15 minutes of animation in the game total. GAME LENGTH: The game was 17 hours long and after completion, you unlock a book to read. Long enough I suppose but you may want to wait for a price drop, which will most likely happen soon because some of the scores hurt thier sales quiet a bit I'm sure. Jaged legs, meaning that you could tell where the legs were shapes that had been put together. This didnt show up often but when it did, it was disturbing. Wierd lip movement during cg's and actually didnt have any lips except for the line that would open up and close that was where a mouth should have been. Only during the cg's though. You have to get past a few things like this to enjoy the game. Jiggy legs during cgs at times, meaning they look like they are trembling. I havnt seen this in awhile. IN DEPTH REVIEW: I believe the gameplay is similar to a Silent Hill game. I've never played one of these but I've seen them played quiet often. In Ultra Despair Girls, you have a gun that can hold different kinds of ammo. Each different type of ammo has a different effect. These effects include a fire ammo that fires like a machine gun, an ammo that makes an enemy dance, thus attracting all other enemies in that area to the one who is dancing. A paralyzing ammo that can kill multiple enemies if they are standing in water and a few other ammo types are unlocked throughout the game. There are challenges and puzzles in the game. Some of these may require the internet to figure out. They're are hidden things throughout the game inculding skills that you can equip to the protagonist that increase hp or exp gained or something along those lines. There are also hidden books which unlock a conversation. So exploring can be fun. They're are also boss fights in this game. Each one requires different tactics to beat it. You can also upgrade your gun with monocoins obtained from killing enemies. Also, your partner can be upgraded. You can switch to your partner for a short time during battle. The partner is more powerful and doesn't take damage. The partener has a time limit so they should be used wisely as they take awhile to recharge. There are pantyshots and a lot of sexual refernces along with plenty of perfainity. That wraps this review up, hope it helps someone.

I will tell my 3 favorite games so you will know what type of gamer is writing this review. Atelier Totori Danganronpa Fire Emblem (You should know this review is of the story mode only.) THE GOOD: VOICE ACTING: Great voice acting, voice acted about 80 percent of the time. MUSIC: Great music, from piano melodies to heavy guitar riffs. CHARACTER CAST: Great characters and character interaction. GRAPHICS: Game has a great look in my opinion. My brother said he couldnt get past the fish lips though. He meant when the characters talk, the way thier mouths moved up and down very quickly looked like a fish in some way. This didnt bother me because i hardly ever looked at the mouths of the characters. When they talk, you will most likely be reading along with the text so i dont think this will be an issue for too many people. It was worth mentioning though. GAMEPLAY TIME: Long story mode for a fighting game. Over 20 hours. A lot of this time is spent reading. About 85 percent reading and 15 percent battles. Definently more of a visual novel then anything else if you are playing in story mode. This wasn't really a bad thing though. The story is written well enough to keep you rather intrigued. THE BAD: Watching the same scenes over and over with another persons outlook got old. You will do this often. Gameplay is drab. I won every fight with the same combo. If you and your opponent are running to each other, you will always get your combo in before them. Its the way the ai is programmed. I won every fight by just running up to the opponent and pressing square multiple times. Difficulty could have been amped up I believe but i didnt see the need as i dont particuraly care for fighting games anyway. Played this one mostly for the story. Another slight complaint is the way you have to read the people thoughts in each character storyline. They are not voiced and the dialogue is shown in bright white letters with a bright background. Found myself squinting my eyes just to read **** should definently take a break from this game every hour or so in my opinion. Just to let your eyes rest. I did try adjusting the brightness on my tv but it didn't help much. I would reccomend this game to a persona fan who wanted to keep in the know with the story but if you dont particulary care, I might pass. You should know that this game can be bought for under a 20 dollar price tag though. That wraps this review up.Hope it helps someone. Just in case you didn't catch this, Persona Ultimax is a sequel to Persona Arena and not a remake.

