Enjoyed this game greatly. I don't understand the bad reviews this is one of the best soullike games that isn't from soft, It feels so close to dark souls 1. Sinner is for someone who likes to perfect their play style in a souls game. No world, no time padding slop to extend gameplay. Straight action and it gets to the point. I didn't like the de-rpg aspect at first but if you get sick of a boss or frustrated you can learn another. This design works so well because in order to beat all of the bosses with the progressive debuffs you have to become in tune with how you fight efficiently enough the debuffs won't matter. Which brings me to the only issue I have is that the game feels long and impossible before you learn the combat but when you do you'll breeze through it. Will always go back to it when I don't feel like spending hours looking for items in a game where you fight. I wanna fight stuff, Sinner has given me such an itch for boss rush games

Nice overall design and music. Combat is ok. The platforming and camera controls feel great. However 5 because the game does not really want you to play it. It doesn't respect your time. Horrible run backs to bosses silksong is relaxing in comparison. Also jump button is the same as interact. You must always be able to jump in a platforming game major mistake Im not sure why developers keep thinking that's a good idea. How many times I tryuse the harpoon above the first checkpoint but every time you jump, you will attune at the save point. Several places you will be unable to jump just because there is something there, like an unsalvageable robot that you can't even interact with it but because it's there you cannot jump untill you walk away from it. In a platforming game you must always be able to jump. It's mind blowing to me a game made it out of beta without taking that into consideration. Also the boss run backs that serve no purpose. Atleast silksong has a platforming puzzle you need to solve for the run backs. If you make me spend 3 minutes just sleep walking to a boss, no challenge no checkpoints i just loose interest in fighting that boss or playing the game. but why put a healing station by the boss but not something to let you continue attempts?
