A truly fun and catty spy game. Cate Archer is a fantastic character. The weapons are fun (mascara stun gun to name one), cutscenes are memorable and the missions similar in style to GoldenEye’s missions.

Loving this game! Still looks great by today’s standards. Driving is smooth, cars look great and there are plenty of different activities to do on the map.

A magnificent game. The story is dark and very well written, as are the characters. Bioware's absolute best. I have replayed this game over and over, I never get tired of it. Each play through slightly different than the last due to the choices given. For pc players there is a patch that can be downloaded and plenty of mods to polish it a little.

A mixtape that never fully plays… Mixtape isn’t really a video game as much as it is an interactive story. The actual gameplay is minimal and most of the interactions have little to no impact on the narrative. It is extremely linear, with virtually no challenge or player agency throughout. Running on series x the game seems to need some optimisation, the soundtrack was nice though.

An excellent game! This is exactly what I needed after the disappointment and insult that was Dragon Age The Veilguard. This is on another level with its choices and story and characters. I love it and will happily replay.

I love the original. Was hoping that this would fix the annoying camera angles and make the game a lot smoother overall… and it did. It looks and feels and runs better. Thats about it though. You start with all the moves and abilities. No back and forth to unlock worlds. Its boring. So many dull collectibles too. Can’t even be bothered to finish it and was really looking forward to it.

I still hate it as of April 2026. Played on GamePass and cannot finish it. A massive fan of the series and I absolutely hate this piece of ****. Nothing to do with what content creators have said, I have eyes and a brain, this is an insult to both.

What the hell!? A side scroller was taking a risk in the first place, but definitely could have been pulled off if done right. Janky and clunky and very disappointing. I’ll never understand why studios cannot respect the story that is already there and add to it without **** all over it. I am glad we have SR1/ SR2 and Defiance to play on modern systems but if this is how they treat the series moving forward perhaps they should just leave it alone. Or retcon what they just did.

I enjoyed my first play-through on all the quest-lines but the story was a bit underwhelming to be honest. You get the “new content” buzz on a new release but it definitely fades fast on some expansions and this for me is one of those expansions. Once I finished the quest-lines I stopped being interested. Definitely had more fun in Dragonflight. This expansion has plenty of content and things to do so definitely worth it if you like WoW and want to waste a few hours here and there.

First time player. Having a lot of fun with this game. Sexy protagonist with just enough foul language throughout, it’s a lot of fun. No narrative pushing and clearly “the gaming journalists” will not appreciate this because it hasn’t been mutilated to suit a modern audience. Also as a gay man I appreciate good looking characters and fun gameplay… so keep it up

Note: I am only seven hours into gameplay. Have attempted the first Titan but failed! Pros: Fun game! Lots of mini puzzles to do! Story is good! Music is excellent! Boss fights are fun! Cons: Graphics are underwhelming. Camera action is a bit wonky. The first island is okay, just doesn't feel connected while playing, it is a bit all over the place. Boss fights become dull after you kill them once or twice. First Titan boss: a little underwhelming, just a button smash which I failed, I realized where I had gone wrong and will get back to it later, I guess. All you need is to smash the buttons and do a couple of combos, it seems a bit of a boring boss to be honest. I still have 3 islands to do but I have a good feeling my opinion won't change. I am glad I bought the game but also feel I should have waited for the first price drop.

You will either love it or hate it. Most games have similarities to others at this point so I am not sure why some critics can’t comprehend that. While I was unsure at the beginning of how I felt about this game I gave it a chance and I absolutely love it. Some of the challenges are tedious yes, but also very satisfying to complete and get rewarded for! There is plenty to collect and discover in the game and I find myself dipping in and out for a few hours here and there. The humour was annoying at the start, but I find it very amusing now and I feel that this is a game I am glad I bought when released. The combat system is fun, you can button mash to get through fights if you like but if you take the time to try parry, dodge and use special combinations you will find it more interesting! While I still haven’t completed the game (2 areas left) I am taking my time to do everything and enjoy it and then purchase the season pass!

What a game! It is a rare pleasure to have a game bring you on an emotional journey like this. From the very beginning you are drawn in with beautiful artwork, haunting music and a story that is so well told, it doesn’t leave you. Collecting all the powers and finding the secrets in each area is enjoyable and not a chore at all like some games can be. I really enjoyed every part of this game from start to finish.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a game I have enjoyed multiple times. The more I play, the more I notice the changes to the story and my agents as I chose different paths. The game is beautiful in design, looks and plays nice on decent hardware, from my experience anyway. Plenty to do to keep busy when wanting to take a break from the main story whether it be the side quests, inner circle quests or farming metals and plants to create potion, bombs, weapons and armour. The game is the second best in the series in my opinion and while not without its flaws, a truly enjoyable experience that I will continue to enjoy.

Not a pro player but have enjoyed many hours in the World of Warcraft (and will continue hopefully!) Shadowlands is the first expansion that for me personally has failed on all counts. I usually enjoy some, if not all elements of an expansion. So I would generally be quite a “glass half full” kinda player where if I didn’t like something I’d enjoy something else in the game. Sadly, not the case this time. First of all, levelling a character should be fun! An adventure that you (the hero) must endure! Shadowlands makes this so much of a chore that it is painful to get to max level. The main storyline is boring, as are the side stories along the way. This tied together with uninteresting environments which fail to captivate and draw you in, makes for a tedious progression. I have seen reviews that have commended the art and design elements of the expansion. I don’t see what there is to commend. Every expansion has its good and bad areas, but always at least once you would be taken back by an area and go “wow” this is beautiful! I didn’t get that in any zone this time. I didn’t like the idea of covenants when they were announced, but they were not as bad as I thought they would be, still not interesting enough to make you log in and sure by the next expansion they will be gone so they don’t really matter. Overall a story should inspire, captivate and draw you in so that all the levelling, dungeons and raids add to the story and make you feel your character is the hero of the story and your common goal is to defeat the villain Shadowlands failed to inspire me to even attempt a dungeon or raid or even get any legendary gear. If you are wondering if you should play Shadowlands, wait until a future patch. Hopefully some interesting content will be added to make it at least enjoyable until the next expansion.