I'll tell my favorite games so you will know what kind of gamer is writing this review. Atelier Totori Danganronpa Fire Emblem You should know I played the previous two Atelier Dusk games and the Atelier Arland series. I'm a big fan of the Arland games while I don't particuraly care for the Dusk games. THE GOOD: GAMEPLAY: The battle system was good but the item synthesis was bland. I'll delve more into this further down in the review. VOICE ACTING: This game was voice acted about 70 percent of the time. It wasn't the greatest voice acting and not all of the voice actors fit the characters. MUSIC: Music is good but I prefered the music in the Arland games. GRAPHICS: Graphics were good. The dungeons looked great. STORY: Story could be put into the bad category or the good. Some parts were entertaining and brought a slight smile to my face while other parts were drab. The ending definently belongs in the bad category and I'll explain why there. Don't worry though, all my reviews are 100 percent spoiler free. CHARACTER CAST: Character cast is also good and bad, some characters were rather bad in my opinion. These bad characters were a serious depressed never crack a smile kind of girl. A treasure hunter who loved and bragged about her little sister. A homucouli who had poor english. There was some great characters from the previous games though. THE BAD The ending was a big letdown. There wasnt even an animation. You also could choose between two different ending but couldnt save before making the decision. So you would have to fight the final boss again and press x through a lot of conversation before getting both endings with the heroin that you chose at the beginning. Bad voice acting on some characters. You get used to it after awhile but was off putting at first. Many of the voice acted parts didn't actually match the words you would read. That's not a big deal but it would confuse you for a half second when you read along with the voice actors. IN DEPTH REVIEW: Battle system is turn based like the other games in the series. In fact, most of it is exactly the same. Your heroine can use items that you synthsize in battle which includes healing, stat boosting, and attack items. You can have a party of 6 characters at a time. You only get 8 characters in total unless they're some dlc characters. All these characters have a unique special move they can use after certain conditions are met in battle. You always have 3 characters on the front line and 3 in the back line. The ones in the back line can be used to help defend the characters in front or for an extra attack. There is also a burst mode that you can activate by attacking the enemy. Once this fills up, you can deal extra damage and use special abilities like stat boost and damage reduction. Also you can link you characters attacks for big damage. Burst mode last about 2 or 3 turns. Sythesizing items is rather bland. You wasn't required to do much of this though. You eventually get so many items to synthesize that it becomes annoying when you're trying to find a specific item to synthesize. You are also required to complete task to advance the next chapter. None of these task was overly difficult though. There was also no clock in this game like the arland games. You can spend as much time exploring and synthesizing as you like. My game time was 35 hours when I beat this game. It does have replay value because of multilple endings and different heroine choice at the begining. There was also girls in swimming suits and a swimming scene in this game. You should know that the game has to be updated to use the growth system in this game. Your ps3 will crash and you will lose all unsaved progress if you go to the growth system screen without first updating the game. You dont unlock this untill level 40 though. That wraps the review up, overall, a rather bland game with some good but few moments thrown in.

