Fahrenheit 11/90
Sep 22, 2018
Typical story from Moore. Deceptively edited to portray things much worse than they really are. It's amazing how the elitists like Moore just don't get the tidal wave that is Trump. He is the symbolic middle finger from normal people living normal lives to the rich, elite, and entitled. Skip this one or wait until it's free to stream on Netflix in 3-6 months.

Pathetic excuse for a movie. Don't waste your time or money on this one. .

Our family went to the drive-in to see this. Everyone really enjoyed the movie. Highly recommend!

Our family watched this on Netflix after seeing Solo at the theaters. Nobody cared for Solo, but the whole family absolutely loved Coco!
Tip to Disney - Let Pixar take the reins with the Star Wars material.

Solo: A Star Wars Story1
May 31, 2018
Despite being disappointed with the other recent star wars flicks (Rogue One was the exception), we decided to give this a try and went to the local drive in. The previews were easy to see, but when this movie started, the scenes were so dark that we had no clue what was going on for the first 5-10 minutes. Eventually, the scenes brightened up, but the story was quite poor. I had hopes this may be another Rogue One, but sadly, it was a huge let down. This will be the last star wars that I pay for. The next one, I'll just wait until it shows up on netflix.

Good movie. Bruce Willis is always good in this type of flick.
The "critic" reviews seem way off. I guess in the current climate, their politics outweighs their job responsibility of providing impartial movie reviews.
Oh well, the user ratings will show that this one is worth seeing. Just remember, it's R rated, so leave the kiddos at home when you go see it!

This movie wasn't bad but be cautious of it not having a rating. There was some language in the film that I thought was inappropriate for the target audience of younger children.

Warcraft9
Feb 14, 2018
Well, the critics sure got this one wrong. I thought it was very good. The kids loved it. We hope to see a Warcraft 2 soon!

This one was pretty good. However, I made the mistake of playing this when my elderly parents were visiting thinking it would be a typical Avengers type movie. Awkward!
Definitely keep the young kiddos away from this one!

The Conjuring 29

We enjoyed the first movie, but the second one definitely took things up a notch. If you liked the first and haven't seen this one, what are you waiting for?

Filthy gutter trash movie. You will feel your brain cells dying during this one.
Please, oh please, don't let young ones near this movie.

We watched this the same day as Patriots Day.
I thought this was a more enjoyable movie. Totally unbelievable action sequences, but still enjoyable. Get the popcorn ready when watching this one

Star Trek Beyond7
Feb 14, 2018
Pretty good flick. Saw it in the IMAX with my family. Had I known some joker would have his bright cell phone out for half of the movie and cause a distraction, I would have waited to watch this at home in my own theater setup.

Patriots Day7
Feb 14, 2018
Pretty good movie. I think another actor may have done a better job than Mark W with this one. Regarding the content, having been standing where the first bomb went off 7 minutes before hand (walking, 1.5 blocks away when it went off), the movie didn't touch on any of the chaos near the finish line, downtown, family meeting area. Nobody knew where to go and sirens/vehicles were going off in all directions. I would like to say the locals and small shop owners in the downtown of Boston were so kind/wonderful to the exhausted runners and their family/support who where there and didn't know where to go (no transportation available, cell/data networks down).

Avengers: Age of Ultron6
Feb 14, 2018
I love watching these types of movies with my family, but I honestly don't know how they get away with a PG-13 rating on this. So much violence. I would easily put this in the R category. 6/10 for the movie/story.

The Hateful Eight4

Oh my, what a violent movie. Please don't watch this when kids are around.

The Lost City of Z6
Feb 14, 2018
The story here was pretty decent. The film seemed to drag at times though. It felt like a pretty low budget work - borderline cable level documentary / feature film.
I'd give it 6/10.

Dunkirk7
Feb 14, 2018
I was told this movie was hard to follow and I should brush up on the history of Dunkirk. I did not get a chance to review the history and just jumped into the movie. It had multiple stories going on and I didn't think it was hard to follow. My 16 year old son and I both enjoyed it. It's no Lord of the Rings, but a solid 7/10.
Feb 14, 2018
Get Out6
Feb 14, 2018
Decent movie. Parents, please don't watch this when kids are around. There is plenty of violence and language that will warp young minds.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens1
Feb 14, 2018
Love the older Star Wars movie. Did not care for this. It seems like they modeled it after the original. How about some originality folks! My kids and I enjoy the Clone Wars series on Netflix much more than the main movies.
Feb 14, 2018
Wind River9
Feb 14, 2018
Excellent movie! We enjoyed this much more than that star wars movie that just came out.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story8
Feb 14, 2018
A few other Dads and I took the kids to the theater for this one. This movie was much better than the main Star Wars story line (episodes 7 and 8).

Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi0
Feb 14, 2018
After the disappointing episode 7, I had my hopes up that this movie would be an improvement. 13 of us (3 families) went to a nice theater to see this. The general consensus was that the movie was too long, hard to follow in spots, and generally just not that entertaining. I have decided this will be the last $ that the Star Wars franchise will get out of us. There are just too many other truly great movies out there to spend ones time enjoying than this disney-made-mess of a movie.