I'll tell my favorite three games so you will know what kind of gamer is writing this review. Fire emblem series Danganronpa series Atelier Totori (You should know this review is of the story mode only.) THE GOOD: GRAPHICS: Graphics are top notch along with the art. MUSIC: Music was great. VOICE ACTING: This game was voice acted about 85 percent of the time. Great voice acting also. GAMEPLAY TIME: About a 12 hour story mode. Not as long as persona 4 arena. STORY: The story is good but not great. I was quiet dissappointed in the ending, and this includes the games true ending. CHARACTER CAST: The character cast and character interaction was great. IN DEPTH REVIEW: No more repeated scenes with a different persons outlook as in persona 4 arena. This is what actually made this game shorter than persona 4 arena. This game was about 80 percent story and 20 percent fighting. This wasnt a bad thing in my opinion. If you do need more fighting from the game, there is always arcade mode and 2 player. As in persona 4 Arena., I was able to win every fight by using the same combo over and over with every character. This was on the preset difficulty. I'm sure you could boost the difficulty if you need more of a challenge. That wraps the review up everyone. The game goes for about a 20 dollar price tag. Mine also came with a teddie bob inflatable for this price. Be sure to get one with that included as it might be worth something later on. For the price of the game, I would recommend it to Persona fans. If you are just looking for an anime fighting game, I would look for something else though.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa Fire Emblem Atelier Totori THE GOOD: GAMEPLAY: More fun than any Disgea title yet. Many new mechanics have been added on the battlefield and off. I'll delve more into gameplay later in this review. GRAPHICS: About what Disgea fans expect. Backgrounds have been improved but still have a ways to go. STORY: Rather dull at the beginning but gets intriguing halfway through and the ending was great. Disgea 5 didn't have an animation at the end which was dissapointing but still delivered nonetheless. CHARACTER CAST: Is great except one. The big stupid muslehead type character in this game is rather bad. Persona 4 pulled this character type off with Kanji but Disgea 5 couldn't hit that same note. VOICE ACTING: Great voice acting. On par with Disgea 4. This game is voice acted about 80 percent of the time. GAMEPLAY TIME: Legnthy story mode and endgame content can claim hundreds of hours. If you plan to only play the story mode, expect 50 to 60 hours of gameplay time. Lots of new classes including pirates, sages, undead maids, wrestlers, two headed dragons, and more. THE BAD Some classes have been removed that was on previous Disgea titles. Tree giants, upright dragons, flame head knights, armor knights and more. To get your favorite characters from past games now requires buying thier dlc. Usually 4 dollars for a set of three characters and some levels that have to be beaten to unlock them. I guess the good thing is that you can play with them from the start but I still didn't think this was the right decision. Also, Plenair cannot be recruited unless you buy the season pass which i believe is now unavailable. IN DEPTH REVIEW: There are many new functions that have been added to Disgea 5 and I'll list some of these here. CURRY SHOP, you can make curry here that can be used during battle for various benefits. SQUAD MANAGER, you can assign members to squads for benefits in and out of battle. CHARA WORLD, play a board game here to increase your party members appitudes. QUEST SHOP, complete quest here to obtain items and recruitable characters. ITEM SYNTHESIS SHOP, create items here, very similar to dragon quest 7s method of item synthesis. INNOCENT FARM, you can breed innocents here. These new added functions along with a few others help make this Disgea title one of the **** new gameplay mechanics are a nice addition to the Disgea series as well. Montoss now allows monters to throw though they can't end a turn lifting. Revenge mode is an awesome addition added as well. Main charceters have a special ability they can use once they fill up thier revenge gauge, you can fill this up by taking damage. That wraps this review up, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, i'll list three of my favorite games. Danganronpa, Fire Emblem, and Atelier Totori. I also wish metacritic would give us the options of points when rating because i wanted to give this a 7.5 score THE GOOD: VOICE ACTING: This game was constantly voice acted. The voice acting is in Japanese though in case you didnt know that yet. I can't tell you if the voice acting was good quality because I actually block it out to read the dialogue. I can tell that Japanese voice actors tend to be higher pitched which annoys me personally. MUSIC: Music is great in this game at times while other times its average. The last dungeon and final boss fight had some of the best music Ive heard in video games. GAMEPLAY: Theres good and bad mixed in here actually. The level up system is awesome and you can choose between about a dozen different party members by the endgame. Each member has a unique ability also. You can also change party members classes after a certain level requirement. I'll delve more into this further down in this review. GRAPHICS AND ART: The dungeons graphics are good but nothing amazing is ever seen. The characters art is very nicely done though. There was never any animataions in this game. GAMEPLAY TIME AND ENDGAME CONTENT: My gameplay time upon completion was 55 hours without doing many quest or grinding. There seems to be a lot of endgame content but i havnt started that yet. I do see that there is 2 extra dungeons at least. THE BAD: STORY: mediocre, very mediocre. You could really tell they didnt put much thought into it. The ending was blah as well but that was expected. IN DEPTH REVIEW: The main protoganist is the worst that i have ever played in any rpg. He's a goody two shoes rule upholder and actually tells a girl that she has a chubby stomach and flabby arms after she invited him into her room to give her a massage. The dungeons are the worst. They are specifically designed to annoy you. Such as, one way walls walls that force you to backtrack floortraps that inflict your party with status ailments, and too many battles, the enemy has a great chance of a preemptive strike that can kill half your party before you can even act. There is a skill with a certain class that can help increase your chances of a preemptive strike but you have to pour your skill points into it. The game is very hard at times and never really feels rewarding, just annoying. Character customization is incredible. After level 15, you can change a members class into a more advnaced class. You can choose between two classes each time you change class. You can change into an even more advanced class at level 30. Each of these classes you change into have uniques skills that you can upgrade with skill points. You obtain skill points from leveling up and can earn points from using a special item on a party member but these are rare of course. Also, when you change class, your party members costume changes which can be a good thing or bad actually. Some of the costumes ruined a characters appearance in my opinion. You can also upgrade equipment in this game which allows you to put specific boost to each characeters equipment. Every party member is a girl in this game. This game has the most fan service i have ever seen in any other game. There are probaly about 35 different panty shots and rears are show half nude sometimes. While this game is good, i would have to reccommend Demon Gaze instead. It is very hard as well and has some fanservice too, but not nearly as much as Dungeon Travelers 2. Nonetheless, Demon Gaze has english voice acting and its dungeons arent annoying. Its almost identical to this game actually except just better in my opinion. Demon Gazes storyline is slightly better also. That wraps it up. Hope it helps.

So you will know what type of gamer is writing this review, I'll list my favorite games. Fire Emblem, Danganronpa, Atelier Totori. Story: Definently not on Danganronpas level or even 999s or Virtues Last Rewards, but it wasn't necessarily a bad story. It was a bit hard to follow at times and I'll list some reasons why further down in this review. No spoilers though of course. Music: meh, not good or bad Gameplay: The gameplay was the worst i have ever played in any visual novel. The controls were a problem during one escape scene and there are a few other complaints i have. No fast foward or skip button. This game needed that function like you need coffee in the morning. You will have to rewatch lenghty dialogue scenes many, many times. Also, this game had no map. This was intended of course but i hated this fact. The exploration is full of backtracking and with no map. Graphics: ...Not the best. The people who made this game didnt have much money at this point so graphics look like a gameboy advance game. I actually heard that this was made on rpg maker. The characters art are nicely done though. Voice acting: Just in case you didnt know, there is no english dub. Everything is in japanese and it is constantly voice acted which was quiet suprising. This was my first game with no english dubs and i really didnt care for the experience. The constant japanese voice acting kept distracting me as i was trying to read the text. Also, the screams and crying are obnoxious. They are so loud and lenghty and come from nowhere so you dont hardly have time to turn down the vita or psp. In Depth Review: First thing i would like to say is the game is not worth the 20 dollar price tag. It was rather short, only about 10 hours. Some of the characters in the game looked very similar such as they had the same hair color and wore the same uniform. This caused some confusion when trying to keep up with who's who. Also, you dont get to know the characters much at all before you have to start remembering names. There was many times someone was mentioned that i had no clue who they were. The story wasnt the best and I didnt even understand one part of the ending. I believe much of my trouble lies with the fact that this game wasnt dubbed in english though. I just couldnt get as absorbed into the game without it speaking my language so my concentration wasnt at its best. You will also need a walkthrough for this game most likely unless you plan to start over from the last save point many times over and rewatch a lot of scenes and dialogue. The game consist of exploration, story scenes, and some slight puzzle moments. I really wanted to make this series work for me so i will play the second soon and will be writing its review soon as well. You should also know this game has some fanservice but very little and also had some perfainity including gd. Id still reccomend it to someone but dont play it after just coming off Danganronpa or 999 as you will likely judge it rather harshly. I also hear the second Corpse Party game is mostly dialogue with little gameplay which im glad about. Hope it helps,

I will tell my three favorite games so you will know what kind of gamer I am. Atelier Arland Totori Danganronpa series Fire Emblem: Path of Rsdiance The way I write these reviews is I list the good points of the game, then the bad, and finally talk about the gameplay and close the review with some comments. THE GOOD: Great gameplay: Gameplay involves quite a bit of strategy as you can personalize your characters with orbs that grant various benefits. Also each character host a different playstyle and you can choose between about a dozen towards the end. I'll delve more into this further down in this review. Great music: Music was topnotch. The town music also changes at one point (like when the dorm music changed in persona 3 towards the end) which was awesome. Its all Japanese voiced music and intrumentals. Graphics: The character illustrations was great. The look of the fight scenes were rather strange. Everyone has a bobblehead doll look. You can turn these battle animations off though which also saves some time during battles. Replay value: My gqmeplay time was 45 hours when I had beat this game. It also has replay value as you can max out every social link the second playthrough. It also has multiple endings. Story: I've read previous reviews that said the story was drab. I dont think this is true at all. I have played avast amount of rpgs and this one had a storyline that was quite a bit above the medium. Its not every rpg that can make you like every single character but this game pulled it off with flying colors with great character interactions and character personalities. Voice acting: This game was voice acted about 60 percent of the time. It was voice acted more in the beginning and slowly dwindled towards the end. It was superb voice acting. The voice actors were almost on persona 4 level. Every voice fit every character perfectly. Difficulty: The difficulty was just right. You will have to spend a few hours in the game leveling up on bonus levels which is a perfect balance considering the game is about 45 hours long. THE BAD: There really wasnt anything I would complain about except maybe the time it took to complete a battle. Im used to quickly makely decisions, pressing the buttons, and ending the battle very quickly. This wasnt possible in this game as the enemys turns took longer than most rpgs. If you cancel the battle scenes though, it helps quite a bit. DETAILS AND COMMENTS: I'll start this section of with gameplay details. The game consist of two parts, free time and mission time. During free time, you can talk to your comrades, accept jobs, or go exploring. Talking to your comrades gives you a scene that delves into that characters personalities. After you have done this enough to advance the social link rank, that character will improve thier battle support effects and gain a helpful skill such as sp cost reduced. You can afvance the social link rank 3 or 4 times untill it maxes out. When a witch obtains a max social link, they obtain a new costume and a new and more powerful song. You should know you cannot change back to the previous costume though. Also, maxing out a witches social link requires tuning. Tuning is just a battle with sometimes special victory conditions. Some of these social link scenes are also voice acted which is quiet nice. Accpeting a job is just a way of earning extra money which isnt really necessary, and exploring allows you to obtain an item. I never did either of these much as social links seemed to be the most important. The battles were very strategic for a few reasons. The reasons were every character has a support skill that is always active if someone is adjacent to them, such as incresed dodge or increased critical chance. Of course, grouping your characters up is dangerous as many enemies have attacks that can hit a group of your characters. The second reason is orbs. Equiping orbs allows you to customize each character. Some orbs include, increased attack, increased aim, small chance of critical chance up upon killing an enemy, and lone orb which allows your character to deal more damage when NOT SUPPORTED. You can eventually equip about 5 orbs to each character as the weapons with more orb slots become available. The third reason the battles include strategy are level ups. When you level up, your character completly heals thier hp and sp, so keeping up with your exp guage is very important as it may prevent you from wasting a healing item and turn. Of course this game plays like the 2 previous Luminous Arc games, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy Tactics. Im refering to the grid based battlefield. If you have not played the Previous 2 Luminous Arc titles, i suggest you do, that is if you like Stella Glow as they are made by the same folks that brought you Stella Glow and play about the same. While i give this game a 10/10, i would hive the Luminous Arc games about a 8/10. Sadly, I have reached the type limit.HopeItHelps
